JOB SUMMARY
As a member of our Premier Buyer Account Management Team, the Buyer Account Manager - Mobile will drive GMV growth by servicing a group of large B2B mobile buyers. The Buyer Account Manager - Mobile will be responsible for supporting and growing mobile buyers by applying their experience in secondary-market mobile B2B sales, operations, and buyer management. Additionally, this individual will work cross-functionally with our seller account management, product, sales, marketing, and operations teams to provide further operational support. This person would report directly to the Vice President of Buyer Growth.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage a cohort of large mobile buyers (“Premier” buyers) currently purchasing on B-Stock
- Be a hyper-responsive single point of contact for Premier mobile buyers
- Drive cohort GMV, bidding activity, and dispute resolution
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of B-Stock’s business model, platform, solutions, and value
- Develop an in-depth knowledge of every B-Stock mobile marketplace, including inventory condition, schedules, inventory sources, individual facilities and their variances, inventory forecasts, and any other detail related to mobile transactions.
- Execute buyer outreach via phone call, email, and text
- Ensure successful transactions by providing excellent and consistent day-to-day operational support to buyers. Solve issues and remove barriers related to payments, shipping, or other services as needed
- Work closely with Seller Account Management, Product, CS, and other teams to resolve issues, identify improvement opportunities, and implement new processes for an improved Premier mobile buyer experience
- Reporting and analysis of large buyer acquisition and activity. Maintain Salesforce records for buyers
- Maintain constant awareness of the overall mobile industry, specifically secondary mobile markets, competitor activities, and challenges
- Exceed operational metrics: Total cohort buyer spend, buyer transaction growth, churned buyer rate, dispute rate
- Drive buyer onboarding: Successfully convert mobile prospects into active registered bidders by delivering demos, education, and high-touch platform support
- Up to 20% travel expectation, including relevant mobile trade shows, buyer visits, and more.
RESPONSIBILITIES, MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & JOB SKILLS
- 3+ years of experience with Enterprise B2B Liquidation Sales or Account Management in the Mobile secondary market
- Coachable and can work well independently and collaboratively
- Outgoing and personable disposition, eager to create new relationships, not afraid to call people
- Ability to manage expectations and drive the behavior of people with strong personalities
- Experience with, and/or an understanding of the marketplace business model
- Excellent executive function, follow-through, and resilience.
- Persuasive verbal communication skills
- Proven ability and willingness to work with tight deadlines and quick response times
- Proficient in MS Office or G-Suite, Salesforce.com, and other CRM platforms
- The ability to think creatively and find solutions to problems
- Experience managing a revenue target and quota
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge or Understanding of B2B e-commerce, ERP (enterprise resource planning), logistics software solutions, or SaaS (Software as a Service)
- Experience working in a start-up-like environment
- Desire to work in a detail-oriented environment with large transactions
- College degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field, or equivalent relevant experience
The pay rate for this role will range between $75,000 to $86,000, per annum. We consider many factors when determining salary offers, such as the applicant’s work experience, education and training, skills, market data, and internal equity.

JOB SUMMARY
B-Stock is looking for someone who brings energy, curiosity, and a strong sense of ownership. This isn’t a script-driven role—you’ll learn how to identify, engage, and grow relationships with buyers by understanding their needs and connecting them to the right opportunities on our platform.
You’ll start with warm accounts and quickly expand into building your own pipeline through thoughtful, targeted outreach. If you enjoy talking to people, are motivated to learn, and want to grow into owning a book of business, you’ll do well here.
As a Buyer Business Development Representative, you’ll drive growth within our large corporate buyer segment. You’ll build and manage a pipeline of buyers, convert high-value prospects, and increase transaction volume across your portfolio. The role blends outbound business development, consultative relationship-building, and strong operational execution.
You’ll partner closely with internal teams to ensure buyers are successfully onboarded, activated, and continuously growing on the platform. This role reports to the Vice President of Buyer Growth and is based in Boston (2–3 days in office), with up to 20% travel.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Buyer funnel development, focusing on large discount retailers and other organizations that focus on purchasing excess inventory
- Lead lifecycle process to build a pipeline of corporate buyers
- Buyer outreach, including calling, scheduling meetings, vetting prospects, and building relationships
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of B-Stock’s business model, platform, solutions, and value
- Listen actively to own and build trusting relationships with a subset of large and prospective buyers
- Increase platform adoption and transaction volume for the assigned buyer base
- Ensure successful transactions by providing excellent and consistent day-to-day operational support to buyers. Solve issues and remove barriers related to payments, shipping, or other services as needed
- Reporting and analysis of large buyer acquisition and activity. Maintain Salesforce records for buyers
- Maintain constant awareness of markets, competitor activities, and challenges within assigned targeted prospects
- Exceed operational metrics: Total buyer spend, new and activated large buyers, buyer transaction growth, churned buyer rate
- Up to 20% travel expectation, mostly to attend trade shows.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, JOB SKILLS, ABILITIES
- Coachable and can work well independently and collaboratively
- Outgoing and personable disposition, eager to create new relationships, eager to call people
- 1+ year(s) experience with Marketing, Sales, or Account Management
- Bachelor’s in business, marketing, entrepreneurship, or a related field.
- Experience with, and/or an understanding of the marketplace business model
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability and willingness to work with tight deadlines and quick response times
- Proficient in MS Office or G-Suite, Salesforce.com, and other CRM platforms
- The ability to think creatively and find solutions to problems
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in Liquidation Sales or Logistics and Supply Chain
- Experience managing a sales funnel and growing accounts
- Knowledge or Understanding of B2B e-commerce, ERP (enterprise resource planning), Logistic Software Solutions, or SaaS (Software as a Service)
- Experienced in working in a start-up-like environment
- Desire to work in a detail-oriented environment with large transactions
The pay rate for this role will range between $26.44 to $27.40 per hour. We consider many factors when determining salary offers, such as the applicant’s work experience, education and training, skills, market data, and internal equity. This role is eligible to participate in a performance-based OTE plan that ranges between $8,000 to $32,000 per annum.
