Duties include:

• Carry out installation, repair, and maintenance of a wide range of floor coverings including carpet, vinyl, safety flooring, wet room flooring, screeding, and sub-floor preparation.
• Assess work requirements, diagnose issues, and determine the most effective repair or installation approach.
• Apply a right-first-time approach to minimise repeat visits and improve service efficiency.
• Work with other trades to support multi-trade jobs and improve overall productivity.
• Communicate clearly with customers, ensuring they understand the work being undertaken and are supported.
• Accurately update job progress, outcomes, and notes using systems such as Dynamic Repairs Scheduler.
• Work in accordance with Health & Safety legislation including HASAWA and COSHH requirements.
• Identify and report risks, hazards, or safeguarding concerns.

Requirements

• Proven experience in floorlaying including preparation and installation of a range of floor coverings.
• Have your own set of tools.
• Ability to assess and diagnose flooring requirements.
• Full UK driving licence and able to drive manual fleet.

• Right to Work in the UK - Visa Sponsorship is not available
• A basic DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check will be required for the successful candidate as part of the pre-employment process - Criminal Conviction Checks
