Salesforce Developer

We are seeking a midlevel Salesforce Developer (Contract) based in Colombia to support and extend a highly integrated Salesforce environment. This role is execution focused and ideal for a developer who is comfortable working in an established org, contributing both to day to day support and new development, while collaborating closely with an experienced Salesforce Developer and CRM leadership. 

This is not an entry level role and not intended to be a long term architecture owner. The successful candidate will be hands on, pragmatic, and able to work semi independently within clearly defined priorities. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Deliver a mix of Salesforce support and new development, including urgent issue resolution (“firefighting”) and planned enhancements 

• Build, enhance, and maintain Apex based solutions, including batch processing and refactoring or scaling legacy low code automation where appropriate 

• Develop and optimize SOQL queries with performance and platform limits in mind 

• Implement and support Salesforce integrations, including custom API callouts and out of the box connectors 

• Work within a highly integrated ecosystem, supporting connections with systems such as: 

• Zoom Events 

• Bizzabo 

• CMS platforms 

• Internal integration bus 

• Sage Intacct 

• Fivetran 

• Collaborate closely with a seasoned Salesforce Developer who provides higher level technical direction and deep business context 

• Execute work primarily assigned by CRM leadership, with additional tasks flowing through a ticketing system for day today Salesforce needs 

• Document work clearly and follow established development and deployment practices 

Salesforce Environment 

• Salesforce Clouds in use: 

• Sales Cloud 

• Service Cloud 

• Revenue Cloud (new; not yet implemented) 

• Revenue Cloud experience is helpful but not required; exposure and willingness to learn are sufficient 

Required Qualifications 

• 2–4 years of hand son Salesforce development experience 

• This should not be your first Salesforce org 

• Strong experience with: 

• Apex (including Batch Apex) 

• SOQL 

• Salesforce integrations / APIs / callouts 

• Solid understanding of: 

• Salesforce governor limits 

• Order of execution 

• When to use declarative vs programmatic solutions 

• Ability to work semi independently, with occasional technical course correction and guidance 

• Proven ability to write clear, maintainable, and testable code 

• Comfort exploring and working on the API and integration layer 

• Strong English proficiency (written and spoken) for collaboration with cross functional teams 

Nice to Have 

• Experience with Lightning Web Components (LWC) 

• Prior exposure to Revenue Cloud 

• Salesforce certifications (not required): 

• Platform Developer I 

• Salesforce Administrator 

• Salesforce Business Analyst 

Team & Ways of Working 

• Reports directly to Director, CRM Operations 

• Works primarily with other developers in a collaborative engineering environment

• Colombia based, ideally within a few hours of Eastern Time (Bogotá aligned time zones work well)

Job Description: Senior Software Engineer (Consultant)

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer/Full-Stack Engineer to play a key role in the design, development, and maintenance of our web applications. This role requires expertise in React, Next.js, .NET/C#, Azure, SQL Server, Sitefinity, and Elasticsearch, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, translate business requirements into technical specifications, and oversee all phases of integration, deployment, and testing. This is a one-year, full-time consulting engagement with the possibility of extension.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of our web application using these technologies: React, Next.js, Azure, SQL Server, .NET/C#, Sitefinity, and Elasticsearch.
• Actively participate in coding tasks and ensure high-quality code.
• Ensure timely delivery and take ownership of associated deliverables.
• Translate business requirements into detailed design and application specifications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with related tools/solutions.
• Oversee all phases of integration deployment and testing.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met.

Required Experience, Skills, and Education:

• English language proficiency of C1 or higher.
• Strong foundation in JavaScript and React.
• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Proven leadership and mentoring skills.

• Extensive experience in the full lifecycle of applications.
• Experience working in a small team collaborative environment.

• Proficiency in C#.

Nice to Have:

• Studies in Information Systems / Computer Science.
• Experience with Next.js, Node.js, Redux, React Hooks.
• Experience with .NET Core, and MVC.
• Experience with Azure.
• Knowledge of Elasticsearch, MongoDB, SQL Server.
• Familiarity with JSON, OData, API, and Web Services.
• Salesforce development experience.
