Reporting to the Manager, Procurement, the Sourcing Specialist is responsible for procuring goods and/or services and supporting sourcing and purchasing needs for assigned stations/business units, providing industry, technical, and supply chain expertise. What The Role Is

Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Property Tax, the Tax Analyst will be responsible for the coordination of property tax returns for the Company and its subsidiaries. The Tax Analyst will also provide support with tax research and planning.

Reporting to the Manager of Wind Accounting, the Senior Accountant is responsible for financial data management, journal entries, account reconciliations, timely completion, and assistance with monthly and quarterly internal financial reporting, internal controls, and accounting for various components of Clearway. This person will also be responsible for other ad hoc projects as assigned, which will cover all aspects of accounting for Clearway’s Wind renewable energy projects. What The Role Is

Reporting to the Senior Director, Environmental Permitting, the Manager, Environmental Permitting, is responsible for leading and directing discretionary permitting and environmental survey activities in support of Clearway Energy Group’s 10 GW solar, wind, and storage project pipeline. Working closely with the Development Project Manager, and other groups such as Engineering and Real Estate, the Manager will lead and provide oversight in the development and acquisition of discretionary land use permits, environmental assessments, and surveys completed in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations for utility-scale solar, wind, and storage projects located in the western region of the United States. The successful candidate will have at least five years of environmental consulting, land use planning, or site land development experience within the renewable energy industry or related field, with demonstrated prior expertise in leading complex discretionary permitting activities for large capital projects. Experience in supporting project acquisition and financing due diligence is also preferred. Would consider a Senior Manager level. Title and level will be confirmed based on the qualifications of the selected candidate.

• Provide technical expertise for a pre-construction development portfolio (30 GW) of utility-scale generation solar, wind, and energy storage projects in the western region of the United States to ensure that projects obtain necessary discretionary entitlements and agency approvals and complete necessary diligence and survey activities in compliance with state and federal regulations that are required before commencing construction and achieving financial close.
• Develop a strategy with respect to discretionary permit processes and environmental compliance, including the schedule and budgets associated with those activities.
• Manage the entitlement process with local, state, and federal government authorities, including day-to-day interaction with city and county planning boards and state and federal permitting agencies.
• Manage a network of external consultants in the scoping of biological and cultural surveys and the preparation of diligence documents, including legal counsel for permit opinions and guidance.

The Operations Specialist II will play a key role in assisting the Operations Manager and Operations Engineer by assuring the highest level of safety, reliability and environmental standards while optimizing asset production and profitability. Reporting to the Senior Director, Market Optimization & Trading, the Manager of CRR & FTR Trading is responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing Clearway’s congestion management strategies through active participation in ERCOT and CAISO’s Congestion Revenue Rights (CRR) and Day-Ahead markets and the PJM Financial Transmission Right (FTR). This role focuses on identifying, analyzing, and monetizing congestion opportunities while managing the company’s nodal risk and basis exposure across its generation portfolio.  This role will also be tasked with developing hedging and risk management strategies across other parts of the portfolio. What The Role Is

Clearway Energy Group is looking for a Control Center Lead to join the Real-Time Operations Team in Scottsdale, AZ. Operating out of the Clearway Energy Group RPMC (Reporting and Performance Monitoring Center), the team currently monitors and controls 10 GW of utility-scale renewable energy plants, Wind, Solar, and BESS. The Control Center Lead will support on-shift Operations Specialists in daily operations and activities and will report directly to the Manager, Real-Time Operations. This position requires working 12.5 rotating shifts, including night, weekends, and holidays, to ensure continuous operations and monitoring of the CEG utility fleet.  

What You'll Be Doing

• Provide guidance and support to the on-shift Real-Time Operations Specialists in day-to-day job activities and responsibilities
• Manage the RCA and continuous improvement process regarding real-time operations issues, mistakes, and common practices
• Assist in proactively monitoring real-time activity, performance, and operational status of all wind, solar, and BESS assets
• Assist in Real-Time Operations Specialist in understanding and identifying abnormal operations or alarm conditions that arise during the shift and appropriately troubleshoot in a timely fashion
