Corporate Finance Manager (FP&A, Strategic Finance & Capital Planning) – Remote

About the Role

At Pavago, one of our clients is hiring a Corporate Finance Manager to lead financial planning, forecasting, capital allocation, and executive financial analysis for a growing organization.

This is a strategic finance role—not a transactional accounting position. You’ll work closely with executive leadership to provide the financial insights that drive business decisions, optimize capital allocation, and support long-term growth.

Combining FP&A, strategic finance, treasury management, financial modeling, and executive reporting, you’ll build robust financial models, improve forecasting accuracy, evaluate investment opportunities, and deliver actionable recommendations that influence company strategy.

Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Forecasting

• Lead the annual budgeting process across departments and business units.
• Develop and maintain rolling monthly and quarterly forecasts.
• Consolidate financial reporting across multiple entities, business units, or regions.
• Improve forecast accuracy and financial planning visibility.
• Support long-term financial planning initiatives and strategic budgeting.

Strategic Finance & Investment Analysis

• Build advanced financial models including:
• Discounted Cash Flow (DCF)
• Return on Investment (ROI)
• Internal Rate of Return (IRR)
• Net Present Value (NPV)
• Scenario and sensitivity analyses
• Evaluate capital investments, pricing strategies, expansion initiatives, and M&A opportunities.
• Identify opportunities to improve margins, reduce costs, and increase operational efficiency.
• Present data-driven recommendations to executive leadership.

Cash Flow & Treasury Management

• Monitor liquidity, working capital, and cash flow performance.
• Support debt compliance, capital structure planning, and financing strategies.
• Partner with banking institutions, investors, and executive stakeholders.
• Improve treasury reporting and cash flow forecasting processes.

Executive Reporting & Business Insights

• Prepare:
• Board presentations
• Executive reporting packages
• KPI dashboards
• Financial summaries
• Deliver variance analysis and executive commentary.
• Translate complex financial information into clear, actionable business insights.
• Ensure reporting accuracy and compliance with GAAP or IFRS standards.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with Operations, Sales, Product, and Executive teams on strategic initiatives.
• Align financial planning with operational goals and business priorities.
• Support fundraising, investor relations, and strategic finance initiatives.
• Mentor Financial Analysts and junior finance team members.

Process Improvement & Financial Controls

• Improve forecasting workflows, reporting processes, and financial controls.
• Support audits, due diligence activities, and compliance initiatives.
• Enhance reporting scalability through automation and process improvements.
• Drive continuous improvements across finance operations.

Required Experience & Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Corporate Finance, FP&A, Strategic Finance, or Investment Banking.
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills, including:
• Financial modeling
• Scenario planning
• Sensitivity analysis
• Consolidations
• Advanced formulas and automation
• Experience with ERP platforms such as:
• NetSuite
• SAP
• Oracle
• or similar systems
• Proven experience preparing:
• Executive reporting
• Financial models
• Board presentations
• Strong analytical, financial, and strategic problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

Nice to Have

• MBA, CFA, CPA, or equivalent professional qualification.
• Experience supporting:
• M&A transactions
• Fundraising initiatives
• Investor relations
• Capital allocation projects
• Experience with BI and reporting platforms such as:
• Power BI
• Tableau
• Looker
• Background in SaaS, professional services, or multi-entity organizations.
