We are looking for a Functional Analyst / Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team and support the delivery of high-quality digital banking solutions. In this role, you will begin by contributing to software quality assurance activities while progressively developing your functional analysis skills. You will work closely with Business Analysts, Developers, and Product Owners to validate business requirements, define acceptance criteria, support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and ensure solutions meet business, functional, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain test plans aligned with project milestones
• Prepare and manage test data based on business requirements
• Execute manual test cases and validate application functionality
• Report, track, and verify software defects through resolution
• Collaborate with Development and Support teams to analyse and troubleshoot issues
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities
• Create and refine acceptance criteria for user stories
• Assist in writing functional specifications for development teams
• Clarify business requirements and business rules with technical teams
• Review and analyse business and functional requirements
• Ensure delivered solutions comply with business and regulatory requirements
• Analyse and support banking processes across multiple business domains

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in Software Testing, Quality Assurance, Functional Analysis, or a similar role
• Experience performing manual testing for web and/or mobile applications
• Experience preparing test plans, test cases, and test data
• Experience reporting and tracking software defects
• Experience supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into test scenarios
• Professional proficiency in English

Nice to Have

• Experience in the banking or financial services sector
• Knowledge of banking processes such as Account Opening, Loans, Credit Cards, KYC, or Payments
• Experience testing web banking and mobile banking applications
• Experience with payment systems, domestic and international transfers, or IRIS payments
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Experience using Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar ALM tools
