Our Data Pricing TEAM is looking for a Analytics Engineer/Data Analyst (f/m/d) on an apprenticeship basis, located in Paris/Lille starting September 2026.
Within an agile team of 5 to 6 analytics professionals (Business Intelligence, Data Analysts, Analytics Engineers) based in Lille and Paris, we drive Decathlon's global pricing strategy. Our challenge? Steering performance during peak commercial seasons ("In-Season") and turning data into growth opportunities. You will have a direct impact on our global pricing relevance and the satisfaction of our sport users.

Role Summary
Reporting to the Operation & Activation team, you will act as the strategic project orchestrator for internal data platform, digital and business domains. Your mission is to manage end-to-end data initiatives, coordinating resources to ensure that teams achieve their target Time-to-Value without execution risks. Beyond pure project management, you will also act as the methodological pillar of the team (Scrum Master mindset), ensuring agile delivery, team coherence, and smooth operational rituals.

At Decathlon, Analytics is a union of Data Analysts, BI Engineers, and Analytics Engineers, a team of 150 people within the Data teams, spread across various fields. If you love data and want to use it to make a difference, join us!
The Data Supply Chain, is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining innovative analytical and AI solutions around supply chain issues such as product assortment by optimizing costs, the dispatch of our products across our network, and the visibility and availability of our products on our platforms, to name a few.
The multidisciplinary team is composed of Data Scientists, Data Analysts, Analytics Engineers, Data PMs, and BI Engineers. It works closely with product managers and business partners using agile methodology and a state-of-the-art technical stack.

As a Data Analyst, you will serve as a key link between data teams and supply business teams (product managers, dispatchers, etc.), supporting them in making strategic, data-driven decisions.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
You engage with business contacts and operational teams to gain a better understanding of the issues you're working on. You develop appropriate data solutions by being proactive and respecting their constraints, while maintaining a sound understanding of existing analyses and tools.
You identify the data needed for your study and ensure its quality and reliability. You perform the data cleaning and preparation prior to applying the statistical and analytical methods you choose. (Note: You respect and promote the ethical framework for the use of personal data.)

The Digital Analytics team enables data-informed decision-making across Decathlon ecommerce, driving faster and smarter outcomes. We go beyond descriptive analytics by combining advanced analytics, experimentation, and data science to both understand and shape customer behavior. By embedding these capabilities into our digital products, we power intelligent features, personalization, and continuous optimization at scale. By integrating data across the full product lifecycle, we ensure every feature and iteration delivers meaningful value for both users and the business.
As a Senior Data Scientist, you will play a key role in exploring data, generating insights, and building data-powered product experiences. You will partner closely with product managers, engineers, and analysts to apply predictive and prescriptive analytics, and develop models that directly impact customer experience and business performance.
This is a highly product-oriented role: we are looking for someone who combines strong analytical thinking with applied data science, and who has hands-on experience delivering solutions in real-world product environments. You should be comfortable moving from exploration and hypothesis generation to modeling and impact measurement, with a focus on delivering tangible outcomes in a product environment.
