Overview:
We are seeking an AI Infrastructure Engineer to design, build, and scale the foundational infrastructure that enables AI-driven development across the organization. This role will focus on building secure, production-grade systems that support intelligent agents, large language models (LLMs), and distributed AI tooling. The ideal candidate combines strong software engineering fundamentals with hands-on experience in AI infrastructure and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) experience.

The applicable base salary range for this role is $165,000-$200,000. The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.

The Data Platform Team builds and maintains the core database technologies and automation frameworks that power Capstone’s cutting-edge investment strategies. Our mission is to build a highly automated, self-service platform that enables teams across the firm to innovate at scale.
We are looking for a motivated technologist who thrives on solving complex challenges and designing resilient, secure, and high-performance systems. You will play a key role in shaping the firm’s next-generation data platform, with opportunities to learn advanced technologies and contribute to mission-critical systems. This role offers exceptional exposure to diverse areas of the hedge fund, providing opportunities to influence critical systems and deliver impactful solutions.
