OCS Technologies, an Accredited Labs company, is seeking a qualified Scale repair technician to support on-site calibration services for customers throughout Northeast Ohio and Western Pennsylvania.

Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Inspect, maintain, calibrate, and repair mechanical and electronic weighing equipment
- Complete accurate and timely calibrations and repairs on customer sites
- Perform routine and complex repairs and calibration on a wide range of scales per company processes and instruction documentation
- Perform repairs and calibrations on various weighing equipment in accordance with established procedures and standards
- Working directly with clients throughout the process from the first onsite touch point to completion of the project, including great communication to provide client updates to services needed
- Interact professionally with customers, providing excellent service and support
- Ensure all activities comply with industry regulations and quality standards
- Collect and measure data to support calibration traceability & documentation
- Maintain records and documentation, ensuring all data is accurate and up to date

- Have the ability to learn mechanical and technical skills quickly
- Can adapt to multiple different work environments and settings - including Laboratory and Industrial settings
- Are customer-oriented with excellent communication skills.
- Are a person who is punctual, respectful, and honest with a positive attitude

- Have a strong work ethic
Basic Qualifications:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Able to lift 50lbs, with no physical limitations of your hands, back or legs
- Able to climb, kneel, drive and stand for long periods of time
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word
- Excellent customer service skills
- Good organizational and prioritization skills
- Must have a valid driver's license and proof of insurance
- Basic math skills with attention to details
Nice to have:
- Calibration Experience within ISO 17025 Quality Systems
- Knowledge of principles, procedures, methods and techniques in metrology gained through education, or professional experience
- Knowledge and experience with Electrical, Physical, and/or Mechanical Calibration of equipment
- Experience working with Manufacturers' Quality Systems
- Associate's degree in Engineering, Electronics or other Technical Fields
- Technical Degree or Certificate
- Military PMEL Training
- Metrology experience
- Experience with IndySoft

As a Calibration Technician, you will travel to various customer locations in the Dallas Fort Worth and surrounding areas to execute various forms of maintenance to weighing devices by servicing and calibrating their weighing equipment. Your day-to-day would include inspecting, maintaining, calibrating and repairing mechanical and electronic weighing equipment to ensure the accuracy and reliability of weighing equipment in all environments.

Service Technician - Repair (ETI)

ETI Precision is looking for a talented Service (Repair) Technician to join its growing team in Frederick, MD! This is a full-time role offering competitive pay and great benefits. Service Technician evaluates, troubleshoots, repairs and calibrates a variety of test and measurement equipment. This critical equipment is maintained and periodically calibrated for conformance to established industry and customer standards. The Service Technician will work with Calibration Technicians, Assembly Technicians and Repair Specialists in servicing customer equipment as prioritized by senior management. This position reports to the Production Manager. The Service Technician is primarily responsible for supporting ETI calibration, assembly and repair/retrofit activities.
Location: Office in Frederick, MD and surrounding areas.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Evaluating units for repair, performing research for replacement components, creating repair estimates, and executing on approved repairs
- Troubleshooting problems, adjusting and calibrating customer and ETI owned instrumentation and equipment
- Managing customer engagements focused on complete and timely responses to inquiries and requests for action
- Assisting Regional Service and Production Managers by supporting activities that drive timely turnaround of equipment
- Assist in the assembly of ETI equipment as requested
Basic Qualifications:
- At least two years of experience in a related field required - Electrical or mechanical calibration experience as well as military PMEL, METCAL, or TMDE training preferred
- Basic technical knowledge of electronic principles to troubleshoot equipment calibration issues in the field.
- Experience using diagrams, schematics, engineering data, and test equipment is required
- Able to discuss technical issues common to the products and services ETI provides (verbally and in writing) with customers, suppliers and internal associates; (English language)
- Ability and willingness to travel to customers’ locations throughout the United States as needed
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and pass a background security check
