About the Role
At Pavago, one of our clients is hiring a Business Intelligence Developer to build advanced analytics solutions, dashboards, and reporting systems that help utility organizations make smarter infrastructure decisions.
This is a highly technical role focused on transforming time-series, geospatial, and asset data into scalable Power BI dashboards, automated reporting systems, and actionable business insights. You’ll work with modern Microsoft technologies, GIS platforms, and cloud infrastructure to deliver solutions that improve operational visibility and decision-making.

What You’ll Own
Business Intelligence & Dashboard Development
- Design and develop advanced Power BI dashboards and reports.
- Build scalable data models for large operational datasets.
- Transform complex time-series, geospatial, and asset data into meaningful visualizations.
- Develop automated reporting solutions that support business decision-making.
- Optimize dashboard performance, usability, and reliability.
Data Modeling & Analytics
- Build robust data models using:
- SQL
- Python
- Power BI
- Analyze complex operational datasets and generate actionable insights.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reporting integrity.
- Support advanced analytics across multiple business functions.
GIS & Geospatial Analytics
- Develop reporting solutions using Esri GIS.
- Integrate geospatial datasets into Power BI reporting.
- Create visualizations that support infrastructure planning and asset management.
- Help simplify complex utility and engineering concepts into user-friendly reporting.
Azure & System Integrations
- Develop cloud-based reporting solutions using:
- Microsoft Azure
- Microsoft Fabric
- Build integrations using APIs and cloud services.
- Maintain scalable reporting infrastructure.
- Support automation and data synchronization across business systems.
Collaboration & Product Development
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams.
- Translate technical requirements into scalable reporting solutions.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of reporting platforms.
- Support UI and reporting enhancements using design specifications.
