| We are seeking an experienced QA Lead with strong manual QA practices and automation expertise to support a capital markets platform focused on trade lifecycle and exception management. In this Principal Consultant–level role, you will lead quality engineering efforts, define test strategies, and ensure the reliability of enterprise-grade web applications and data systems. The ideal candidate brings deep knowledge in DTCC processes, post-trade workflows, and trade exception scenarios. Key Responsibilities · Define and implement end-to-end QA strategy for trade lifecycle and exception management systems. · Lead automation testing initiatives for enterprise web applications (UI, API, and backend services). · Design and develop scalable test automation frameworks (UI and API level). · Validate trade workflows, post-trade processing, and exception handling scenarios across systems. · Validate the Trade Exception rules end to end and able test independently. · Perform data validation and reconciliation testing across SQL Server and cloud-native databases. · Ensure accurate ingestion and processing of DTCC data (e.g., RTTM, Settlement workflows). · Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and regression suites aligned with business requirements. · Collaborate with development, data engineering, and DevOps teams to integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines. · Conduct root cause analysis for defects, data discrepancies, and production issues. · Ensure data integrity, consistency, and traceability across systems (including Unified Trade Record concepts). · Mentor QA engineers and enforce best practices in test automation and quality engineering. · Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback from a QA and domain perspective. Required Skills & Qualifications · 13+ years of experience in QA/testing, with significant experience in automation. · Strong domain expertise in capital markets, especially post-trade processing and trade exceptions. · Hands-on experience with DTCC data and workflows (e.g., RTTM, Settlement Web). · Strong experience testing enterprise-grade web applications (UI, APIs, microservices). · Expertise in test automation tools/frameworks · Strong SQL skills with experience in SQL Server (data validation, complex queries, reconciliation). · Experience testing cloud-native applications and databases on AWS and SQL Server based applications on-prem. · Experience validating ETL/ELT pipelines and data ingestion workflows. · Familiarity with CI/CD integration for automated testing (Jenkins, AWS pipelines, etc.). · Strong analytical, debugging, and troubleshooting skills. Preferred Qualifications · Experience with performance and load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling). · Familiarity with message queues and event-driven architectures (MQ, Kafka). · Understanding of ISO 15022 or similar financial messaging standards. · Experience with test data management and synthetic data generation. · Prior consulting or client-facing experience. Soft Skills · Strong leadership and team management capabilities. · Excellent communication and stakeholder interaction skills. · Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and accuracy. · Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. |
