The Email Marketing Coordinator is responsible for executing and optimizing email and SMS marketing programs to drive customer engagement and revenue growth. The role focuses on delivering lifecycle and promotional campaigns that align with broader brand initiatives and product launches. Key functions include campaign building, list segmentation, performance tracking, and cross-functional coordination to ensure high-impact, mobile-optimized communications.

Key Responsibilities
Campaign Management & Execution
- Build and execute email and SMS marketing campaigns focused on engagement, conversions, and brand loyalty.
- Develop and refine automated lifecycle flows, including welcome, post-purchase, win-back, and replenishment sequences.
- Execute customer list segmentation to ensure targeted and personalized messaging.
- Ensure all messaging aligns with established product launch timelines and brand initiatives.
Performance Optimization & Analysis
- Track and report on key campaign metrics, including engagement, deliverability, and revenue contribution.
- Conduct A/B testing on subject lines, creative assets, calls-to-action (CTAs), and audience segments to optimize performance.
- Use data-driven insights to identify opportunities for improvements in personalization and retention strategies.
- Maintain compliance with email marketing regulations and industry best practices for deliverability.
Platform & Technology Management
- Manage campaign builds within marketing automation platforms such as Maestra, Bloomreach, or similar tools.
- Utilize Google Analytics, Looker Studio, or related reporting tools to monitor and share performance insights.
- Work with Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) and e-commerce integrations to enhance targeting and personalization capabilities.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Creative and Content teams to produce visually engaging and mobile-optimized communications.
- Coordinate with Analytics and Paid Media teams to maintain consistent brand messaging across all channels.
- Support the maintenance of internal documentation and the development of updated marketing processes.
Qualifications
Required:
- 2+ years of experience in email marketing, lifecycle marketing, or marketing automation.
- Proficiency with email marketing platforms (e.g., Maestra, Bloomreach, Klaviyo) and automated workflows.
- Strong understanding of SMS marketing, A/B testing, and deliverability fundamentals.
- Analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance data and apply insights.
- Professional communication skills and high attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- Experience with Customer Data Platforms (CDPs).
- Familiarity with e-commerce, consumer products, or the sporting goods industry.
- Experience with Google Analytics or Looker Studio reporting.
