We are seeking a Specialist, Expense Compliance, to join our Shared Services team in the Accounting and Tax department. This position will report to the Manager, Travel & Expense, Shared Services and be located in the Arlington, VA headquarters office.

The position supports the Venture Global Travel & Expense (T&E) program by reviewing employee expense reports for accuracy and policy compliance.  This role focuses on detailed review, documentation validation, and consistent application of company policy, assisting employees with questions related to expense reports, travel reservations, and training on the Concur booking tool.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, process-driven, and comfortable working in a structured, fast paced and high-volume environment.

Responsibilities:

• Expense Review & Compliance Oversight

• Review employee expense reports in Concur for accuracy, completeness and compliance with company policy
• Verify receipt documentation and proper itemization
• Confirm accurate expense cost coding and business purpose descriptions
• Return reports requiring corrections to employees with clear and concise instructions
• Identify duplicate, excessive, or out-of-policy transactions
• Ensure timely processing within established internal service level agreements

• Policy Support

• Fully understand and consistently apply the Travel & Expense policy requirements
• Escalate unusual or repeat non-compliance issues to Manager, Travel & Expense
• Support corporate card compliance monitoring
• Assist with identifying and raising questionable or improper transactions

• Administrative & Reporting Support

• Track and report on the team’s KPI metrics – timely expense report submissions, manager approvals, and other key performance indicators
• Analyze expense data for spending trends, potential misuse, and cost savings
• Assist with expense report review backlog management
• Support external audit documentation requests as needed
• Help maintain internal procedure documentation

• Employee Support

• Respond to employee questions regarding expense report submission requirements and processes
• Provide guidance on receipt documentation and policy interpretation
• Support employee training initiatives on the Concur booking tool and corporate policy compliance as assigned

• Collaborate and trouble shoot on issues with Concur and the travel management company as needed

• Other duties as required and assigned

Qualifications:

• Experience in travel and expense report auditing and compliance in a Concur or similar T&E platform is a plus
• Ability to apply the corporate travel policy objectively and professionally
• Ability to organize and plan work effectively to meet goals and objectives
• Fundamental understanding of internal controls and financial compliance principles
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to manage repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook and other Microsoft suite programs
• Ability to work independently within defined guidelines
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

We are looking for a Manager, Tax (Fixed Assets) to join our Accounting & Tax department. This position will be located in Arlington, VA. The Manager, Tax will be responsible for managing the fixed assets ledger for tax purposes and support tax compliance, provision, and tax planning projects for our operations in the U.S. and international locations. The position will report to the Director, Tax and work closely with various teams to carry out some of the responsibilities described below.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the fixed assets capitalization process and maintain the Tax Fixed Assets Ledger using fixed assets software
• Prepare and maintain reconciliations and documentation related to fixed assets GAAP/Tax differences that impact the ASC 740 tax provision
• Maintain cost capitalization calculations for Section 263(a), mixed service costs, and capitalized interest
• Assist with preparation of quarterly and annual tax provision, including financial statement disclosures
• Work with general ledger, financial reporting and technical accounting teams to gain an understanding of GAAP treatment for cost capitalization and depreciation to ensure appropriate tax return positions
• Identify and support strategies to optimize tax depreciation processes
• Support property tax and tax incentive compliance
• Stay abreast of revisions to various income tax laws and other authority and manage the impacts to fixed assets and depreciation
• Mentor and train junior team members to develop their skills and knowledge in fixed assets and tax depreciation
• Support other special projects and compliance initiatives, as needed

Qualifications:

• Advanced understanding of tax depreciation rules (Federal and State)
• Intermediate understanding of US tax cost capitalization rules
• Utilize a pro-active problem solving mindset to achieve business and tax objectives.
• Have a strong work ethic and be comfortable working with evolving priorities.
• Must be able to operate effectively and accurately in a deadline-driven fast-paced environment
• 5+ years tax experience in Big 4 public accounting firm, corporate tax department of multinational company, or combination thereof
• Master’s degree in an accounting discipline preferred
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Strong Excel knowledge with a drive to automate processes
• Familiarity with AI tools and SAP is a plus
• Discretion in dealing with confidential material

We are seeking a Senior Accountant, Financial Reporting. The role will report to the Director of Financial Reporting and will be based out of Arlington, VA. This role is cross-functional within Venture Global LNG and requires excellent communication with stakeholders across all levels of the organization. The ideal candidate will be able to prioritize and manage multiple activities in a timely manner and with a high degree of accuracy.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare the interim and annual financial reporting packages, which includes the preparation, review and filing of financial statements, including statement of cash flows, footnote disclosures, and analysis of results of operations;
• Prepare disclosure checklists to ensure financial statements and footnote disclosures are in compliance with applicable requirements;
• Prepare financial statement tie out packages;
• Provide technical support on accounting disclosure issues to ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements;
• Comply with internal controls for internal and external reporting processes (SOX), including documentation of policies around disclosure controls and internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR);
• Assist in the implementation of new accounting requirements or disclosure requirements in coordination with the technical accounting team and external auditors;
• Assist with Company’s review of transactions for accounting implications to determine reporting and disclosure requirements;
• Other duties as required and assigned

Qualifications:

• Current CPA designation
• 4+ years of related experience (SEC experience is a plus)
• Knowledge of SEC reporting and US GAAP
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• In-depth understanding of current reporting matters
• Superior attention to detail and ability to consistently meet deadlines
• Experience with Workiva Wdesk platform is a plus
• XBRL experience is a plus
• Experience with SAP and Group Reporting is a plus
