The Role
At Lucas Horsfall, an audit senior is responsible for detailed assurance and audit procedures for clients in a variety of industries. The position involves researching and analyzing financial statements and audit related issues and preparing thorough and accurate audit documentation in accordance with US GAAP, IFRS, PCAOB and firm standards. This position will train and develop staff. This role will be achieved in a hybrid environment out of our Pasadena, CA or Irvine, CA office location.

The Role
At Lucas Horsfall, a CAAS Manager is responsible for the client relationship of our mid-to-large-sized entities, advising clients on appropriate financial and visionary strategies. This position will mentor, train, and develop staff and seniors. The CAAS Manager is expected to play an active role in business development efforts. The Role
As a Tax Director in the Business Management group at Lucas Horsfall, you will oversee the Tax Department's operations, protocols, and team development. This role directs the preparation and review of complex federal and multi-state tax returns, with a strong emphasis on strategic planning and client advisory services. In addition to managing client engagements, the Tax Director establishes departmental standards, ensures compliance, and drives service excellence. They lead and mentor all tax staff, fostering growth through training, performance oversight, and technical guidance. The Role
As a Tax Leader at Lucas Horsfall, you will lead and manage all phases of business (1120, 1120S, 1065) and individual client tax advisory and compliance engagements. You will manage clients independently and carry out your outstanding project management, analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills. You will perform technical reviews of business and individual returns, participate in training and supervision of staff, conduct tax research, and advise on tax matters. Our company is team-oriented and prides itself on providing quality work and excellent customer relations in a friendly, superior working environment.

The pay range for this role is $135,000 - $200,000+ per year. This range includes the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position. Actual compensation may vary based on various factors, including experience, education, and/or skill level.

The Role
As a Tax Senior at Lucas Horsfall, you will prepare federal, state, local and special tax returns. You will carry out your outstanding project management, analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills. You will participate in training and supervision of staff, conduct tax research, and advise on tax matters. Our company is team-oriented and prides itself on providing quality work and excellent customer relations in a friendly, superior working environment. This role will be achieved in a hybrid work model (3 days per week in office) out of our Pasadena, Encino, or Irvine office locations.
