What you’ll do 

• As a part of the team, you'll be taking part in the continuous development of the products that are in the care of your team.

What you’ll do 

Marketing at In The Pocket is hands-on and varied. As our Marketing Specialist, you own three key areas: digital campaigns, events and content. You work closely with the Marketing Manager and a small, driven team, but you're also expected to take the wheel independently. You keep multiple projects moving at once, without losing sight of the details. If you like structure, ownership and seeing concrete results from your efforts, this role is for you.

Digital Campaigns

• You set up and manage paid campaigns on Google and LinkedIn, from briefing to go-live.
• You track performance closely and translate the data into concrete recommendations : what's working, what isn't and what to do next.
• You actively look for ways to improve. You don't wait to be asked; you bring ideas to the table.

Event Management

• Together with the Marketing Manager and the team, you define the goal, format and target audience for each event in Belgium, the Netherlands and Romania.
• From that point, you take ownership of the execution: finding venues, reaching out to speakers, managing registrations and keeping internal stakeholders in the loop.
• On the day itself, you're present: welcoming guests, handling the unexpected and making sure the event lands well. Travel is part of the job.

Website & Content

• You support the day-to-day management of our website, keeping content accurate, up to date and well-structured.
• You contribute to content marketing initiatives — from briefing to publishing — working closely with the broader marketing team.
• You help maintain consistency across our digital channels, making sure what we put out reflects who we are.

Who you are 

• You have a bachelor's degree in marketing, communication or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• You have a few years of relevant professional experience and feel at ease managing multiple projects at once.
• You have hands-on experience with digital campaigns — Google Ads and/or LinkedIn Ads. This is a hard requirement.
• You have experience coordinating or supporting events, ideally in a B2B context.
• You're a strong project manager: you structure your work well, keep an eye on deadlines and make sure nothing slips through the cracks.
• You communicate fluently in Dutch and English.
• You're intrigued by where the world & AI is moving and are passionately integrating AI in every part of your job.

• Design, develop, and implement backend APIs using secure and efficient programming languages and frameworks.
• Migrate and manage cloud infrastructure on platforms like AWS.

• Optimize cloud resource utilization for cost-effectiveness and scalability.
• Implement robust security measures to protect applications and data in the cloud (OWASP).

As a Product designer you connect product strategy to product execution. You enjoy solving complex digital challenges and can drive a creative and collaborative approach to product development. Your ultimate goal is to boost usability and effectiveness through designs that look and work just great. You never take your eyes off the end user, because you know they are the ones who define the success of your work.

Provide best-in-class product design

• Solve customer problems through thoughtful and elegant user experience design.
• Translate visions for digital products, platforms and services into compelling UI.
• Present your work to the client in well-crafted deliverables such as wireframes, clickable prototypes or concept presentations.
• Use an analytical mindset and critical thinking to validate/test and lead to user-centered solutions.
• Document detailed interaction models, UI specifications and visual language to ensure design consistency.

See the bigger picture

• You understand that great UX is the result of far more than just great interaction or visual design.
• You start from the Why (i.e. business objectives and user needs), and critically reflect on the best path towards success.
• You can present concepts in a compelling strategic narrative (vs. as a loose collection of features).
• You have strong affinity with user research, service design, business design, and platform-thinking.
• You contribute to shaping product strategy, bringing a design perspective to business decisions.

Lead and take charge

• Given that you will be working with leading companies on key strategic challenges, you demonstrate a high degree of ownership and responsibility.
• Act as a strong and passionate advocate for users and their needs; champion product quality and experience design.

Team & mentorship

• Actively contribute to the growth and development needs of peers across the design function. As a more experienced designer, you'll be expected to mentor junior colleagues and help elevate the team's capabilities.
• In our team we work by the 4 eye principle; you will work in pairs, often taking the lead role on projects while supporting and guiding others.
• Share your expertise and help shape our design culture, processes, and standards.

Who you are 

• 5+ years of experience in Digital Product Design or UX/UI Design, with a proven track record of delivering impactful digital products.
• Strong understanding and practical experience with research methods and discovery practices. You can design and lead research activities and translate findings into actionable design decisions.
• You express yourself, your ideas and your work fluently in Dutch and English (both spoken and written).
• Proficient to expert in working with common design tools (Figma, Sketch, etc.), prototyping tools (Principle, ProtoPie, Framer, etc.) and user testing tools (Useberry, Maze, UserTesting, etc.).
• Solid experience working with scalable design systems and atomic design principles. You understand how to build and maintain design consistency across multiple products or platforms.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills. You can present confidently to stakeholders at various levels and articulate the value of your design decisions.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and tasks effectively.
• A fresh and innovative perspective on the future of digital design (including AI-driven experiences) and a desire to continually learn, experiment and develop your skill set (both hard and soft skills) to grow and evolve as a designer.
• You understand end-users are diverse and have demonstrated experience designing for accessibility and inclusion.
• Good working knowledge of Agile development processes (Scrum, Kanban, Lean UX, etc.).
• Familiarity with frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, React, React Native, etc.) to effectively collaborate with engineers and understand technical possibilities and constraints.
• A strategic mindset that connects design decisions to business outcomes and user value.
• Experience with brand strategy and visual identity systems is highly valued.
• Interest or experience with AI and emerging technologies and how they can enhance product design and user experiences.

What you’ll do 

AI is rewriting how organisations operate and compete. Many of our clients know they need to act, but struggle with where to start, what to prioritise and how to scale AI beyond the proof of concept. That's where you come in.

As a Senior AI Transformation Consultant, you help organisations see their future through the lens of AI and give them the framework to work towards it. You work across strategy, organisational design and applied AI, moving fluidly between a boardroom workshop and a hands-on pilot with a product team. You're comfortable telling a CEO which bets to make and equally comfortable rolling up your sleeves to define the use case, sketch the architecture and plan the rollout. You'll operate from our studios in Ghent, Antwerp or Leuven, but this is a client-facing role. You should be open to prolonged embedded assignments at enterprise and government clients, leading their AI transformation on-site as a trusted advisor who's part of their daily rhythm, not a consultant who flies in for a slide deck.

You'll work within our AI Transformation team, which covers three areas: Organisational AI Readiness, AI Discovery and Applied AI. These areas require different focus and expertise, we’re curious to hear where you thrive and excel (and where you don’t). In The Pocket has developed a proprietary and successful approach to AI Transformation, which you’ll champion across industries, such as healthcare, government, utilities, retail and finance.

Help organisations get AI-ready:

• Assess a client's organisational maturity for AI adoption: governance, tooling, data foundations, capabilities.
• Design and set up an AI Centre of Excellence: the team, the mandate, the decision rights, the guardrails and the metrics. The goal is to unify scattered AI efforts under shared standards while giving teams enough room to move fast.
• Define the AI orchestration layer: how models, agents and automation are governed, made available and kept under financial and compliance control across the organisation. 
• Map an organisation's capabilities to create a framework for distributed ownership of AI initiatives, making it clear where AI shifts value creation and who's accountable

Discover where AI creates value:

• Facilitate workshop series to uncover and prioritise AI use cases for a client, producing a growth map ranked by value and feasibility, with clear owners, timelines and success metrics.
• Develop AI differentiation strategies: where can this client build a competitive edge through? What will their competitors do, and what can they do that's different?
• Create solution concept sketches, stakeholder maps and data requirement overviews for the top-priority use cases.
• Build roadmaps that balance quick wins with longer-term foundational investments, so clients can show results while laying the groundwork for scale.

Get AI into production:

• Scope, plan and guide AI pilot projects from defining success criteria to shipping a working solution that proves value and builds internal buy-in.
• Define KPI’s and evaluation frameworks focused on impact and outcome.
• Lead the path from pilot to production. Define KPIs and evaluation frameworks that prove impact and guide clients through the inevitable gap between a successful pilot and a production-ready solution.

Ensure responsible adoption:

• Embed privacy, security and compliance into AI initiatives from day one. We're ISO 27001-certified and work in regulated industries. You should be comfortable in that context.
• Keep governance aligned with evolving regulation, including the EU AI Act.
• Promote human-first AI principles: AI as augmentation, not replacement. Help teams adopt AI in a way that feels safe and makes sense for their day-to-day work.

Grow the practice:

• Contribute to the development of our AI Transformation frameworks, playbooks and toolkits.
• Support our Sales team and help shape proposals and pitches for new AI transformation engagements.
• Coach and mentor more junior consultants across engagements.
• Share knowledge across In The Pocket and with the broader market through talks, articles or workshops.

Who you are

• You have 7+ years of professional experience, with at least 3 years in consulting, digital strategy or transformation roles serving enterprise or public-sector clients.
• You thrive working on-site with clients, building long-lasting relationships rather than doing research from a distance.
• You have a solid grasp of AI and machine learning concepts — not necessarily as an engineer, but enough to have credible conversations about what's possible, what's practical and what's hype. You can partner with engineering and data teams without needing to be walked through the basics.
• You've led or been deeply involved in organisational change programmes. You know that shipping the technology is half the job; the other half is adoption and change.
• You can run a workshop with senior stakeholders, synthesise findings into a clear strategy and present it back with confidence. You don't hide uncertainty from executives; you explain trade-offs honestly.
• You think in terms of business outcomes, not features. 
• You have experience with capability mapping, operating model design, data governance or similar organisational disciplines. You don't need all of these, but you should have depth in at least one.
• You're familiar with the current AI landscape: foundation models, agentic workflows, AI orchestration platforms, the buy-vs-build trade-offs companies face.
• You’ve learned to think and work “AI-first” and are a fluent orchestrator of various relevant AI-tools.
• You write well and you’re a great communicator. Discrete when required and on stage when the opportunity presents itself.
• You're comfortable with prolonged on-site engagements at client organisations. This role isn't remote-first — you'll spend real time in our studios and at client locations across Belgium and occasionally beyond.
• You're fluent in Dutch and English, with strong communication and presentation skills in both. French speaking ability is a strong plus.
• You are looking for a permanent full-time position.
