The role

Day to day

As a Data Engineer/Data Ops, you will work to create innovative solutions for handling peta-bytes of data with billions of rows & joins. Your work can vary from creating real time and offline features generation pipelines to managing our data infrastructure to be reliable and fast!
You’ll be responsible for:

• Program and maintain our data pipelines that fuels our on-premise/cloud data warehouse used to generate and serve our models
• Maintain and improve our fleet of data servers (the software), making sure they are reliable and able to process our billions of logs and data points
• Develop and productionize data pipelines for our ML models in both bare-metal and the cloud environment.
• Make suggestions and lead projects to improve our data processing capabilities
• Contribute to the team enabling us to be always better

We are looking for a candidate with a minimum 5+ yrs of professional experience in creating and maintaining big data pipelines, identifying data related process improvements, maintaining Kubernetes, Hadoop and Spark infrastructure. 

• Bachelor's/Master’s degree in a quantitative field of Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Machine learning Engineering, Business Analytics, Information Management or related field.
• You know relevant programming languages (Python, Java, etc)
• Expert in SQL & NoSQL and big data processing pipelines (we use Python, Spark, Airflow)
• Have proven experience managing data infrastructure that can store and process Petabytes of data (we use Hadoop, Spark)
• Kubernetes wizard. LLM symbiotic. 
• You have proven affinity with data
• You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• You can translate business requirements into data solutions
• You have excellent stakeholder management skills.
• Previous experience with Clickhouse is a plus
• Previous experience with ad-tech is a plus
• Experience with Real time big data processing is a plus
• General understanding of Machine Learning techniques (Neural Networks, Random Forest, etc.) and ML frameworks (Mlflow, PyTorch, Tensorflow, etc.) is a plus

The Team

The Platform Engineering team owns Real-time bidding (RTB) platform, a Real-time budget system, Real-time event processing, Stream data processing engine and multiple other complex large-scale distributed components and data pipelines. We work closely with data scientists, data analysts, product and business teams. We are responsible for some of the most technically challenging work, for example:

• Handling ~2 Million Req/sec in sub-millisecond latency
• Handing & managing ~Petabytes of data
• Managing distributed systems deployed across multiple data centers
• Optimizing JVM and Linux kernel for optimal performance
• Managing our own data center spread across the globe consisting of thousand of powerful servers
• Working on some of the most challenging problems of Ad-Tech

About the Role

We are looking for an  LLM Platform Engineer  /Lead who can  evangelise AI across the company  and build the  foundational tooling, frameworks, and workflows  that allow teams to ship AI-powered features quickly and safely. This role is ideal for an engineer who understands modern AI capabilities and focuses on  developer velocity, reuse, and production readiness  rather than training complex models from scratch.

Responsibilities

• Design and build  internal AI frameworks, SDKs, and shared libraries 
• Enable teams to integrate AI features with minimal friction
• Set up  standardized patterns  for using LLMs, embeddings, agents, and workflows
• Build reusable components for  prompt management, evaluation, observability, and safety 
• Define best practices for  AI usage, cost control, and reliability 
• Evangelise AI internally through documentation, examples, and hands-on guidance
• Rapidly prototype AI-powered features and turn them into reusable building blocks
• Own AI tooling from experimentation to production

Requirements

AI Tooling & Framework Experience (Core Focus) 

• Hands-on experience with  LLM APIs  (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.)
• Experience with  RAG pipelines, embeddings, vector databases 
• Familiarity with  prompt engineering, prompt versioning, and evaluation 
• Experience with  AI orchestration frameworks 
• Understanding of  AI observability, cost monitoring, and failure modes
• You’ve shipped at least one LLM-powered feature to production and iterated based on telemetry or user feedback.
• Comfortable with embeddings, fine-tuning, vector search, tokenization, and evaluation methodologies.
• Familiar with data lakes/warehouses, feature stores, and streaming/batch ETL; cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure).

Strong Engineering & Platform Skills 

• Excellent  Python  skills (required)
• Experience building  frameworks, platforms, or developer tooling 
• Strong understanding of  APIs, services, and system design 
• Writes clean, maintainable, production-grade code

About the Role

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to build and scale the backbone of our global RTB platform. You will move beyond manual server management to engineer automated, self-healing infrastructure that handles petabytes of data with sub-millisecond latency. This role is about treating our private data centers like a programmable cloud.

Responsibilities

- Engineering and Provisioning -

• Develop and maintain automated provisioning pipelines (PXE, ZTP) to deploy bare-metal servers ( configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements) at scale across global data centers.
• You research and recommend innovative and automated approaches for system administration tasks.

- Operations and Support -

• You perform regular security monitoring to identify any possible intrusions.
• You repair and recover from hardware or software failures, coordinating with impacted teams.

- Maintenance -

• You apply OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis, and upgrade administrative tools and utilities.
• You maintain data center environmental and monitoring equipment.
• You perform ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as required.

Requirements

• You are flexible to work in rotational shifts as part of the incidence response team.
• You have a Bachelor degree, with a technical major, such as engineering or computer science.
• You have good knowledge of coding with Shell and Python/Java and SQL commands.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform or Ansible or Puppet/Chef for managing bare-metal configurations and automations.
• Strong understanding of L4/L7 load balancing (HAProxy/Nginx) and network performance tuning (TCP/IP stack optimization).
• You have 8+ years of system administration/debugging experience, scripting and related tools.
• You have good knowledge on pipeline/orchestration tools like Jenkins/Ariflow and similar platforms  as mandatory. 
• You have good knowledge on Observability platform experience (Prometheus, Grafana, InfluxDB) as mandatory
• You have good knowledge of Kubernetes will be an added advantage.
• You have systems Administration/System Engineer certification in Unix will be an added advantage.
