The Opportunity:

We're looking for a Tax Manager to take on meaningful ownership across provision, compliance, planning, and R&D credits at a fast-growing global company. This is an individual contributor role with end-to-end ownership and no direct people management responsibilities. In this role, you'll work closely with Accounting, FP&A, Legal, and cross-functional leaders, bringing structure and expertise to Grafana's tax function as we continue to scale.

This role is ideal for someone who is resourceful and adaptable, thrives in a fast-growing remote-first environment, and is excited to leverage tools (including AI) to work efficiently across a broad range of tax areas.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Manage all US federal and state income tax compliance and planning, including corporate returns and estimated tax payments
• Execute the quarterly and annual tax provision process under ASC 740, including deferred tax analysis, valuation allowances, and tax disclosures
• Lead global indirect tax compliance, including sales and use tax, VAT/GST, and gross receipts
• Support and execute R&D tax credit identification, documentation, and maximization across federal and state programs
• Manage tax audits and notices, including preparation of responses and supporting documentation
• Support month-end and quarter-end close through tax accruals, account reconciliations, and tax provision entries
• Maintain the global tax compliance calendar and manage relationships with external advisors
• Design and improve tax processes and workflows, leveraging automation and AI tools to move toward data-driven, scalable approaches
• Use AI tools to accelerate tax research, documentation, and analysis across compliance and planning workstreams
• Serve as the internal tax resource for cross-functional teams by translating complex tax matters into clear guidance for Finance, Legal, and business stakeholders

What Makes You a Great Fit:

• 6+ years of U.S., international tax experience, including Big 4 and/or in-house experience at a multinational company
• Master’s in taxation, CPA, JD, LLM or similar certifications strongly preferred
• Strong command of US GAAP income tax accounting (ASC 740) and international tax concepts
• Hands-on experience with sales tax / VAT compliance and tools such as Avalara
• Familiarity with transfer pricing principles and documentation requirements
• Experience at a high-growth SaaS or cloud company preferred

The Opportunity:

We’re looking for a Director, Internal Audit to establish and lead Grafana Labs’ internal audit function that supports the business, strengthens governance, and helps manage risk without slowing innovation. This is a highly visible role with direct access to senior leadership and reports to the CFO. You’ll design a risk-based internal audit program from the ground up, act as a trusted advisor to the business, and help ensure we scale with strong controls, transparency, and integrity.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building from scratch, partnering with stakeholders, and leveraging modern tools - including AI - to deliver efficient, high-impact assurance.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Establish and lead the internal audit function, including defining the audit charter, methodology, and annual audit plan
• Develop and execute a risk-based internal audit program covering financial, operational, technology, compliance, and strategic risks
• Leverage data analytics and AI-enabled tools to enhance audit planning, testing, and continuous monitoring
• Assess risks and controls related to the company’s use of AI and automation, including governance, data quality, model risk, security, and ethical considerations
• Partner closely with leadership, Finance, Legal, Security, IT, Engineering, and Product teams to understand the business and provide actionable insights
• Evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls, including SOX-readiness and future public-company considerations

This role will play a critical part in shaping value and pricing positioning, structuring and negotiating complex deals, and supporting end-to-end deal execution—including quote creation, custom terms, deal bookings, and pricing governance. The Senior Deal Manager will also lead pricing and deal analytics to inform decision-making and policy development.

Beyond day-to-day deal support, this role will take ownership of strategic initiatives designed to help the Commercialisation & Pricing function scale and drive meaningful business impact across Grafana Labs.

This is an individual contributor (IC) role reporting directly to the Head of Commercialisation & Pricing. The Commercialisation & Pricing function encompasses Pricing Strategy, Competitive Strategy, and Deal Strategy, with a mandate to drive sustainable, long-term revenue growth for Grafana Labs.

Grafana Lab’s Order to Cash team is hiring for a Collections Manager to optimise the end-to-end collections process. The role will have significant business impact driving timely cash receipts, minimizing bad debt, and supporting strong customer relationships. This role partners closely with Sales, Finance, and Legal while owning the full accounts receivable aging and leading collections strategy.

This position is ideal for a systems-minded operator who works smarter to free up time and focus on the work that matters most, has a passion for automation, and is eager to scale collections processes in a growing SaaS environment. 

This is an individual contributor (IC) role reporting directly to the Sr. Manager, Financial Operations.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Own the end-to-end collections process for the entire AR aging, driving timely resolution of past-due balances through proactive outreach and negotiation
• Manage collections through a case management system, owning assigned tickets, queues, and collections escalations end to end
• Evolve and enhance collections strategies aligned with company policies, customer segmentation, and risk profiles
• Analyze AR aging, payment trends, consumption patterns, and dispute data to identify risk, prioritize actions, and improve cash flow
• Resolve billing disputes by coordinating with Billing, Sales, and other internal teams
