This role:
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Database Administrator (DBA) and enterprise application architect to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will bring over fifteen years of hands-on expertise in Oracle Database Administration, MS SQL Server, and multi-platform enterprise application environments such as Oracle, SAP, JDEdwards, on different operating systems including Linux/Unix and Windows. This role also requires deep technical knowledge of application architecture, datacenter infrastructure, including networking, virtualization, and enterprise storage systems. The Senior DBA and architect will play a key role in architecting and designing database and infrastructure solutions, providing day-to-day operational support, and leading technical delivery of complex projects to support our enterprise applications.
What you'll be doing:
- Architect and design scalable, secure, and high-performance database solutions across Oracle and MS SQL Server platforms.
- Lead the architecture and integration of database systems with datacenter technologies including networking, virtualization, and storage.
- Provide day-to-day support for production, development, and test database environments, ensuring optimal performance and uptime.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, application, and security teams to align database and datacenter strategies with business goals.
- Lead the technical delivery of database and infrastructure projects, including upgrades, migrations, and consolidations.
- Develop and enforce database standards, best practices, and security policies.
- Perform capacity planning, performance tuning, and disaster recovery planning.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across database, OS, network, and storage layers.
- Ensure core enterprise applications are performing at optimal speeds and are fully backed up and redundant.
- Mentor junior DBAs and technology managers to serve as a subject matter expert across all IT teams.

Senior Desktop Engineer and Executive Support
Overall: The Senior Desktop Engineer and Executive Support serves as the primary Endpoint Manager, responsible for managing all endpoint devices using Microsoft Intune and SCCM to ensure security, compliance, and optimal performance. This role requires deep expertise in Windows operating systems, including registry management, Autopilot, Active Directory (AD), and group policies. The position emphasizes endpoint security, efficient deployment strategies, and enterprise device reliability. Additionally, the Senior Desktop Engineer acts as the on-site technical expert at our Global Headquarters in Parsippany, NJ, providing white-glove IT support to executive leadership and efficient IT support to corporate employees on-site and remotely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Endpoint & Device Management:
- Serve as the primary Endpoint Engineer, managing endpoints with Intune and SCCM.
- Develop, design and support our desktop image, autopilot deployment scripts, and group policies to fully control, secure, and manage our desktop and workstation environments.
- Oversee application deployment for Win32, MSI, and line-of-business apps.
- Monitor device health, troubleshoot, and resolve issues proactively.
- Windows Operating System Expertise:
- Manage Windows OS, including registry settings, updates, and servicing models.
- Create and manage GPOs for user and device configurations.
- Administer endpoints in Active Directory and Azure AD.
- Troubleshoot advanced OS issues, including performance and compatibility.
- Security and Compliance:
- Manage endpoint security tools (Defender, BitLocker, AppLocker).
- Ensure compliance with frameworks like NIST and ISO 27001.
- Configure Conditional Access policies integrated with Intune and Azure AD.
- Executive & VIP Support:
- Provide white-glove IT support to executive leadership.
- Quickly resolve critical issues and act as a trusted advisor for VIP users.
- Corporate IT Support:
- Resolve technical issues for on-site and remote corporate employees.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software problems efficiently.
- Automation and Scripting
- Use PowerShell to automate endpoint tasks, app packaging, and deployments.
- Develop scripts to improve efficiency and resolve recurring issues.
- Audio/Visual & Collaboration Tools:
- Manage AV systems, including Teams Rooms, for events and meetings.
- Test and monitor AV readiness and support high-profile events.
- Ensure seamless integration of M365 tools like Teams and OneDrive.
- Incident & Problem Management:
- Serve as the primary interface to Microsoft for Windows and desktop-related issues.
- Provide Level 3/4 support, collaborating with IT teams and vendors.
- Identify recurring problems and implement long-term solutions.
- Infrastructure & Networking:
- Maintain local network infrastructure and perform server administration to ensure the reliability, security, and optimal performance of critical IT systems.
- Project Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate users, including executive leadership
- Lead endpoint refreshes, rollouts, and migrations.
- Work with teams to implement new endpoint policies and technologies.
Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (Preferred) in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Certifications (Preferred): Microsoft Certified (Endpoint, M365, Azure, and/or Teams), ITIL Foundation; CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+
- 8+ years of experience in IT support roles, with at least 3+ years focused on endpoint management using Intune and SCCM
- Extensive expertise in:
- Microsoft Intune: Enrollment, compliance policies, Autopilot, and Conditional Access.
- SCCM: Imaging, application packaging, and software/patch deployment.
- Windows OS: Registry, updates, GPOs, Active Directory, and troubleshooting.
- Endpoint security tools: Windows Defender, BitLocker, AppLocker.
- Strong PowerShell scripting skills for automation and efficiency.
- Strong knowledge of networking, including DNS, DHCP, and VPN for endpoint connectivity.
- Experience with ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools, and remote support technologies
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to handle high-pressure situations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience supporting executives
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

In addition to base pay, employees are eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan and employee ownership plan. Salary Range – New Jersey

This role:
As the Senior Quality Systems Application Analyst, you will play a critical role in enhancing the user experiences with cloud-based quality related applications and ensuring our integrated enterprise solution for the organization. Your responsibilities will include a variety of duties related to the integration, administration, upgrade, testing and support of Quality Systems enterprise software applications. Your ability to translate the requirements of our internal customers into robust solutions will be essential in this role.
The responsibilities:
- Provides technical project leadership in the planning, design, development, testing, and implementation of application software.
- Conducts software application testing and other preparation for software upgrades or new software implementation
- Monitors, analyzes, plans, and assists end-users with the implementation of new software releases and upgrades.
- Researches system enhancements and executes implementation.
- Conducts database analysis; researches and analyzes problems with applications and resolves or formulates solutions.
- Provides leadership in problem solving, which requires the consideration of the IT strategic plan and short term goals, the means by which to solve the problem, and development of associated action plans.
- Work with vendors to ensure system operability/functionality and to ensure success of system implementations and upgrades.
- Reviews projects, analyzes business requirements, recommends system changes, writes specifications and implements application changes to address changing application and end user requirements.
- Contributes to ongoing process to integrate end users requests with software functionality to address changing.
- Creates and maintains technical documentation and architecture diagrams as required.
- Analyzes and provides recommendations relating to application configuration and functionality of systems to ensure reliability for current and/or future use.
- Works directly with project managers to understand application objectives, develop scope of project, outline effort projections, determine schedules, and finalize plans.
- Establishes and enforces standards, policies and procedures for Quality/Lab Systems related application systems.
- Participate in the development and implementation of the information technology goals, objectives, policies, and priorities.
- Assist in assessing the strategic direction of information technology and in developing strategic plans for use of new technology.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Computer Science or equivalent experience in an Information Technology environment.
- Five years experience in Quality Systems discipline as an Information Technology Analyst or a related function performing

This role:
The Lead IT Engineer provides strategic oversight and technical leadership across all facets of the organization’s infrastructure—servers, cloud, networking, storage, telephony, and endpoint management—ensuring security and reliability. They will work with both non-validated and validated systems to ensure compliance under GMP/21 CFR Part 11. Acting as the highest-level escalation point, you will architect solutions, define roadmaps, and guide large-scale projects that shape the future of IT operations. This includes working with operational technology, lab systems, and strategic partners to align IT best practices with evolving business requirements. You will lead continuous service improvements, oversee release and change management in ServiceNow, and support a culture of innovation and knowledge-sharing. Success in this role includes exceptional technical leadership, strategic thinking, and stakeholder management to deliver robust, secure, and scalable infrastructure solutions for the enterprise.
Further, this is a pre-management role, with the expectation hat the incumbent develop and refine the skills needed to providing leadership, oversight and management of all Plant information technology solutions and teams.
The responsibilities:
- Act as the final/highest-level escalation point and the point of contact for external vendor escalations for infrastructure support tickets and complex issues, including network outages, major incidents, or system failures. Use ServiceNow to manage incidents, service requests, and changes adhering to established SLAs and ITSM processes and providing professional and quality service.
- Participate and run the Major Incident Management process and coordinate efforts for resolution.
- Collaborate on long-term architecture and technology roadmaps for on-prem and cloud environments (Azure, AWS).
- Conduct capacity planning and performance analyses to inform budgeting, resource allocation, and future investments.
- Evaluate emerging technologies (e.g., IoT, SD-WAN, containerization) for potential implementation in manufacturing and OT contexts.
- Own incident, request, enhancement, knowledge, CMDB, release and change management processes for infrastructure, ensuring compliance with GMP/21 CFR Part 11 and ITIL best practices.
- Oversee patching strategies for both validated and non-validated systems, collaborating with QA/Compliance teams to manage regulated environments.
- Partner with Operational Technology, lab systems, and IoT teams to align manufacturing processes with IT best practices.
- Work with IT Business Analysts, Senior Engineers, and offshore support teams to deliver integrated solutions for critical applications.
- Maintain and improve collaboration and communication systems. Including cisco telephony for IP and non-IP phone systems, conference rooms, Microsoft teams, multi-function printers and secure print.
- Liaise with vendors, consultants, and third-party providers for specialized projects or advanced troubleshooting.
- Implement robust firewall and network segmentation strategies to protect manufacturing networks and lab environments.
- Guide the security posture (SSO, MFA, Zero Trust) in partnership with Information Security teams.
- Continuously evaluate and mitigate infrastructure risks, including vulnerability management and BCP/DR testing.
- Ensure accurate CMDB maintenance and foster knowledge management practices that enhance shift-left efficiency.
- Create advanced dashboards and reports for senior management, highlighting KPIs, trends, and improvement areas.
- Mentor Senior IT Engineers and collaborate with offshore partners to build a high-performing, cross-functional team.
- Encourage continuous learning and skill development, cultivating a culture of innovation and best-practice adoption.
- Ensure all Infrastructure and Operations efforts are completed on-time and with quality which includes managing and enhancing monitoring and alerting, backup and recovery, patching, and performing analysis to build reliable, resilient, secure, and scalable systems.
- Lead by example with documentation, compliance, and communication standards, reinforcing knowledge-sharing across the organization.
- Oversee major initiatives to improve reliability, performance, and scalability across on-prem, cloud, and hybrid infrastructures.
- Identify improvement opportunities in processes, automations (e.g., Infrastructure as Code), and advanced monitoring solutions.
- Drive collaboration between corporate IT, OT, lab systems, and offshore partners for seamless end-to-end service delivery.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, IT, or related field; or equivalent experience
- 5–8+ years of experience in progressive IT infrastructure roles, with 2+ years in a leadership or senior engineering capacity.
- Extensive experience in regulated (GMP/21 CFR Part 11) environments, overseeing validated and non-validated systems preferred.
Technical Skills:
- Expert-level knowledge of server/virtualization (Windows, Linux, VMware/Hyper-V), networking (firewalls, LAN/WAN, SD-WAN), and cloud architectures (Azure, AWS).
- Advanced understanding of database, storage (SAN/NAS), backup/DR solutions, and telephony.
- Proven track record of managing complex security postures, vulnerability remediation, and identity solutions (SSO, MFA).
- Proficiency in ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms, leveraging advanced features (dashboards, automation, CMDB).
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Operational Technology setups, lab systems, and compliance requirements in a manufacturing context.
- Proficiency in the following technical stacks – Cisco (wireless, switching), Fortinet (firewalls/SDWAN), Ubiquiti (wireless, switching), Windows Server, Hyper-V/SCVMM, VMware, MS SQL, Azure IaaS/PaaS, M365, and Veeam.

- Exceptional strategic thinking and architecture design capabilities.
- Strong leadership and mentorship skills, able to motivate and develop high-performing engineering teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, adept at conveying technical details to executive audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to handle major incidents and make critical decisions under pressure.
- A self-starter who remains current with industry trends, tools, and best practices.
Additional requirement(s):
- Availability to participate in 24/7 on-call rotation.
- Ability to work on-site in a regulated pharmaceutical/manufacturing setting, adhering to all compliance and safety standards.
- Willingness to occasionally travel to other sites or data centers as needed.
- Desire to progress into a management role
