Come join Incommunities as our new Floorlayer! Within this role, you will deliver high quality flooring installations and repairs across all workstreams inc responsive repairs, planned works and empty homes.

Duties include:
- Carry out installation, repair, and maintenance of a wide range of floor coverings including carpet, vinyl, safety flooring, wet room flooring, screeding, and sub-floor preparation.
- Assess work requirements, diagnose issues, and determine the most effective repair or installation approach.
- Apply a right-first-time approach to minimise repeat visits and improve service efficiency.
- Work with other trades to support multi-trade jobs and improve overall productivity.
- Communicate clearly with customers, ensuring they understand the work being undertaken and are supported.
- Accurately update job progress, outcomes, and notes using systems such as Dynamic Repairs Scheduler.
- Work in accordance with Health & Safety legislation including HASAWA and COSHH requirements.
- Identify and report risks, hazards, or safeguarding concerns.
Requirements
- Proven experience in floorlaying including preparation and installation of a range of floor coverings.
- Have your own set of tools.
- Ability to assess and diagnose flooring requirements.
- Full UK driving licence and able to drive manual fleet.
- Right to Work in the UK - Visa Sponsorship is not available
- A basic DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check will be required for the successful candidate as part of the pre-employment process - Criminal Conviction Checks
