 As a Credit Analyst, you'll gain hands-on exposure to financial markets and play a critical role in our growth. This position offers a front-row seat to end-to-end credit risk management: from assessing creditworthiness and monitoring portfolio exposures to refining risk policies, conducting post-approval reviews, and developing smart, data-driven strategies to mitigate credit risk.

What will you do:

• Dive into numbers! Read, analyse, and interpret clients’ credit data, financial statements, and reports to understand how companies tick.
• Evaluate credit applications and provide solid, well-thought-out recommendations.
• Make sure every credit review aligns with the company’s credit strategy and policies.
• Keep an eye on the bigger picture by conducting industry studies and tracking economic trends, so our business units stay one step ahead in a fast-paced world.
• Get involved in credit-related projects, system upgrades, and process improvements. Your ideas matter here!
• Take on ad-hoc tasks and special assignments from your supervisor. Flexibility and initiative are always appreciated!

Requirements

What are we looking for:

• Candidate must be Malaysian.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or any other equivalent.
• Preferably 1 to 2 years of credit risk analysis, ideally within a financial institution, factoring house, or other credit-intensive industry. Experience managing SME portfolios is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
• Self-motivated, capable of working independently, managing multiple priorities, and thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Proficient in Excel and financial / accounting analysis.
• Experience leveraging automation tools, AI solutions, and data analytics platforms to improve operational efficiency, reporting, and credit assessment processes is an added advantage.
