• Volledige ownership nemen over de payroll voor België en Ierland en ervoor zorgen dat elke loonrun vlekkeloos, correct en compliant verloopt — maand na maand.
• Alle payroll inputs, controles en berekeningen valideren en waken over datakwaliteit binnen HRIS, payroll en Time & Attendance (T&A).
• Sociale wetgeving en wijzigingen moeiteloos vertalen naar duidelijke payrollprocessen en heldere interne richtlijnen.
• Sterke samenwerkingen uitbouwen met externe payroll en T&A partners en een efficiënte, kwalitatieve en transparante dienstverlening garanderen.
• Fungeren als go-to expert voor complexe payrollcases, root-cause analyses uitvoeren en zorgen voor duurzame oplossingen.
• Rust en betrouwbaarheid brengen in een complexe shift- en T&A-omgeving en ervoor zorgen dat medewerkers correct vergoed worden voor wat ze doen.
• Structurele issues rond shiftcomplexiteit monitoren en processen en controles proactief verbeteren.
• Continu vooruitkijken en processen, systemen en controles optimaliseren om payroll schaalbaar, future proof en minder afhankelijk van manuele acties te maken.
• Als people leader een payrollteam (circa. 4 direct reports) coachen, motiveren en laten groeien, met een sterke focus op kwaliteit, ownership en samenwerking.
• Als strategische partner samenwerken met HR, Finance en de business en adviseren over de payrollimpact van veranderingen en projecten.

Wie zoeken we?

Opleiding

• Master in HR, Finance, Business of gelijkwaardige ervaring.

Ervaring

• Minstens 10 jaar ervaring in Belgische payroll in een middelgrote tot grote organisatie.
• Sterke ervaring met shift‑populaties en complexe T&A‑omgevingen.
• Leidinggevende of coördinerende ervaring binnen payrollteams.

Talen

• Vloeiend in Nederlands en Engels.

Skills

• Diepgaande kennis van payrollprocessen, controles en rapportering.
• Goede kennis van sociale wetgeving (België vereist, Ierland is een plus).
• Ervaring met payrollsystemen, HRIS, T&A en Excel. Protime, eBlox en Workday zijn een grote troef.

• Taking full ownership of the payroll for Belgium and Ireland and ensuring that every payroll run proceeds flawlessly, correctly and compliantly — month after month.
• Validating all payroll inputs, checks and calculations and safeguarding data quality within HRIS, payroll and Time & Attendance (T&A).

Who are we looking for?

Education

• Master’s degree in HR, Finance, Business or equivalent experience.

Experience

• Minimum 10 years of Belgian payroll experience in a medium to large company.
• Strong experience with shift‑based populations and complex T&A environments
• Prior team leadership or coordination experience within payroll teams.

Languages

• Fluent in Dutch and English.

Strengths

• Strong knowledge of payroll processes, controls, and reporting.
• Solid understanding of Belgian social legislation (Belgian legislation required, Irish legislation is a plus).
• Experience with Sox audit compliancy is a plus.

• Beheer diverse benefitprogramma’s zoals het fietsleaseprogramma, warrants, flex income plan, mobiliteitsbudget, … en fungeer als eerste aanspreekpunt voor alle operationele vragen.
• Assisteer bij de jaarlijkse salarisreview en het bonus- & meritproces.
• Volg wijzigingen in sociale wetgeving op en vertaal deze naar HR-praktijken rond compensatie & benefits.
• Werk samen met payroll om een correcte salarisverwerking te garanderen.
• Neem deel aan diverse projecten rond prestatiegerichte beloning, functieclassificatie, …
