As Wayve rapidly scales, our IT team plays a crucial role in keeping our employees productive and our operations efficient. We’re looking for an IT Support Engineer (TC2) to support the day-to-day IT needs across our Japan offices. This is a full-time, on-site role, with flexibility required to support each of our 3 offices as needed. The Materials Program Manager (Japan) is responsible for end-to-end materials execution for Wayve’s autonomous vehicle and hardware programs in Japan. This includes materials procurement, supplier coordination, CTB readiness, material receiving, secure storage, and outbound shipping, in close partnership with Engineering, Operations, and the global Supply Chain team.
This role ensures that materials flow efficiently from suppliers through receipt, storage, and delivery to workshops or vehicle upfitting locations, while maintaining visibility, cost control, and compliance. The role operates in a fast-paced, Agile environment and plays a critical part in taking early-stage hardware development toward scalable execution.

The Role
The Field Engineer is a hands-on technical contributor responsible for diagnosing and resolving vehicle software and hardware issues to keep the fleet operational. They will play a critical role in rapid fault triage, ensuring a 5-minute response time while strictly adhering to safety protocols. Working closely with fellow engineers and global teams, they will contribute to seamless operations through effective communication and problem solving. As part of a newly established function within Fleet Operations, the Field Engineer will help refine processes and drive efficiency in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.

The role
The Operational Safety Coordinator (OSC) plays a key supporting role in ensuring Wayve’s autonomous vehicle fleet testing is safe, compliant, and well-documented. Reporting to the Operational Safety Manager, the OSC monitors our safety performance, daily risks, supports incident response, maintains safety documentation, and contributes to audits and compliance reviews.
This is a safety-critical role, subject to pre-employment and random drug and alcohol testing. It also requires some out-of-hours availability to support UK operations and flexibility to attend cross-geo meetings online, occasionally outside of UK office hours.
About you
In order to set you up for success as an Operational Safety Co-ordinator at Wayve, we’re looking for the following skills and experience.
Essential:
• 2+ years’ experience in safety, compliance, operations, or coordination.
• Knowledge of ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) and/or autonomous vehicle operations.
• Organised, detail-focused, and proactive in identifying risks.
• Comfortable working with safety data (dashboards, reports, checklists).
• Strong communication skills across teams and disciplines.
Desirable:
• Experience as a Vehicle Safety Operator (VSO), or willingness to undertake VSO familiarisation training.
• Understanding of Human Factors in safety-critical environments.
• Experience with creating dashboards, data analytics and presenting insights to senior leaders and stakeholders.
• Experience supporting safety investigations or audits.

Wayve is building the AI Driver to power autonomous mobility at global scale. As we deploy robotaxi services with leading partners, we are hiring a Strategic Partnerships Manager to help scale our commercial ecosystem in London and Tokyo. This is a high-impact role at the intersection of autonomy, mobility platforms, and automotive OEMs — focused on enabling safe, scalable L4 deployment.
