Reusable systems are the key to seamlessly connecting Earth and space. Structural analysis is at the heart of making parts, assemblies, and systems last for thousands of uses. As a Structural Analyst at Stoke, you will be responsible for performing comprehensive strength, stability, and lifting analysis of various launch vehicle and engine components. You will work closely with Responsible Engineers (REs) in a truly hardware rich environment to improve the structural integrity of their parts and develop qualification rationale and test plans.
This role presents a unique opportunity to work on aerospace structures across different systems. This role is applicable to analysts who specialize in either launch vehicles or propulsion systems or analysts with (or desiring) broad experience across both. Fully reusable launch vehicles are the key to seamlessly connecting Earth and space. As an aerospace Structures Design Engineer on this launch vehicle, you will own the design, analysis, and first build of various components on the rocket. The pressurized and unpressurized structures, thrust structures, load path definition, and secondary structures are all a part of what our team works on. We are still a small team with lofty goals, so you will own a significant amount of scope within the Structures sub-system and will work with engineers and technicians across multiple disciplines while doing your work. Fully reusable launch vehicles are the key to seamlessly connecting Earth and space. Building a fully reusable launch system with a small team requires high levels of ownership and accountability. This is the key to Stoke’s success.
Whether you are a structures RE, turbopump RE, machinist, welder, test RE, integration technician, or Stage RE, you need to understand how your work fits into the larger company products and own the execution of the tasks assigned to them. This includes knowing where your ownership ends and where someone else’s starts, ensuring minimal overlap and no gaps.
As a Stage Integration RE at Stoke, you are responsible for the technical and programmatic execution for all pre-ship integration and test operations of the stage. You will be expected to fully understand and own the stage’s integration from design through end of life and will work with all subsystems to ensure the stage is fully functional. There are no fences and accountability ultimately lies with the RE who owns the technical scope and programmatic execution at each level of the product.

As an Engines Test Lead, you will have extreme ownership over all aspects of the engine test program for a 100% reusable rocket engine designed to fly daily.
You will own the development and qualification test program for our Andromeda LH2/LOX expander cycle engine from development through flight, from component level testing through fully integrated engine hotfires. As a Senior Structures Design Engineer on this launch vehicle, you will provide technical leadership and help build engineering guidelines for the design of pressurized structures, primary structures, thrust structures, secondary structure and load path definition. You will also be a Responsible Engineer for significant sub-systems on our vehicles which will require owning a hardware project from requirements definition, through development, design, analysis, build, test, integration onto the vehicle, and flight. We are a small and motivated team, and you will need to work across disciplines with engineers and technicians to get the job done. As an Avionics Integration Technician your role will be a fundamental part of the production process for the avionics system from end-to-end.
