Quinn Evans has a full-time position available for a marketing coordinator. The position will support our practice-driven marketing and business development functions. The position can be located in any of our office locations. Responsibilities

• Coordinate and develop efforts for all stages of project pursuits, including qualifications, proposal packages, and presentations 
• Support proposal production process including proofreading, editing for grammar, spelling, comprehension, consistency, and assembling and delivering final documents 
• Maintenance and management of marketing information and systems, including, but not limited to: 
  • Collateral and templates 
  • Marketing content (i.e. project descriptions, resumes, and text library) 
  • CRM database – data gathering and input 
  • Digital asset library, project descriptions, resumes, and other collateral materials 
• Conduct marketing research and lead searching 
• Assist as required with multi-platform communications, including marketing campaigns, social media efforts 
• Support development and submission of awards entries 
• Support and partake in networking and business development efforts 

Requirements 

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Communications, Journalism, English, Graphic Design, or another related technical field 
• Minimum of 3 years of marketing or business development experience in the A/E/C industry REQUIRED. 
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite 
• Ability to deliver detailed assignments with high levels of accuracy 
• Strong time-management skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously 
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of inter-office teams 
• Strong oral, written, and graphic communication skills 
• Knowledge of CRM / relational database platforms and digital asset management systems (experience with Deltek Vision / Vantagepoint and/or OpenAsset a plus) 

Salary Range Amount

Individuals with skills and knowledge to lead and support comprehensive planning and design projects, apply National Park Service (NPS) and Secretary of the Interior’s (SOI) standards for cultural landscapes, and work with interdisciplinary teams to support resilient design and stewardship are highly encouraged to apply.  This position provides opportunities for professional growth, exposure to a variety of project types, and immediate opportunities to contribute to the work of the firm.

Key Roles and Responsibilities 

• Coordinate project teams, schedules, and budgets  
• Facilitate collaborative projects including multiple disciplines, stakeholders, and the public  
• Research, creative synthesis of archival documentation, historic mapping, and analysis to inform responsible planning, design, and interpretation for a broad range of cultural landscape types and scales  
• Interact with the client and regulatory personnel  
• Contribute to the preparation of Cultural Landscape Reports (CLRs), Cultural Landscape Inventories (CLIs), and other preservation planning documents, including site history, existing conditions assessment, and treatment recommendations 
• Develop preservation strategies and design guidance that align with the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards while accommodating contemporary use, accessibility, and resilience. 
• Conduct field investigations and landscape documentation, including condition assessments, photographic surveys, and identification of character-defining features. 
• Prepare illustrated reports and graphic documentation including maps and diagrams to clearly communicate landscape evolution and preservation recommendations. 

Qualifications 

• Professional degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited institution. 
• 8-10 years of professional experience in landscape architecture, landscape preservation projects, and heritage conservation.  
• Demonstrated experience leading internal project teams through different project phases and experience coordinating with external consultant teams and agency partners. 
• Highly organized and professional with the ability to create workplans, prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously, manage budgets, staffing, and projections. 
• A collaborative, passionate disposition and comfort with iterative workflows. 
• Strong communication and presentation skills for both internal collaboration and client relationships. 
• Strong working knowledge of NPS guidelines and SOI standards for the treatment of cultural landscape is required. 
• Proficiency in software including, but not limited to, the Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. 
• Experience with ArcGIS Pro, Revit, and Serif Affinity is a plus. 
• Demonstrated experience and knowledge of landscape construction, detailing, and craft. 
• Familiarity and fluency with resilience or climate adaptation related work is preferred, but not required. 

Travel Required: 

Travel to a range of project and office locations, including remote locations, is required, travel expenses are provided. Candidates should have the capacity and be willing to work outdoors in all seasons through various kinds of weather, in rural or urban environments, for field surveys and meetings.

Job Description 

We are seeking a talented and motivated Landscape Architect or Landscape Designer with 4–7 years of professional experience to join our Washington, D.C. office. The ideal candidate is a curious, analytical designer with strong construction documentation skills and a collaborative disposition. The person in this role will work closely with Senior Landscape Architects on civic, cultural, and urban projects, primarily focused on design for construction, with occasional planning and master planning assignments. This position provides opportunities for professional growth, exposure to a variety of project types, and immediate opportunities to contribute to the work of the firm.  

Key Roles and Responsibilities 

• Produce design and construction documents for campus, civic, cultural, and urban projects under the supervision of senior staff 
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members (e.g. historians, historical landscape architects, preservation planners and architects) to support design and interpretation of historic and contemporary places 
• Assemble presentations for internal and external meetings  
• Develop graphics, visualizations, renderings, and presentations for public meetings, client workshops, and internal use 
• Support construction administration, including reviewing submittals, RFIs, and field observations 
• Participate in client, consultant, and site meetings as appropriate 
• Identify design or documentation issues proactively and collaborate to develop solutions 

Qualifications 

• Professional degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited institution 
• 4–7 years of professional site design experience, demonstrating growth in responsibility and technical skill 
• Professional licensure in DC/MD/VA or demonstrated progress toward registration 
• Thoughtful aesthetic and technical sensibility, capable of contributing to resilient, contextually aware designs that respect existing sites and historic conditions. 
• A highly organized and passionate professional approach to work with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously 
• Proficiency in producing construction documentation (plans, sections, details, and diagrams) using AutoCAD (essential); experience with LandFX is preferred. 
• Proficiency with Revit/Environment and ArcGIS are preferred but not required.  
• Proficiency in using digital design tools (Rhino, Enscape, Twinmotion or others) represent site design concepts.  
• Hand drawing/rendering skills are also highly valued. 
• Familiarity with Serif Affinity Suite (preferred) or Adobe Creative Suite. 
• The ability to prepare client and public presentations including concept diagrams, rendered technical drawings, and related 2D/3D graphics. 

Travel Required: 

• Primarily local travel within the DC/MD/VA area for site visits 
• Occasional travel to other offices or project sites outside the region
