As a Key Account Manager at Jumia, you will be at the heart of our commercial engine — owning a portfolio of strategic vendors and driving their success on Africa's leading e-commerce platform. You will be the trusted partner that brands rely on, building powerful joint business plans and ensuring every commercial lever — assortment, pricing, stock, content, and visibility — is firing on all cylinders. What you will be doing

What we are looking for

• Market expertise. At least 2 years of experience in the category or retail industry, with a sharp understanding of local market dynamics, key players, and consumer behaviour.
• Category knowledge. Deep familiarity with your market's category ecosystem — from major brands and distributors to emerging trends shaping the industry.
• Top-tier academic background. Graduate of a leading business or engineering school (Top 5 in your country or an internationally recognized equivalent).
• Commercial firepower. Proven track record of delivering strong business results, with the confidence and skill to negotiate at the highest levels.
• Analytical mindset. Ability to cut through complex data, extract meaningful insights, and translate them into clear, actionable strategies.
