Do you have a passion for food and a hunger to grow your kitchen skills? As a Commis at The Social Hub, you’ll be the right hand to our senior chefs, supporting everything from mise-en-place to plating up the final dish. This role is all about learning on the job. Perfect for culinary school grads or entry-level pros ready to dive into a fast-paced, collaborative kitchen. 

You’ll work alongside a talented and supportive team, gaining hands-on experience and building the foundations for a solid culinary career. From daily prep to service rushes, your effort will be key to creating delicious guest experiences. What You’ll Do 

• Assist with food preparation, mise-en-place, and kitchen setup across sections. 
• Follow recipes and directions closely, delivering dishes with accuracy and consistency. 
• Support plating during service, keeping things fast, clean, and delicious. 
• Work closely with senior chefs and kitchen porters to keep the kitchen running smoothly. 
• Help with cleaning routines and follow hygiene standards to the letter. 
• Store and label ingredients properly while helping to manage food stock and rotation. 
• Maintain a tidy station and pitch in wherever needed. 
• Uphold all health and safety practices. 

What You’ll Have 

• Some experience in a professional kitchen, or recently completed culinary school. 
• Basic knowledge of kitchen tools, cooking techniques, and hygiene practices. 
• A strong work ethic: reliable, on time, and ready to roll up your sleeves. 
• A learning mindset: open to feedback and eager to improve. 
• A team-first attitude with respectful communication. 
• A sense of pride in supporting food quality and the guest experience. 
• Fluency in German & English!

As our Front Office Manager, you lead the team that sets the tone for every stay. You bring energy, structure and warmth to the front desk, turning arrivals into moments that feel personal and check-outs into reasons to return. You guide your Hosts and Supervisors, help them grow, and shape a vibe that guests instantly feel when they walk in. You keep operations smooth, make smart decisions on the fly and lift the guest journey from good to unforgettable. You’re the person who spots opportunities, solves problems and brings people together. • Solve challenges on the spot and keep the guest journey smooth 
• Oversee schedules, daily operations and all front desk processes 
• Connect with other departments so service feels seamless from start to finish 
• Spot upsell moments and make smart decisions to boost occupancy and revenue 

What You’ll Have 

• You have 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in hospitality 
• You bring sharp people skills and know how to motivate different personalities 
• You have a creative, problem-solving mindset and enjoy improving how things work 
• You bring strong communication skills in English and the local language 
• You have an eye for organisation and love when processes run smoothly 
• You stay calm when things get busy and turn pressure into smart action 
• You bring basic financial understanding and feel comfortable reading numbers and trends

Es erwartet Dich sehr abwechslungsreiche und interessante Jahre. Du wirst  während der Ausbildung unter anderem die Abteilungen Service, Küche, Housekeeping, Veranstaltung, Front Office und Sales durchlaufen und kennenlernen. Neben Deiner praktischen Ausbildung besuchst  Du die Berufsschule und nimmst zusätzlich regelmäßig an innerbetrieblichen Schulungen in allen für Deinen Ausbildungsberuf relevanten – und für Dich wichtigen - Themen teil.

Lässig aber immer korrekt im Umgang mit dem Gast - Von A wie Abrechnung, B wie Pünktlichkeit, C wie Check-in ... bis Z wie Zimmerservice lernst Du in Deiner Ausbildung (bzw. seinem Studium) alle Abteilungen vor und hinter den Kulissen kennen und legst den Grundstein für eine steile Karriere im Hotelbusiness.
