BRANCH MANAGER

The Branch Manager oversees daily showroom operations, leads the sales team, ensures excellent customer service, and upholds company policies. This role is responsible for achieving sales goals, maintaining operational efficiency, and fostering a positive client experience.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Lead the sales team by setting goals, monitoring performance, and providing support with high-profile clients and complex transactions.

• Train, coach, and evaluate staff to maintain high standards in client service and sales performance.
• Monitor sales activity and open orders; ensure proper CRM usage and follow-up on all customer interactions and quotes.
• Coordinate client visits, ensuring representatives are prepared with the appropriate materials and follow-up is conducted to maximize opportunities.
• Maintain showroom presentation and cleanliness, ensuring daily checklists and visual standards are met.
• Oversee front desk operations and ensure proper handling of calls, visitors, and sample shipments.
• Collaborate with operations teams to manage product displays, transfers, sample inventory, and delivery coordination.
• Address customer concerns professionally and escalate unresolved issues to the Regional Sales Manager.
• Attend industry events to build relationships and generate new business.
• Enforce company policies on orders, pricing, returns, and customer service standards.
• Assist with recruiting, onboarding, scheduling, and general team support, including Saturday rotations and PTO coverage.
• Ensure branch has adequate supplies and maintains a client-ready environment.
• Provide input on monthly sales forecasting and branch performance metrics.

Minimum Qualifications

• 3–5 years of sales experience in the stone or tile industry; supervisory or management experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree in business or related field preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Organizational and time management ability to handle shifting priorities and deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required for travel to client sites or events.
• Ability to work Saturdays and extended hours as needed.

Work Environment

• Primarily showroom and office-based with occasional exposure to warehouse conditions (e.g., noise, dust, temperature variations).
• May engage with irate customers or handle issues in warehouse and customer-facing spaces.
• Interacts regularly with internal departments, clients, and vendors.

Physical Demands

• Regular use of computer, telephone, and standard office equipment.
• Periods of sitting, walking, or standing throughout the day.
• Occasional lifting or carrying of materials up to 20 lbs.
• Travel within the local region may be required for meetings, visits, or events.

Work Schedule
Standard work hours are typically between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM. This position requires schedule flexibility, including availability to work some Saturdays and, occasionally, Sundays, based on business needs or special events.

OVERVIEW
It is the primary responsibility of this position to coordinate and manage the customer ordering process. This includes but is not limited to creating order acknowledgements, posting signed order acknowledgements and payments to individual orders, communicating with customers on deliveries and backorders, and answering general order/material questions. Moreover, below details additional responsibilities related to maintaining the customer relationship, as well a general office responsibility.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Processing order acknowledgements from inception, recording approval documents on order acknowledgements, accepting payment if applicable, and setting delivery of product.
• Attracts potential customers by answering product and service questions; suggesting information about other products and services.
• Maintains customer records by updating account information.
• Resolves product or service problems by clarifying the customer’s complaint; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting correction or adjustment; following up to ensure resolution.
• Provide clerical and administrative support as necessary.
• Provide showroom support by assisting with customer selection as necessary.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Requires occasional lifting up to 25 pounds. Must be able to multitask and complete tasks. Must have ability to be work in both an office and warehouse setting Requires occasional exposure to outdoor weather conditions. 

REQUIREMENTS/EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• High school Diploma/GED
• Bilingual preferable
• Ability to type 30-35 words per minute
• Computer skills: Microsoft Office, Outlook

POSITION OVERVIEW
The A & D Representative maintains and expands relationships with assigned account base customers, with intentions to maximize sales/profit for every account and most importantly to expand CR market penetration within the assigned area.

The A & D Representative represents the entire range of company products and services to assigned customers, while leading the customer account planning cycle and ensuring assigned customers’ needs and expectations are met by the company.

This position will be required to build and sustain productive relationships and partnerships with current customers and prospects to grow sales and to expand CR penetration with Designers, Architects and Builders’ segments.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Establishes productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts.
• Coordinates the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, in order to meet account performance objectives and customers’ expectations.
• Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned accounts
• Proactively leads a joint company account planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones for a one and three-year period.
• Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates customer needs on an ongoing basis.
• Develops a sales action plan to service accounts with high growth potential, collect strategic “intel”, and develop leads from existing account base to better infiltrate designers, architects, and builder’s as potential customers.
• Participates actively with local professional organizations linked with CR's tactics and strategies.
• Creates and executes specific plan to introduce and implement CR products in showrooms, A & D Representative accounts to create demand within the market. Expand Pompeii brand penetration assigning more displays to qualified customers/locations.
• Leads solution development efforts that best address customer needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company personnel.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Achieves assigned sales quota in designated strategic accounts.
• Meets assigned expectations for profitability.
• Achieves customer objectives defined by company management.
• Completes customer account plans that meet company standards.
• Closely coordinates company executive involvement with customer management.
• Works closely with Customer Service Representatives to ensure customer satisfaction and problem resolution
• Meets quarterly target expectations as far as CR- Display program once posted
• Visits every customer, with displays at least once per month, with mandatory report visits via email to Director of Sales.
• Strategizes, organizes assigned territory/region and plan sales calls weekly.
• Develops an action plan to approach designers, architects and builders, once fabricator leads are found during weekly visits.
• Promotes and executes product knowledge (PKs) at customer’s location and if possible, invite customers to visit one of CR's branches.
• Actively participates and leverages branch events as ways to increase sales.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree or proven track record of at least 10 years-experience in sales and marketing is required.
• Prefer knowledge and experience in the building material industry, in some capacity.
• Have the ability to develop a comprehensive understanding of CR's competitors, including their capabilities, past competitive history, and can assist in developing a plan to beat them!
• Must be detail-oriented and highly organized with a hunter mentality in the approach to developing and executing strategic plans.
• Must have the skills to discover, create, and develop new opportunities.
• Requires excellent verbal communication and writing skills, but more importantly the desire, ability, and competitiveness to succeed.
• Minimum 50% Travel on a regional basis to cover territory.
