Business Development Associate (Sales) - Biotech

We are seeking a Business Development Associate to accelerate pipeline growth for our industry-leading Membrane Proteome Array (MPA) platform and help scale our business. This role is ideal for a relationship-focused professional who excels at nurturing client relationships throughout the deal lifecycle. Working as a part of the MPA sales team, you will identify new opportunities, advance qualified prospects, coordinate across internal teams, and ensure seamless execution from initial engagement through project delivery. If you are energized by building trusted relationships and moving deals forward, we want to hear from you!

What you will do at Integral Molecular: 

• Drive revenue growth: Achieve or exceed assigned quarterly and annual revenue targets for MPA services in close partnership with the broader commercial team. 
• Prospecting and demand generation: Identify, engage, and convert high-potential biotech and pharma accounts through outbound prospecting, cold outreach, and networking. Educate prospects on the value and technical advantages of the MPA platform. 
• Client engagement: Own your accounts – develop deep customer relationships by combining regular touchpoints with consultative selling that connects each customer’s needs to the value MPA delivers. 
• Cross-functional collaboration: Bridge conversations between prospects and our scientific teams ensuring technical discussions land clearly and project requirements are captured accurately at conversion. 
• CRM & pipeline management: Fully utilize Salesforce and related tools to manage pipeline, track deal progress, and maintain an accurate sales forecast. Prepare and follow-up on client proposals to drive conversion and provide updates during weekly commercial meetings. 

The ideal candidate will have: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or a related field  
• 3-5 years of overall experience in Life Sciences, with at least 1-3 years in a customer facing commercial role such as inside sales, business development, or account management. 
• The ability to translate complex scientific concepts into value-driven business conversations  
• The ability to effectively recognize opportunities, communicate ideas, and act autonomously in a fluid and matrixed environment 
• Experience with Salesforce preferred 
• An instinct for building relationships and understanding client needs
• Ability to commute in to our offices in University City, with current residence within the Greater Philadelphia area

What you will do at Integral Molecular: 

• Own and maintain the QMS (Dot Compliance), including document control, SOP lifecycle, and change control processes
• Serve as the primary QA representative for internal and external audits, ensuring continuous readiness for ISO 9001 surveillance and recertification
• Partner with QC personnel across teams to ensure quality standards are applied consistently. Manage quality events from investigation through closure.
• Track, analyze, and report on QMS performance metrics to identify trends, mitigate risks, and drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Monitor training compliance and support onboarding and ongoing quality systems training
• Support vendor qualification activities and coordinate responses to customer quality inquiries, complaints, and audit requests

The ideal candidate will have: 

• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 (GMP/GLP experience a plus)
• Hands-on experience with eQMS platforms (Dot Compliance preferred)
• Comfort being the primary QA voice in a cross-functional environment, effectively communicating to scientists, auditors, and software vendors
• BS in a scientific discipline (e.g., biology, biochemistry, chemistry, engineering, mathematics, or related field)
• 1-4 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Systems (biotech, pharma, or related industry preferred)
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to commute in to our offices in University City, with current residence within the Greater Philadelphia area

Our company is in an exciting growth phase where we are launching new products and reaching new markets. To support our growth, we seek a Research Technician to join our Membrane Proteome Array research team.

Responsibilities: 

• Setup and execute routine laboratory experiments 

• Perform DNA isolation and associated quality control assays 

• Maintain plasmid library using high throughput techniques 

• Perform tasks using aseptic techniques including working within a biological safety cabinet 

• Organize large data sets within an Excel spreadsheet 

Required Qualifications: 

• 6 months - 2 years hands-on laboratory experience 

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, medical technology or related field 

• Demonstrated ability to adhere to standard operating protocols and learn quickly 

• Ability to work in a team-based environment with a collaborative and proactive attitude 

• Excellent communication skills 

• Attention to detail 

Other Qualifications (desired but not necessary): 

• Experience with molecular biology techniques such as (PCR, E. coli transformation, Sanger sequencing and analysis) 

• Experience performing quality control assays 

• Previous general work experience

We seek a Research Associate I to join our dedicated group of scientists. A desirable candidate will have the skills to culture mammalian and/or bacterial cells, perform DNA mini-preps, and complete bacterial transformations or cell transfections. 

As an entry level research associate, this position offers you: 

• Technical and scientific development leading to professional advancement or graduate school 
• Opportunity to use automated liquid handling robots to implement high-throughput assays 
• Development of report writing and presentation skills, which may include FDA IND submission material 
• Collaboration and mentorship from senior scientists 

What you will do at Integral Molecular: 

• Perform assigned tasks in the lab, including cell culture, DNA-handling, flow cytometry in a 384-well format, and the associated data analysis 
• Use liquid-handling robots to perform antibody stains, washes, and dilutions  
• Troubleshoot experimental and equipment issues 
• Follow SOPs to complete experiments and assays, including good record keeping 
• Assist in the preparation of customer-facing reports and deliverables 
• Independently plan a daily schedule, which may include balancing multiple projects simultaneously 
• Present data at team and company-wide meetings  

The successful candidate will have: 

• Bachelor’s degree in biology, bioengineering, or a related field 
• 1–2 years of laboratory experience (internships and student jobs are applicable) 
• A strong working knowledge of MS Excel 
• Ability to work in a team-based environment with a collaborative and proactive attitude 
• Inherent drive to work in a fast-paced environment focused on meeting customer deadlines
