Terran Orbital is seeking an experienced Environmental Test Technician to join our dynamic team. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Environmental Test Technician will be responsible for environmental test processes for a wide range of components/modules, as well as spacecraft level vibration and thermal vacuum testing. This role will assist with the installation of equipment, operation and maintenance of vibrations tables, vacuum chambers, and other test equipment, process documentation and controls, and performing testing and certification of the test equipment. Additionally, this role will support spacecraft build and testing as time allows between environmental test scheduling.
This role is on our Weekday shift (Monday - Thursday) from 6:00AM - 4:30PM.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Assemble, instrument, and test satellite flight hardware throughout development and Production.
- Monitor and assess test equipment and test hardware performance throughout production and qualification campaigns.
- Activate, evaluate, monitor, and maintain space simulation test equipment (Thermal, Thermal Vacuum, HASS / HALT, Vibration, Shock).
- Assembly, activation, and troubleshooting of custom test racks and automated equipment that interfaces with Flight Hardware.
- Work with engineering and facilities to plan, build, and activate test equipment.
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair instrumentation and harnessing, including pressure transducers, flowmeters, temperature sensors, accelerometers, and strain gauges.
- Performs functions that include test troubleshooting, basic equipment maintenance, coordination with test engineers, and engagement with management on daily test activities.
- Clean machines, equipment, and work areas according to site standard practices and management guidance.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent with at least 3 years of experience in Environmental Testing (Thermal, Vibrational, Vacuum, HAAS/HALT, Shock)
- Extensive experience with Vibration tables and Thermal vacuum chambers.
- Knowledge/experience in manufacturing and test processes and procedures.
- Strong ability to comprehend technical work instructions.
- Experience with drawings, shop orders, and detailed work instructions.
- Strong understanding with test electronic, hydrostatic, and pneumatic test equipment.
- Proficient with various types of gages, instruments and measuring devices.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with software systems, databases, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- High attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Overhead crane and rigging experience.
- Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems, Non-conformance systems, Ticketed request systems and order scheduling systems.
- Experience using and maintaining calibrated equipment.
- Ability to accurately distinguish a wide range of colors, which is essential for success in this role
- U.S. Citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain DoD security clearance.

Terran Orbital is seeking an experienced Staff Supplier Quality Engineer to join our dynamic team. Reporting to the Director, Quality, the Staff Supplier Quality Engineer will be responsible for managing supplier programs for manufacturing and other operational processes and ensuring that quality programs comply with customer and regulatory requirements.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct supplier audits and manage supplier corrective actions requests
- Manage Supplier Quality Manual and Supplier Quality Requirements documents, ensuring compliance with AS9100 and AS9145 standards as applicable.
- Maintain and update Approved Supplier List (ASL), including approval status and scope.
- Develop, maintain and review supplier performance metrics such as product quality, process capability, and on-time delivery.
- Manage supplier Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and coordinate corrective actions.
- Perform First Article Inspections (FAI) per AS9102 and oversee receiving inspection routing.
- Conduct supplier audits and manage Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCARs).
- Ability to travel and visit suppliers (25% - 50% travel).
- Perform supplier risk assessments and implement mitigation plans.
- Utilize advanced quality tools such as PPAP, PFMEA, and SPC for process validation and improvement.
- Track and report supplier KPIs including PPM (Parts Per Million), OTD (On-Time Delivery), and cost of poor quality.
- Collaborate with Procurement, Subcontracts and Engineering teams to ensure proper flow-down of requirements and quality standards so supplier and subcontractors.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in supplier quality within aerospace or defense manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of AS9100, AS9145, and related quality standards.
- Proficiency in PPAP, PFMEA, SPC, and risk management methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, verbal and written communication, and problem-solving skills.

Reporting to the Manager, Systems Integration & Test the Sr. Systems Integration Engineer will work within a multidisciplinary team to build, integrate, and test space vehicles at both the sub-system and system levels.
This role is on our Weekend Shift (Friday-Sunday) from 6:00AM – 7:00PM.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Design vehicle assembly process and procedures
- Design and develop tools and hardware to enable vehicle assembly and ensure vehicle testing abilities
- Develop full testing campaigns ensuring vehicle integrity of electronic and mechanical systems
- Vehicle integration build flow and test concept of operations
- Evaluate proposed designs for manufacturability and integration into sub-systems
- Interface with engineers and technicians to advance to larger-scale manufacturing and automation
- Develop and refine manufacturing assembly procedures based on lessons learned to mature status
- Responsible for enabling day-to-day execution of the vehicle integration and test flow
- Manage work orders and drive non-conformances into actionable items and system improvements
- Resolve Electrical and Mechanical issue debugging at the satellite system and sub-system level
- The position will require being hands-on and will require standing for extended periods
Requirements
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline
- 5+ years of experience as a test or manufacturing engineer supporting highly integrated cross-disciplinary assembly operations, with hands-on technical experience
- U.S. Citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain DoD security clearance

Reporting to the Production Supervisor the AIT Technician – Vehicle Integration will responsible for the hands-on manufacturing and assembly of sub-assemblies essential for spacecraft vehicle integration. - Follow detailed procedures to assemble complex electronic and mechanical modules.
- Operate hand tools such as screwdrivers, torque wrenches, and light power tools.
- Ability to quickly change priority while working in a fast-paced environment.
- Communicate statuses, issues, and suggestions effectively to the support engineering team.
- Updating documentation and hardware statuses through online services.
- Basic avionics and the electrical troubleshooting.
- Assist in spacecraft integration related activities.
- Must possess a strong work ethic, be able to work with limited supervision, and meet the requirements of the attendance policy.
- Must perform all functions of the job in a safe and professional manner.
- Must keep work area(s) in a neat, clean, safe, and orderly condition.
- Ability to stand for most of the working day.
- Perform miscellaneous lab duties, including kitting, inventory, and organization tasks.

- Proficiency with Windows 10, Microsoft Office products, and internet browser applications

- Knowledge of soldering tools and practices (J-STD-001 certification preferred but not required)
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Familiarity with cleanroom cleanliness standards and ESD precautions
- Must have excellent visual acuity to perform detailed inspections and quality control tasks

You’ll partner closely with Engineering, ME, Production, Quality, and Supply Chain to translate cutting-edge designs into efficient, scalable, high-yield production systems. - Capacity Planning and Modeling
- Develop and implement end-to-end capacity and resource models across manufacturing (CMG and AIT)
- Partner with Manufacturing Engineering (ME), Production, and Planning to define labor standards, cycle times, and constraints
- Identify bottlenecks and develop actionable plans to improve throughput and resource utilization
- Establish and maintain a rough-cut and detailed capacity planning process aligned with SIOP
- Drive scenario modeling to support demand variability, ramp plans, and NPI

- Act as a bridge between engineering and operations to ensure manufacturability and execution alignment

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations/Supply Chain Management, or related field
- 8+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, with increasing responsibility
- Proven experience developing capacity models and resource planning framework
- Demonstrated success leading cross-functional operational initiatives
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset
- Experience working directly with production teams and manufacturing engineering
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and drive structure
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence across all levels of the organization
- U.S. Citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain DoD security clearance
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
- Experience in high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environments (aerospace/defense preferred)
- Hands-on experience leading Kaizen events and continuous improvement initiatives
- Working knowledge of Lean manufacturing and 6S implementation
- Experience with yield improvement root cause corrective action methodologies
- Prior involvement in production ramp, scale-up, or facility/plant relocation
- Experience implementing or supporting SIOP processes
- Background in organizations transitioning from R&D to production
- Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and implementation

Terran Orbital is seeking an experienced Sr. Systems Integration Engineer to join our dynamic team. Reporting to the Manager, Systems Integration & Test the Sr. Systems Integration Engineer will work within a multidisciplinary team to build, integrate, and test space vehicles at both the sub-system and system levels.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Design vehicle assembly process and procedures
- Design and develop tools and hardware to enable vehicle assembly and ensure vehicle testing abilities
- Develop full testing campaigns ensuring vehicle integrity of electronic and mechanical systems
- Vehicle integration build flow and test concept of operations
- Evaluate proposed designs for manufacturability and integration into sub-systems
- Interface with engineers and technicians to advance to larger-scale manufacturing and automation
- Develop and refine manufacturing assembly procedures based on lessons learned to mature status
- Responsible for enabling day-to-day execution of the vehicle integration and test flow
- Manage work orders and drive non-conformances into actionable items and system improvements
- Resolve Electrical and Mechanical issue debugging at the satellite system and sub-system level
- The position will require being hands-on and will require standing for extended periods
Requirements
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline
- 5+ years of experience as a test or manufacturing engineer supporting highly integrated cross-disciplinary assembly operations, with hands-on technical experience
- U.S. Citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain DoD security clearance
Additional Differentiators
- Master's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline
- Experience with build integration and testing of propulsion, thermal, electrical, and structural systems, including, but not limited to, vibration, shock, thermal, vacuum, and radiation testing
- Experience with electrical debugging of PCB Assemblies, including the ability to read electrical schematics
- Documentation and configuration management experience
- Experience writing test plans and procedures and providing go/no-go judgment
- Experience in a production environment within the aerospace industry
- Experience working in a laboratory setting, particularly a cleanroom with ESD precautions
- The ability to read and write basic code in any primary programming language
- Experience using Linux-based operating systems

Terran Orbital is seeking an experienced AIT Technician – Vehicle Integration to join our dynamic team. Reporting to the Production Supervisor the AIT Technician – Vehicle Integration will responsible for the hands-on manufacturing and assembly of sub-assemblies essential for spacecraft vehicle integration. The ideal candidate should possess a keen understanding of quality control and AS-9100 standards.
This role is on our Weekend shift (Friday - Sunday) from 6:00AM - 7:00PM
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Follow detailed procedures to assemble complex electronic and mechanical modules.
- Operate hand tools such as screwdrivers, torque wrenches, and light power tools.
- Ability to quickly change priority while working in a fast-paced environment.
- Communicate statuses, issues, and suggestions effectively to the support engineering team.
- Updating documentation and hardware statuses through online services.
- Basic avionics and the electrical troubleshooting.
- Assist in spacecraft integration related activities.
- Must possess a strong work ethic, be able to work with limited supervision, and meet the requirements of the attendance policy.
- Must perform all functions of the job in a safe and professional manner.
- Must keep work area(s) in a neat, clean, safe, and orderly condition.
- Ability to stand for most of the working day.
- Perform miscellaneous lab duties, including kitting, inventory, and organization tasks.

Qualifications and Skills
- High school diploma or GED
- 2+ years of professional experience working hands-on as a technician within electromechanical assembly or spacecraft/spacecraft hardware manufacturing
- Experience with wire harness routing and/or space flight integration.
- Ability to read, understand and follow detailed work instructions for assembly and testing flight product including blueprints and schematic drawings
- Proficiency with Windows 10, Microsoft Office products, and internet browser applications
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of soldering tools and practices (J-STD-001 certification preferred but not required)
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Familiarity with cleanroom cleanliness standards and ESD precautions
- Must have excellent visual acuity to perform detailed inspections and quality control tasks
- Ability to accurately distinguish a wide range of colors, which is essential for success in this role
