About the role
We’re seeking a Front Desk Coordinator to join our growing team! You’ll serve as the face of the company, creating a welcoming and professional environment for team members, candidates, and guests. This is not a passive, sit-back role- the front desk is the heartbeat of the office and every minute matters. This role is equal parts hospitality and operational excellence. You’ll anticipate needs before they arise, handle high-traffic, multi-guest situations, keep our visitor experience seamless, and help set the tone for our culture.
You’ll work closely with our Operations team to elevate the overall employee experience, owning the details and stepping in wherever needed. We’re looking for someone who is kind, hospitable, detail-oriented, proactive, and ready to go above and beyond for anyone who steps foot into our office.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for team members, candidates, clients, and guests, creating a warm, professional and welcoming in-office experience
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk and reception area
- Manage guest check-in and visitor flow using tools such as Slack, Gmail, and a visitor management system
- Coordinate incoming traffic to the office, including greeting visitors and directing them appropriately
- Receive, sort, and distribute mail, packages, and deliveries with accuracy and efficiency
- Coordinate food and catering deliveries for team meals and events
- Partner with the Operations team to support day-to-day office needs and special projects as needed
- Maintain consistent in-office coverage from 8:00AM - 5:00PM, Monday through Friday
What you’ll bring
Required experience
- 1-2 years of experience in a front desk, office coordination, or administrative role
- Strong communication skills and a professional and welcoming presence
- Strong email etiquette
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to adapt to a busy environment
- Basic tech fluency (Google Calendar, Google Mail, Slack, etc.)
Preferred qualifications
- Experience working in a fast-paced, early-stage startup environment
- Experience supporting office operations, workplace coordination, or facilities management
- Experience managing vendors, deliveries, or office logistic

About the role
We're looking for a Security Architect to own IT and physical security operations at Goodfire. The stakes in AI development are extremely high, and we need to protect ourselves against sophisticated threats. In this role, you will lead our efforts to keep Goodfire secure against global risks.
This is a foundational role. Your responsibilities will include protecting our cloud infrastructure, securing company intellectual property, managing access to IT systems, and overseeing physical security for our offices. You will defend Goodfire against sophisticated actors seeking to infiltrate our systems.
This position reports directly to the CTO.
Where you'll contribute
- Infrastructure & DevOps – Protecting our cloud environments, CI/CD pipelines, and production systems from attackers.
- IT Operations – Centralizing endpoint security, identity and access management, and physical devices.
- Physical Security – Leading office access controls, visitor management, and physical security measures appropriate for an AI research lab.
- Security Culture – Building a security culture which is ready to protect the organization from state level threats.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement security controls across cloud infrastructure (research cluster, platform APIs).
- Own identity and access management, including SSO, hardware authentication, and least-privilege access policies.
- Manage endpoint security, device management, and IT systems.
- Establish and maintain security monitoring, logging, and incident response capabilities.
- Conduct security assessments and work with engineering teams to remediate vulnerabilities.
- Develop and maintain security policies, documentation, and compliance frameworks.
- Manage physical security systems including access controls and office security.
- Respond to security incidents across all domains—digital and physical.
What you'll bring
Required experience
- 7+ years of experience in security engineering.
- Strong foundation in cloud security (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Experience with identity management, SSO, and access control systems.
- Experience with compliance frameworks (SOC 2, HIPAA) relevant to enterprise customers.
- Comfort operating as a generalist—you'd be happy jumping between configuring firewalls and setting up badge readers.
- You can deeply own the protection of our people and systems.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience at an early-stage startup or building security programs from scratch.
- Background in ML infrastructure or familiarity with ML training workflows.
- Physical security experience, including access control systems and facility security.

About the role
We are seeking a Finance Manager to own day-to-day financial operations at Goodfire as we experience a period of rapid growth. You will be responsible for supporting monthly and quarterly reporting, owning our financial models, and building the infrastructure to scale our finance function. The role spans the full spectrum from heads-down operational work to assisting with fundraising and capital allocation decisions. You’ll need to be able to work hard and move fast.
Key responsibilities
- Financial planning and analysis - own and maintain our financial models, support budgeting and forecasting, and provide strategic analysis to inform decisions.
- Payments and AP/AR - own all payments processing, vendor management, invoicing, and collections.
- Reporting and metrics - build dashboards and reporting infrastructure to provide leadership with visibility into financial performance.
Who you are
- A finance operator with real expertise who has done the grind before and is ready to do it again at an early-stage company.
- Experience managing payments, AP/AR, and monthly close processes. Fluent with financial systems and tools (Quickbooks, Excel).
- High agency and low ego. Willing to go deep on topics outside your core competency and learn quickly.
What you’ll bring
Required experience
- 4-6+ years of experience in finance, accounting, FP&A, or financial operations - ideally at a startup or high-growth environment.
- Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals (CPA or accounting background a plus, but not required if you’ve developed equivalent expertise).
- Technical competency. You should be comfortable engaging with engineering and infrastructure concepts, including compute cost dynamics.

About the role
We’re hiring a Business Operations Manager to own the operational machinery at Goodfire. This is a hands-on role where you will be expected to own any operational problem from 0 to 1. You’ll need a strong technical background to deeply immerse yourself in our business and the generalist adaptability to pick up anything and turn it into a solved problem. If you don’t have direct expertise in machine learning or interpretability you’ll be expected to develop a working understanding quickly.
Your work will split between recurring tasks that keep the business running (customer contracts, recruiting initiatives, immigration logistics, and vendor negotiation) and strategic projects that push the company forward. You will ensure there is near-zero administrative overhead for the broader team, even if this requires thankless hours of invisible work on your end. You’ll be staffed against whatever matters most and be expected to deliver.
Who you are
- An experienced operator who’s been through rapid scaling before. You know what breaks when companies grow fast and how to pre-empt issues.
- Detail-oriented and fast-paced. You can move extremely quickly without letting anything slip.
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills. You can translate between technical and non-technical teams effortlessly.
