What You’ll Do 

• Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment quickly and thoroughly 
• Keep floors, surfaces, and bins clean following set routines 
• Make sure all kitchen areas, including storage and prep spaces, stay spotless 
• Help the kitchen team with basic tasks when needed – from unloading deliveries to organizing stock 
• Keep kitchen tools and equipment where they belong to support an efficient workflow 
• Follow hygiene and food safety rules like HACCP 
• Handle cleaning materials and gear safely and responsibly 
• Spot and report any issues or hazards right away 

What You’ll Have 

• No experience needed, we’ll train you 
• Some experience in a cleaning or support role is a plus 
• Comfortable working in a busy, active environment on your feet 
• A team player mindset with a positive, flexible attitude

As our brand-new Meeting & Events Coordinator Intern, you support in driving commercial results for all our revenue streams and coordinate the Meeting & Event bookings for our locations Amsterdam City and Amsterdam West.

No one does it better when it comes to selling the TSH concept and all of our products and services to our guests. You’ll make sure that people will easily find us and come to connect in our hotel to experience our ‘one of a kind’, unique spaces. You’ll be working to sell our meeting rooms, our awesome hotel rooms or a fabulous dinner at our restaurant. On top of that, your goal is to make each guest return and you do this by delivering the best TSH guest-experience.

What You’ll Do:

• You’ll assist with answering questions and making bookings for our Commercial Partnerships. This happens through various channels such as: telephone, third parties and e-mails.
• You’ll help with the development of customer accounts to drive business into TSH Amsterdam properties and to increase market/customer share in all revenue streams.
• You’ll work within current business strategies and recognizing potential opportunities.
• From admin to hosting, you’ll do it all. You’ll prepare, update and file all correspondence.
• You’ll prepare the meeting & events functions sheet with completed final and accurate details for our banqueting department.
• You’ll host meetings together with the banqueting department/stakeholders.
• You’re responsible for maintaining an effective follow-up system to secure business and provide an after sales service in order to secure repeat business.
• You’ll assist our heroes in Finance to ensure a smooth ride - from invoicing down to payments.
• You’ll compile statistics and reporting for our cluster management and commercial teams.
• You’ll support with the creation and roll out of the local commercial strategy.

• You’ll be enrolled in the university for the entire duration of the internship
• You’re fluent in Dutch and English with excellent communications skills (verbal as well as written).
• You have a positive, can-do attitude towards working within a team.
• You’re highly organised and with a high level of attention to detail.

You know everything about our products and how to (cross-)sell these to our guests. Grandmother is an all day cafe serving serving sandwiches, baked goods and delicious meals inspired by everyone’s favourite Grandmother. The Clubhouse is the all-day heart of The Social Hub. A busy, social kitchen serving modern club classics from breakfast through to late night, built around quality produce, familiar dishes done properly, and a fast, friendly service culture. It’s a place where chefs cook food people genuinely want to eat, every day.

You’ll oversee kitchen operations across multiple outlets and event spaces, ensuring every dish meets the highest quality standards and every service runs smoothly. What You’ll Do

• Lead and inspire the kitchen (management)team to deliver memorable dining experiences across all outlets and event operations.
• Design and continuously evolve menus in collaboration with the Regional Head Chef and F&B leadership.
• Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations, ensuring quality, consistency, and efficient service delivery.
• Implement and maintain strong kitchen systems for prep, workflow, hygiene, and inventory control.
• Manage staffing schedules and team development to ensure productivity and team wellbeing.
• Control food costs, labor, and inventory while maintaining menu quality and guest satisfaction.
• Implement waste reduction initiatives and track food waste to improve sustainability and efficiency.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure fresh, local, and sustainable sourcing.
• Work closely with events and F&B teams to ensure seamless execution of catering and special events.
• Engage with guests when possible, gathering feedback and continuously improving culinary experiences.

What You’ll Have

• Minimum 3 years’ experience as Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef with full responsibility for kitchen operations in a busy, high-quality environment.
• Strong expertise in menu creation, kitchen leadership, and multi-outlet or high-volume operations.
• Proven experience leading teams, coaching talent, and fostering collaboration and performance.
• Strong financial understanding, including budgeting, food cost control, labour management, and P&L awareness.
• A creative mindset with a passion for hospitality and memorable guest experiences.
• Calmness under pressure, decisiveness, and a hands-on, solution-oriented approach.
• Fluency in English; Dutch language skills are a strong plus, and additional languages are welcome.
