Job Description: Site Reliability Engineer (Platform Engineer) Mid Level (L2)
Location: India (Remote- Bangalore)
Overview:
We are seeking a Mid-Level Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our global Platform Engineering team. As an SRE, your primary responsibility is to ensure that our platform is reliable, scalable, and performant. You’ll be the bridge between development and operations — designing automation, improving observability, and maintaining the health of our production systems. You should have what it takes to ask the right questions, identify potential risks early, and raise flags when necessary to maintain a culture of reliability and continuous improvement.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a Senior MySQL Database Engineer (L3) with 8+ years of experience managing large-scale production database environments. This role combines deep technical expertise with strategic thinking, focusing on production reliability, platform engineering, automation, and architectural evolution.
The ideal candidate will be a technical leader who can design scalable database solutions, mentor team members, drive automation initiatives, and own complex production systems. You will work with CloudSQL on GCP, lead migration projects, implement SRE best practices, and collaborate across engineering teams to ensure database reliability at scale.
This role includes participation in 24/7 on-call rotations to ensure continuous support for our critical MySQL infrastructure.
