Über diese Director - Projects (Concrete) MBS Stadium - SPA2 Stelle bei Qiddiya Investment Company
Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking an experienced Construction Director to lead delivery of the East Stand at the Prince Mohammed Bin Salman (MBS) Stadium, one of the flagship venues within Qiddiya City and a confirmed host for the 2034 FIFA World Cup. Perched on the Tuwaiq cliff at a height of 200 metres, the stadium presents a uniquely demanding construction environment, and the East Stand forms a critical structural element of the three-tiered seating bowl, requiring rigorous management of complex concrete and structural works executed alongside sheer cliffside conditions.
Reporting into the wider Project Delivery leadership, the Construction Director will take end-to-end ownership of the East Stand build, from substructure and piling through to superstructure and finishes, ensuring the works are delivered safely, to specification, and in line with programme and cost targets. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to a construction professional with deep, proven expertise in large-scale concrete structures, ideally within stadia, high-rise, or major infrastructure environments.
Requirements
Lead and direct all construction activities for the East Stand, from foundations and piling through to structural concrete and building envelope completion
Take direct ownership of concrete engineering quality, including formwork, reinforcement, pour sequencing, and curing standards across a complex, cliffside structural environment
Develop and manage detailed construction programmes, ensuring works are sequenced to protect the overall stadium delivery schedule
Manage site-based contractors and subcontractors, ensuring performance against contractual obligations, quality benchmarks, and safety standards
Enforce rigorous health, safety, and environmental controls appropriate to a high-risk cliffside construction site
Coordinate closely with design, engineering, and project controls teams to resolve technical and site-execution issues in real time
Monitor and report on construction progress, risks, and quality metrics to senior stadium leadership
Lead, mentor, and build capability within the site-based construction management team
Requirement
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
Minimum of 10-12' years of relevant construction experience, with substantial time spent in a senior site leadership role on large-scale, complex structures
Demonstrable, hands-on expertise in structural concrete construction, ideally including stadia, high-rise, or major civil infrastructure projects
Experience delivering construction works in technically challenging or constrained site environments
Strong working knowledge of FIDIC contract forms and construction quality/compliance frameworks
Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary site teams and manage contractor performance under pressure
Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills
