Ads power Reddit’s business. As a Senior Product Designer focused on Measurement, you will play a crucial role in shaping the systems and experiences that help advertisers send, understand, and act on the data that powers performance on Reddit. This includes areas like Pixel, Conversions API, partner integrations, signal quality, attribution, and measurement workflows that improve advertiser outcomes.

Your work will help advertisers build stronger and healthier integrations, making it easier for them to unlock better optimization, targeting, and reporting. You’ll design experiences that simplify technical complexity, increase advertiser confidence, and create clear value across a wide range of business sizes and sophistication levels. This work sits at the foundation of Reddit’s ads ecosystem and plays a critical role in helping businesses succeed.

What You’ll Do

• Be a strategic problem solver, identifying non-obvious opportunities to improve Reddit’s ads platform and ad experiences.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, researchers, data scientists, and other cross-functional partners to understand user needs, business goals, and technical constraints.
• Translate complex problems into elegant, scalable, and intuitive product experiences.
• Execute across every stage of the design lifecycle, from early concepts and systems thinking through detailed workflows and polished delivery.
• Drive alignment across diverse teams through strong exploration, storytelling, communication, and presentation to peers and leadership.

Who You Might Be

• 5+ years of industry experience in UX/UI design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your skills in designing for web and mobile.
• Comfortable with complexity, finding clarity in ambiguous situations, and simplifying complicated workflows.
• Demonstrated track record of partnering with product stakeholders, and direct product impact. Experience in ads or consumer social products is a plus.
• Strong communication skills while working closely with partners across the company.
• Humble, curious, and motivated to ship the best product.
• An inspired story-teller with strong written and presentation skills who is adept at bringing others along in their process.

As a Senior Content Designer, you’ll be responsible for the written copy within the Reddit platform and influence the designs that define the Reddit experience. You'll partner with designers, researchers, product managers, engineers, community managers, legal advisors, and others across the organization to build engaging experiences for Reddit’s users, moderators, and communities. You’ll bring your expert writing skills to Reddit’s designs and create simple yet meaningful copy that improves experiences and reinforces the elements that make Reddit the unique platform it is today. Using design-thinking and a clear head for product strategy, you’ll help create one-of-a-kind experiences and features across the Reddit ecosystem.

What You'll Do

• Craft clear, concise, and consistent user interface copy that makes it easy and enjoyable for Reddit users to accomplish tasks and reach their goals.
• Work with Reddit’s Design Systems team to create content patterns, guidelines, and tooling that scales Content Design’s impact across the organization. 
• Advocate for design and content that “Remembers the human” and improves the Reddit experience for our users and communities.
• Share innovative ideas that will significantly improve user experience; using fresh thinking to solve problems and improve processes.

Who You Might Be

• An excellent writer with almost crazy attention to detail. You have strong opinions on sentence vs. title case, the oxford comma, and the difference between words like Next and Continue, Browse and Explore.  
• Someone with experience writing UI copy for product experiences who can write new copy, edit existing copy, and integrate feedback from multiple stakeholders to improve the end result.
• A strong problem solver who can be effective in situations with limited information, building a solution from first principles and communicating it to stakeholders.
• Excited to use and create new tools to improve workflows, output, and scale our work. 
• Comfortable with rapid iteration, A/B testing, and pivoting based on performance data.
• Exceptional storyteller with strong writing and presentation skills and the ability to synthesize complex ideas into compelling narratives for executive-level reviews.

We are not looking for someone to just wait for a ticket or push pixels across a screen. We need a force multiplier: someone who can take a messy, vague business goal and turn it into a concrete product strategy that serves hundreds of millions of people.

You will lead cross-functional squads with a mix of high-level strategic thinking and elite technical craft. This role sits at the heart of our Consumer UX team, where you will be a co-architect of the product roadmap, not a service provider. You will thrive here if you are a builder at heart. You believe the best way to prove an idea is to actually build it. This is why you are comfortable using AI coding tools like Cursor to create functional prototypes that feel real and use real data.

The Two Paths

Depending on your background and where you want to make an impact, you will focus on one of two critical areas:

1. Growth: You will define the mechanics of how users discover and engage with Reddit, focusing on top-of-funnel acquisition, conversion to our apps, and long-term retention.
2. Youth and Compliance: You will design the vital guardrails that keep teens safe, ensuring Reddit meets global privacy and safety regulations, while crafting tailored experiences for different users that feel like Reddit.

What you'll do:

• Navigate the Fog: You will take ambiguous problems and transform them into clear project scopes and design strategies.
• Prototype to De-risk: You will use tools like Cursor to bridge the gap between "what if" and "here is how it works," testing complex edge cases before they ever hit production.
• Tell the Story: You will synthesize complex data and user behaviors into high-fidelity narratives that win over our executive leadership.
• Move the Needle: You will operate in a high-velocity environment defined by rapid-fire A/B testing and rapid iteration.
• Set the Standard: Your Figma files are pristine, your interactions are thoughtful, and your work serves as a benchmark for the entire design organization.
