ABOUT THE ROLE
The Hardware Test Engineer will be working with the Peloton Hardware Design and Operations teams to lead our new product qualification testing and on-going reliability testing in a fast-growing global fitness business. You will lead Projects, troubleshoot, innovate, and make decisions to help Peloton ensure quality and safety as we continue to innovate our product offerings. You are an individual who is independent, highly motivated, super organized, hyper-flexible and enjoys working in a collaborative team environment to improve product quality.
YOUR DAILY IMPACT AT PELOTON
- Build and maintain test plans for new product development and sustaining engineering activities
- Perform product validation and verification with off-the-shelf testing equipment as well as custom built machinery
- Design, build, and automate custom test rigs/fixtures to interact with various pieces of exercise equipment
- Write test reports
- Correspond with external team with test reports and status updates
- Attend morning/evening calls depending on the need.
- Provide technical support to technicians for various testing activities
- Use six sigma tools for root cause/failure analysis
- Work multi-functionally with other departments and prioritize work queues
- Supervise and implement test processes and data flow
- Ensure safety protocols are followed
- Aid in construction of and maintain lab equipment
YOU BRING TO PELOTON
- 2+ years of relevant work experience
- Education and/or equivalent work experience in Mechanical Engineering - M.S. preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- National Instruments LabVIEW certification preferred (CLAD, CLD, CLA)
- Six sigma certification preferred
- 3D Modeling (Solidworks)
- Statistical Analysis (Python, R, Minitab)
- Automation Skills (LabVIEW)
- PLC programming experience is a plus
- Ability to read/create mechanical drawings
- Strong communications skills

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range for this position based at our Woodinville, WA headquarters. Peloton Electrical Engineers are responsible for the architecture, design, and testing of hardware systems for Peloton products. This early-career position requires working collaboratively with engineers and engineering managers to support product improvement and development initiatives across the entire product lifecycle, from new product introduction through sustaining engineering.
As the team is highly dynamic with an exciting product roadmap, you will play a key role in ensuring electrical design robustness, manufacturability, time to market, and cost goals are all met. You will work multi-functional with many teams including Program Management, Product Management, Operations, Quality, Mechanical Engineering, Firmware Engineering, and Industrial Design.

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a detail-focused engineer to take the lead in ensuring technical documentation is clear, consistent, and accurate. This includes both creating and managing engineering documents. This role collaborates closely with the Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, Program Management and Quality Engineering teams to ensure appropriate product definition and design controls through 2D drawings and 3D CAD support for all phases of the product development lifecycle.

ABOUT THE ROLE
The Director of Global Product Quality is responsible for developing, leading, and continuously improving the organization’s global product quality strategy. This role ensures products consistently meet regulatory requirements, customer expectations, and company standards across all markets. The Director will lead cross-functional quality initiatives spanning design, manufacturing, supply chain, and post-market surveillance, driving a culture of excellence, compliance, and continuous improvement worldwide.

- Develop and execute the global product quality strategy aligned with corporate objectives
- Establish global quality standards, policies, and performance metrics across all regions
- Serve as the executive sponsor for quality improvement initiatives and transformation programs
- Lead quality governance forums and report on quality performance to senior leadership as required
- Ensure quality is embedded throughout the product lifecycle: concept, design, development, manufacturing, distribution, and post-market
- Drive robust risk management processes including FMEA, CAPA, root cause analysis, and change control
- Monitor and improve key quality KPIs including defect rates, cost of poor quality (COPQ), customer complaints, and field performance
- Champion the voice of the customer within product development and manufacturing
- Oversee complaint handling, field actions, and corrective/preventive action processes
- Collaborate with Commercial and Customer Service teams to ensure rapid resolution of quality issues
- Partner with Product Management, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Member Support and Procurement to ensure products’ quality through supplier quality and product integrity
- Support and align with the supplier quality strategy, including qualification, auditing, performance monitoring, and remediation
- Align global quality teams across regions to ensure consistency
- Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing global quality organization
- Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement
- Establish succession planning and talent development programs within the quality function
YOU BRING TO PELOTON
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field required
- Master’s degree (MBA or technical discipline) preferred
- Professional certifications (e.g., ASQ CQE/CQM, Six Sigma Black Belt) preferred
- 5+ years of progressive experience in product design engineering, product quality, and manufacturing quality
- 3+ years in a senior leadership role managing global or multi-site quality teams
- Demonstrated experience implementing or leading global Quality Management Systems
- Experience working within regulated industries (e.g., medical devices, pharmaceuticals, automotive, consumer goods, industrial manufacturing) preferred
- Strong strategic thinking with the ability to translate vision into execution
- Proven track record in leading organizational change and quality transformation initiatives
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Strong executive presence and ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders

The Reliability Engineer will be working with the Peloton Hardware Design and Operations teams to lead our new product qualification testing and on-going reliability testing in a fast-growing global fitness business. - Participate test development projects to design, build, and automate custom test rigs/fixtures to interact with various pieces of exercise equipment

- Own the Metrology Lab roadmap, managing CapEx planning, operational infrastructure, and a team of high-performing specialists to optimize global measurement processes
- Define corporate standards for GD&T (ISO/ASME). You’ll lead cross-functional reviews to transition the team from basic dimensioning to data-driven functional gauging and advanced 1D/2D/3D tolerance stack-up analysis
- Establish measurement correlation protocols and conduct technical audits with overseas partners (JDM/CM), specifically in Asia, to ensure lab-to-factory data alignment and GRS&R capability
- Oversee high-precision inspections (CNC-CMM, 3D scanning) and lead dimensional root-cause investigations on prototypes to resolve field failures and improve NPI success

ABOUT THE ROLE
The Reliability Engineer will be working with the Peloton Hardware Design and Operations teams to lead our new product qualification testing and on-going reliability testing in a fast-growing global fitness business. You will lead Projects, troubleshoot, innovate, and make decisions to help Peloton ensure quality and safety as we continue to innovate our product offerings. YOUR DAILY IMPACT AT PELOTON
- Build and maintain test plans for new product development and sustaining engineering activities, including sample size estimation and reliability goal
- Perform product validation and verification with off-the-shelf testing equipment as well as custom built machinery. Lead the execution to keep the schedule on track
- Manage ODM/OEM partners’ lab and third party lab to complete test task with their own test resource
- Lead test development projects.Design, build, and automate custom test rigs/fixtures to interact with various pieces of exercise equipment
- Deliver Validation status and results regularly to facilitate tracking the progress with cross functional team
- Summarize Validation result with field failure rate estimation to help crossfunctional team understand the margin impact
- Correspond with NY and Seattle based team with test reports and status updates, which will require morning/evening calls
- Provide technical support to technicians for various testing activities
- Actively perform preliminary root cause/failure analysis to collaborate with & drive cross functional team to resolution
- Utilize statistical tools to compile the result into impact to real world application
- Work multi-functionally with other departments and prioritize work queues through scoping the request and capturing business impact
- Standardize test documentation, including fixtures, test procedures, schematics and software program. Supervise and implement test processes and data flow
- Ensure safety protocols are followed & maintain lab equipment and inventory
YOU BRING TO PELOTON
- 3- 5+ years relevant work experience of systematic product testing
- Education and/or equivalent work experience in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering - M.S. preferred
- Excellent communication skills, including Chinese, and English (Taiwanese preferred)
- 3D Modeling (Solidworks). Ability to read/create mechanical drawings
- National Instruments LabVIEW certification CLAD or practical automation project demonstrated
- Statistical Analysis (Python, R, Minitab)
- Automation Skills (LabVIEW, or PLC programming experience)
- Six sigma certification preferred
- Familiar and experienced with JIRA, Confluence, and PLM system(Windchill) is a plus

YOU BRING TO PELOTON

Experience: 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering, with a strong background in power systems, power supplies, and consumer electronics development.
Technical Skills:
- Deep understanding of power systems, AC and DC motors, and line-connected appliance designs.
- Strong experience in both internal and joint development work, working with overseas JDM and CM partners.
- Understanding of regulatory requirements, including design for UL and CE safety and EMC requirements.
- Proficiency with schematic capture and PCB layout tools.
- Experience with microcontroller-based system design.

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range for this position based at our Woodinville, WA headquarters.
