Your next role as a Miracle Maker
Maravai LifeSciences is seeking a #MiracleMaker to join our Operations team as an Operations Intern. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience across multiple operational workflows, including Manufacturing, Quality Control, and Order Fulfillment, with additional exposure to MSAT, Facilities, and Engineering.
This internship is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of operational processes, automation systems, and continuous improvement methodologies within a manufacturing environment.
How you will make an impact:
- Rotate through key operational areas including Manufacturing, Quality Control, and Order Fulfillment
- Learn end-to-end workflows, including inputs, processes, outputs, and system purpose
- Develop an understanding of quality standards, specifications, and process nuances
- Gain hands-on exposure to automated manufacturing equipment, including operation, safety, maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Participate in Continuous Improvement (CI) projects using A3 methodology:
- Problem definition
- Root cause analysis
- Solution implementation
- Validation and lessons learned
- Initiate and execute CI projects aimed at improving quality and/or productivity
- Present progress and findings to stakeholders at key project milestones
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and learn from subject matter experts
- Perform other functions and duties as required
The skills and experience that you will bring:
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Interest in manufacturing operations and process improvement
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly
- Willingness to learn and work in a hands-on, operational environment
