We are seeking a Mental Health Professional to support our Child programs. This role will be a blend of direct patient interaction and general administration work, ensuring that the programs are running smoothly. What You'll Do:

• Provide support for the learning environment – be present in group therapy rooms, assist with supervised study, assist patients with check-in for program
• Help manage crisis situations and support patients as they gain emotional regulation
• Communicate patient progress with team.
• Chart progress of patients; complete all incident reports thoroughly and within 24 hours
• Check and respond to daily emails, voicemails and EMR messages.
• In collaboration with team, aid in development of individualized behavioral plans and contracts.
• Engage in frequent communication and collaboration with team members
• Check and respond to daily emails, voicemails and EMR messages
• Ensure safe patient transitions from room to room; setting up and cleaning the group therapy rooms
• Set up rooms for supervised study and complete attendance logs
• Maintain organizational systems
• Maintain patient privacy at all times
• Phone communication with patients/parents in non-crisis situations
• Bringing patients to/from lobby when they arrive and need to leave at off-times
• Provide supervision to patients throughout the day
• Administrative tasks such as data entry, attendance, and general paperwork
• Ensure program is equipped with appropriate supplies
• Email correspondence with parents (sending invites for parent meetings, etc.)
• Support with supervised study and lunch if applicable
• Participate in professional development activities
• Other responsibilities as assigned

Who You Are:

• Experience working with children
• Ability to quickly establish rapport with children
• Excellent time management and organizational skills, including the ability to juggle multiple demands simultaneously in a fast paced and changing environment
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to maintain patient privacy at all times
• Bachelor’s Degree – preferred

What You'll Do:

• Developing and implementing DBT/CBT skill groups, working with patients in our Child Program (aged 8-13 years old) and in our Adolescent Program (aged 4-17 years old)
• Providing crisis intervention and staff support, as needed
• Developing and documenting treatment plans and weekly update
• Co-facilitating creative expression and other experiential therapeutic groups
• Assisting program director in supporting families through phone coaching and follow-up calls
• Checking in with treatment team about changes and progress for individual patients
• Providing clinical observations and insights during interdisciplinary meetings
• Providing individual support to patients, as needed
• Providing support to other team members in various treatment groups
• Providing guidance and support for milieu staff during skills and executive functioning therapy activities/instruction
• Participating in discharge planning for patients
• Other duties, as assigned

Who You Are:

• Are a Psychologist or Master’s level therapist with clinical experience conducting intakes, individual therapy, and group therapy
• Have knowledge and experience of group dynamics utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), as well as other evidenced-based therapies
• Have experience with patients in crisis
• Have prior experience working in partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, inpatient hospital, or residential setting

• Possess a core skill set of Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
• Prefer a candidate that holds the following licenses or certifications or will require supervision towards: LCSW, LCPC, LPC, LSW, PsyD, or PhD
