Senior D365 CE Functional Consultant (part-time)

About the Role
Enavate is a US-based IT company and a Microsoft Gold Partner, known for delivering tailored business solutions that help SMB organizations transform their operations. As we continue to expand our client engagements, we are looking for an experienced Senior Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE Functional Consultant to join us as a contractor based in the United States.
This role will start as a part-time engagement with the potential to expand to full-time depending on project needs and performance.
In this role, you will work closely with our delivery teams and clients to design, implement, and optimize Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement solutions, particularly within Dynamics 365 Sales, Field Service, Customer Service, and Customer Insights – Journeys, alongside the Microsoft Power Platform.
You will act as a trusted advisor to clients, helping translate business needs into effective solutions while ensuring successful implementation and adoption.
Report to: CE & PP Practice Leader

Travel: up to 25% (U.S.)

Your Impact and Key Responsibilities:
Client Advisory & Solution Design
- Work closely with client stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into effective Dynamics 365 solutions.
- Provide guidance on best practices for Dynamics 365 CE and Power Platform
- Support solution design and ensure alignment with client business objectives.
Implementation & Delivery
- Implement and configure Dynamics 365 Sales, Field Service, Customer Service, and Customer Insights – Journeys
- Design and implement Power Platform solutions, including Power Apps and Power Automate, to automate and streamline business processes.
- Design and support integrations between Dynamics 365 and other enterprise systems.
- Participate in requirements gathering, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
- Troubleshoot and resolve functional or technical issues related to Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions.
Collaboration & Practice Support
- Collaborate with solution architects, developers, and project managers to deliver successful client outcomes.
- Contribute to solution documentation and knowledge sharing within the delivery team.
- Support pre-sales activities when needed, such as solution discussions, demonstrations, or providing input into proposals.
What It Takes to Be Successful:
Professional Experience
- Strong experience implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales and Field Service.
- Hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 Customer Insights – Journeys and Customer Service.
- Experience building solutions with Power Apps and Power Automate.
- Experience implementing Power Pages and/or Copilot Agents is a plus.
- Strong understanding of CRM processes, automation, and customer engagement solutions.
- Experience with data migration, integrations, and system configuration within the Dynamics ecosystem.
- Ability to work independently in a client-facing consulting role.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Communication & Collaboration
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to work effectively with distributed teams and international colleagues.
- Comfortable interacting directly with business stakeholders and technical teams.
Certifications & Education
- Microsoft certifications related to Dynamics 365 or Power Platform are highly desirable.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Dynamics 365 Customer Service.
- Experience with Power BI or Dynamics 365 Business Central
- Experience with Copilot or AI capabilities within the Microsoft ecosystem.
- Experience with D365 on-premise to online migrations.
- Previous involvement in pre-sales or solutioning activities.
- Active U.S. security clearance (or ability to obtain one) is a strong plus.

What It Takes to Be Successful:
Education & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Microsoft certifications in Dynamics 365 or Power Platform are highly desirable.
Professional Expertise
- Extensive experience with Dynamics 365 Sales and Field Service.
- Hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 Customer Insights – Journeys and Customer Service.
- Strong experience with Power Apps and Power Automate.
- Experience implementing Power Pages; Power BI and Copilot Agents – nice to have.
- Strong understanding of CRM processes, business workflows, and automation.
- Proven ability to translate business requirements into scalable solutions.
- Experience with data migration, integrations, and system architecture design.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience creating solution documentation and functional specifications.
- Ability to balance strategic advisory with hands-on delivery.
- English language proficiency at Upper-Intermediate level or higher (B2+), enabling effective communication with international clients and colleagues.

- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior consultants and delivery team members.
- Contribute to solution architecture discussions and technical documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality client outcomes.
Pre-Sales & Practice Contribution
- Support pre-sales activities such as solution demonstrations, discovery workshops, and proposal input.
- Help shape solution approaches and effort estimates during the sales cycle.
- Contribute to the growth of the Dynamics 365 and Power Platform practice through knowledge sharing and best practices.
What It Takes to Be Successful:
Education & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Microsoft certifications in Dynamics 365 or Power Platform are highly desirable.
Professional Expertise
- Extensive experience with Dynamics 365 Sales and Field Service.
- Hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 Customer Insights – Journeys and Customer Service.
- Strong experience with Power Apps and Power Automate.
- Experience implementing Power Pages; Power BI and Copilot Agents – nice to have.
- Strong understanding of CRM processes, business workflows, and automation.
- Proven ability to translate business requirements into scalable solutions.
- Experience with data migration, integrations, and system architecture design.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience creating solution documentation and functional specifications.
- Ability to balance strategic advisory with hands-on delivery.
- English language proficiency at Upper-Intermediate level or higher (B2+), enabling effective communication with international clients and colleagues.

Work Structure & Collaboration
At Enavate, we embrace flexibility in how we work, but we also believe that collaboration is key to our success. Our office locations in Tampa, FL, Fargo, ND, and Kyiv, Ukraine are central to our culture and provide a hub for team interaction and innovation.
All North American new hires are onboarded in person at our Tampa office. Onboarding typically lasts 3 days, depending on the role, and provides a dedicated opportunity to connect with your leader, teammates, and our company culture.
