The Richards Group an IMA Company is seeking an experienced Senior Personal Lines Account Manager to join our team. If you excel at building strong client relationships, thrive in a fast‑paced environment, and bring a commitment to exceptional service, we’d love to connect with you.

This position offers flexibility, including the option to work remotely. Because we value in‑person collaboration for training, team building, and strategic meetings, qualified candidates must live within reasonable travel distance to one of our VT or NH locations.

What You Bring:

Minimum of 5 years of prior experience in the insurance industry, specifically within Personal Lines
An active Property & Casualty License
A strong sense of integrity, professionalism, and reliability
A team-oriented mindset paired with high self‑motivation
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational and time‑management abilities
A passion for delivering outstanding customer service
Proficiency with computer systems and efficient, accurate data entry
Experience using AMS 360 or a similar agency management system (preferred but not required)

Salary Range

$55,000—$65,000 USD

Join our dynamic Total Rewards team in the vibrant Portsmouth, NH market as a Senior Client Manager! Here, you'll have the exciting opportunity to build strong client relationships while delivering exceptional service and support. In this client-facing role, you’ll lead benefit platform initiatives, support open enrollment, manage reporting and compliance tasks, and coordinate employee communications. You’ll also assist with RFPs, renewal tracking, and ongoing client meetings.

What You Bring

Bachelor’s degree with 3–5 years of experience in account management or HR (employee benefits preferred)

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and virtual meeting platforms
Strong communication, organization, and analytical skills
Ability to make sound independent decisions and manage priorities effectively
Customer-focused and empathetic, with the ability to stay composed under pressure
Self-directed and collaborative team player
Willingness to be occasionally available after hours (monthly cell phone stipend provided)
