Portadown Vauxhall
Contract Type: Permanent, Full Time
Salary: OTE up to £35,000. Basic Salary £29,000 per annum
Working Hours: Monday - Thursday 8am-5.30pm, Friday 8am to 5pm, Saturday 9am to 1pm on rota basis
Portadown Vauxhall is recruiting for an experienced and dedicated Service Advisor to join our Aftersales Team on site.
Joining our friendly aftersales team, you will be a team player with exceptional communication skills to build rapport with colleagues and customers. You will report to our aftersales manager who will help impact your knowledge and experience along with the team, allowing you to develop your skills and establish a strong career within the industry. This is an opportunity not to be missed!
As a Service Advisor, you will benefit from continuous training opportunities through our in-house brand development. This is a truly exciting opportunity with potential for progression opportunities!
Responsibilities
As a Service Advisor at our busy dealership you must have heaps of energy, a warm personality and a real passion for delivering a first class customer experience each and every time. You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport easily whilst being able to explain technical information in a way that is clear and concise. Previous experience using Kerridge / ADP would be an advantage, as well as having knowledge of other essential dealer systems.
You will be a great team player but be able to also work independently using your own initiative. We want to hear from you if you have worked in a similar role within the automotive industry and have a passion for customer service and cars!

Vehicle Technician – Charles Hurst Portadown, Vauxhall & Changan

Charles Hurst are recruiting for a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to join our fantastic workshop in Portadown. While working alongside other experienced technicians, you will play a vital role in carrying out vehicle health checks using the latest technology, conducting services, and completing repairs to the highest standards.
This is an exciting time to join us as we also welcome Changan – an innovative new brand to the UK market, with a strong focus on electric and hybrid technology. This role offers an incredible opportunity for someone already working as, or aspiring to become, an EV Specialist to level up their career and future-proof their skills.
You will report to the accomplished Aftersales Manager, who will provide ongoing support to ensure you have the tools needed to succeed. We also offer excellent training and career progression opportunities, including manufacturer-accredited schemes and Hybrid & Electric training to accelerate your career further.

Working in this critical role, our Parts Advisors are key to the smooth running of our Dealership. They are the first point of contact for our customers over the telephone so it’s vital they provide a welcoming experience. We receive a high volume of calls per day enquiring about vehicle parts and accessories, therefore we require someone who can cope with a high workload. This role will involve upselling parts and accessories, through inbound and outbound calls so we require a polite and professional individual, who is also capable of balancing a high workload. You must also be capable of liaising with all the departments in our dealership, including our Technician and Service teams.
Responsibilities
Skills and Experience
You’ll be a real go-getter with heaps of industry knowledge and demonstrable sales or telesales experience. It would be beneficial if you are someone who has automotive product expertise as well as a good technical understanding of automotive maintenance. Previous experience working as a Parts Telesales Representative for a dealership is preferred but not essential.
You must be a natural communicator with an excellent telephone manner, and be adept at negotiating, persuading, and influencing key stakeholders. You will be commercially astute, and a real results driven individual.
