The opportunity

Altruist is hiring an experienced Product Marketing Manager to support our Investment product suite. This is an individual-contributor role reporting to the Director of Product Marketing. In close partnership with Product, Design, Sales, and other cross-functional teams, you will own end-to-end GTM strategy for key platform launches and lead stakeholder alignment and approvals.

This is a hybrid role based out of our San Francisco FiDi office, with three days per week in the office.

What you'll do

• Customer and market insights: Own qualitative, quantitative, and competitive research; translate insights into clear ICP definitions, segmentation, and actionable GTM strategies.
• Positioning and messaging: Develop positioning frameworks, value propositions, and messaging for core products and platform capabilities; ensure consistency and clarity across all customer-facing touchpoints.
• Launch management: Lead end-to-end GTM planning and execution for new features and product initiatives; partner with Design to produce high-quality launch and sales assets; manage stakeholder reviews and approvals.
• Growth and lifecycle programs: Partner with Product and Marketing to design and execute prospecting, onboarding, and lifecycle programs across web, email, webinars, and events; continuously experiment to reduce time-to-value and increase adoption.
• Measurement and optimization: Partner with Product and BI to define success metrics, build dashboards, monitor performance, and quickly act on insights to improve KPIs.
• Thought leadership: Collaborate with Comms and Content to develop narratives, POVs, and content that reinforce Altruist’s product leadership and differentiation.
• Sales enablement: Equip Sales and customer-facing teams with compelling collateral such as one-pagers, pitch decks, and case studies; create feedback loops to inform product and marketing strategy.

You'll lead a team of two compliance associates supporting these programs and partner directly with the Head of Compliance as a senior individual contributor on Written Supervisory Procedures (WSPs) and product compliance.

This is a player-coach role. You'll set multi-quarter strategy across the pillar, develop the talent on your team, and stay hands-on on the highest-leverage substantive work. You'll also serve as a trusted partner to executives across Product, Engineering, Legal, and Marketing, and as a lead point of contact for regulators on matters within scope.

Your impact

• Marketing Compliance — Own the program end-to-end, including the review and approval framework for product-specific communications, disclosures, and materials across web and app platforms under FINRA Rule 2210 and the SEC Marketing Rule.

• Drive remediation of material issues across the pillar; own the control environment and accountability for outcomes
• Identify, assess, and escalate emerging regulatory risk; recommend and implement enhancements to policies, systems, controls, and training

What you bring

• Experience — 10+ years of hands-on compliance experience at a broker-dealer and/or investment adviser, including 3+ years leading and developing teams. Demonstrated ownership of multiple compliance programs at scale, with comfort operating as a player-coach.
• Investment adviser compliance experience strongly preferred
• Prior experience in a fintech or high-growth financial services environment strongly preferred
• Program breadth — Direct experience owning at least two of: marketing compliance, third-party RIA regulatory requests, or employee compliance (licensing, registration, CE, and insider trading)

The opportunity

You’ll be the first technical hire on Hazel’s revenue team that requires you to be hands on and lead the revenue infrastructure for Hazel from the ground up. You'll define what a 0 to 1 AI native revenue operations stack looks like: laying the technical and data foundations, owning pipeline visibility, and partnering with our VP of Revenue to make sure sales capacity is working to their fullest. You're the person who makes the revenue team faster, sharper, and more accountable, and you have the technical depth to build what doesn't exist yet.

If you've led RevOps or GTM Engineering at a high-growth company, understand the full revenue lifecycle, and want to architect something from scratch inside one of the most exciting AI companies in fintech, this is the role.

What you'll do

• Design and build Hazel's full revenue tech stack (CRM, marketing automation, enrichment, sequencing, attribution) with a clear point of view on what we should build, buy, or integrate.
• Build AI-powered agents and workflows for lead qualification, outbound personalization, and rep productivity; owning the full system from data inputs to action and output.
• Leverage AI and automation to enhance system capabilities, reduce manual processes, and unlock productivity gains across revenue-generating functions
• Architect multi-step, agentic GTM systems that automate workflows across the funnel (research → enrichment → scoring → outreach → routing).
• Manage the revenue data warehouse – Own our Snowflake layer for GTM data; write or oversee the SQL and pipeline logic that powers forecasting, dashboards and board-level reporting.
• Evaluate vendor contracts, own integrations, and where needed, write or direct the Python/TypeScript code that connects systems and closes gaps off-the-shelf tools can't fill.
• Design lead routing, lifecycle stages, SLAs, and handoff logic between marketing, SDRs and AEs; ensure the system enforces the motion, not just documents it.

What you'll bring

• 8+ years in Revenue Operations, GTM Engineering, or Sales Operations, including direct experience where you were the one who actually built the GTM stack.
• Proven track amplifying  a sales team's output, not just maintained tooling, but architected systems that changed how the team goes to market.
• Strong technical fluency: comfortable with APIs, Webhooks, SQL and a revenue data warehouse (Snowflake, BigQuery, or Databricks), experienced with CRM platforms (HubSpot or Salesforce) at an admin/architect level, and the ability to write Python/Javascript code.
• Experience designing and deploying AI-powered GTM workflows, whether through LLM APIs, Clay, or custom-built tooling, with a bias toward automation that removes friction from the revenue motion.
• A foundational understanding of pipeline economics, forecasting methodology, and how GTM systems decisions ripple into revenue outcomes.
• Comfort building in ambiguity. You make decisions with incomplete information, move fast, and clean up as you scale.

Bonus points

• Experience scaling GTM at a company that sold an AI-native or technically complex product, where the buyer education motion was non-standard.
• Background in analytics engineering (dbt, Fivetran, Segment) or data infrastructure.
• Prior experience as the founding or first RevOps hire at an early-stage company. You know what it means to set up a function from scratch.
• Familiarity with LLM APIs (Anthropic, OpenAI) used to build GTM workflows. You can build AI native lead qualification agents, call summarization, email personalization, products etc.

Leveling & compensation

Competitive base + equity. This is a foundational hire; we expect to pay for proven capability. This role has a target compensation range of $250,000-$300,000. Final level and compensation is individualized and will be determined based on overall experience, qualifications, and interview performance.

This is a founding role in a rapidly expanding space, where a hands-on individual contributor will define Hazel’s voice, positioning, and the story we tell to the market. We’re looking for someone who brings strong content strategy instincts, obsesses over language, genuinely enjoys spending much of their day writing and editing, and takes ownership of projects from first draft through final result. 

You’ll translate sophisticated AI capabilities into messaging that advisors immediately understand and trust. You’ll partner cross-functionally across Product, Marketing, Design, Sales, and Compliance to ensure Hazel’s story is clear, consistent, compliant, and effective at every touchpoint.

We’re looking for someone who can zoom out to shape strategy, positioning, and messaging and zoom in to refine a single sentence until it’s exactly right.

This is a high-impact, senior individual contributor role responsible for architecting, building, and operating the AWS-based infrastructure that powers our broker-dealer and clearing platform. You will own critical infrastructure domains end-to-end and drive technical decisions that affect the reliability, security, and scalability of systems handling real financial transactions.

As the industry evolves rapidly with generative AI and agentic workflows, we need engineers who combine deep AWS and Kubernetes expertise with the vision and initiative to define how AI/ML tools and patterns can transform infrastructure operations, developer productivity, and platform resilience. Your impact

• Lead key elements of Altruist’s regulatory compliance programs for its FINRA-member broker-dealer and SEC-registered investment adviser
• Serve as a strategic compliance partner on new product initiatives, setting compliance guardrails, resolving issues, and making risk-based determinations in consultation with senior stakeholders
• Act as a subject matter expert on product and marketing compliance under SEC and FINRA rules, advising business and marketing teams
• Oversee the review and approval of product-specific communications, disclosures, and materials across web and app platforms

• Support ad-hoc initiatives aligned with evolving business priorities

What you bring

• Experience: 7+ years of hands-on compliance experience at a broker-dealer and investment adviser, with an emphasis on product and/or marketing compliance
  • Investment adviser compliance experience strongly preferred
  • Prior experience in a fintech or high-growth financial services environment strongly preferred
• Regulatory expertise - Strong knowledge of FINRA and SEC rules, paired with sound judgment and the ability to apply regulations in a practical, solutions-oriented manner
• Education - Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) in a relevant field
• Securities licenses - Series 7 and Series 24 required; Series 4 preferred or required within 90 days of hire
