🐾 The job:
Are you a fun, vibrant, dog lover and want to earn £45,000+ per Annum Realistic OTE? This could be the perfect role for you! We are looking for tenacious, animal-loving sales representatives to join our high performing sales team.
This is an excellent opportunity to earn uncapped commission whilst helping pet pawrents discover food that makes their cats and dogs thrive! We offer a genuinely supportive working environment and want driven individuals who match our passion and ethos. Top performers in the role are currently earning £85,000+ Per Annum.
The best part? You'll be contracted to work 16 day shifts per month— giving you more time for life, while still building a brilliant, high-earning career.
In this role, you'll represent Butternut Box at face-to-face selling opportunities across Newcastle and surrounding areas. Activations include shopping centres, food festivals, county shows, Christmas markets, exhibitions, dog shows and more.
- You’ll be attending events selling Butternut Box across the region, stopping potential customers and pitching our offering to them
- The majority of locations will be within 90 minutes of Newcastle. Any travel outside of 1 hour, mileage will be paid. Any travel 2 hours+, accommodation will be provided
- At times, you will be required to set up & break down our Butternut Box selling stand
👀 What we're looking for:
- Full clean UK driving licence and car is required
- Must be based a commutable distance from Newcastle
- Must have customer-facing experience & be looking for a career in sales - face to face selling experience is highly valued
- Must be 18 years old or older
- Hardworking and driven by sales
- Confident in large spaces and big crowds
- Have amazing interpersonal skills
- You’re a huge dog lover, of course!
⏳ The interview process:
- Initial call with your dedicated Talent Acquisition Partner, carried out remotely.
- Sometimes the process will include a sales pitch of some kind.
- Sales interview, usually carried out in person.
We usually expect our interview process to take 1-3 weeks, end to end.

- £102 per day as base pay and the sky's the limit with our uncapped commission structure

📣 A bit about the role:
- Butternut Box's mission is to deliver health and happiness to dogs all over the world with our fresh dog food and extras, delivered directly to customer's doors on a subscription model. To achieve our amazing growth targets, we are looking for passionate, driven, and fun Brand Ambassadors to join our high-performing sales teams. You will represent us at events, trade shows, and exhibitions across the country, engaging with dog owners and promoting the benefits of feeding fresh. If you love dogs, sales and flexible work - this could be the ideal role for you.
- Driving face to face sales: Engage with potential customers at top-tier events in Cork and surrounding areas, promoting Butternut Box in an ethical and inspirational manner. Shows include Crufts, Dogfest, Ideal Home Show etc (we go to over 900 a year as a business!).
- Educating dog parents: Inform and educate our customer base about the benefits of Butternut Box, ensuring they understand our commitment to high-quality, natural, fresh food.
- Building relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, fostering trust and loyalty.
- Achieving sales targets: Be target-driven, striving to exceed individual and team sales goals.
- Dog lover: It goes without saying that you must have a genuine affection for dogs and an understanding of their needs.
- Sales enthusiast: A passion for sales and a knack for connecting with people (and their dogs) is very impawtent.
- Customer focus: We strive to provide the best service possible, so a dedication to helping customers and their dogs is non negotiable.
- Target-oriented: The more dogs you help, the more you earn - tasty right?
- Available on weekends: The majority of our high impact events fall on a weekend, so it's imperative that you have generally good availability Friday - Sunday.
- Over age 18: Must be at least 18 years old to apply.
- Uncapped commission: Benefit from a commission structure with no caps, offering unlimited earning potential based on your sales performance. We also run regular sales incentives throughout the year (think gift cards, dinner vouchers and airbnb getaways).

Day Rate of €113 with On target earnings totalling between €275-€350 per day, but can reach upwards of €500 per day for our top salespeople!
