Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Applied Data Scientist with expertise in building agentic systems and autonomous agents to join one of our R&D. You will be at the core of transforming our supply chain solutions into a fully agentic platform — designing and building agents that autonomously generate analytical pipelines, orchestrate multi-step reasoning, and resolve complex logistics challenges for our customers. You will combine strong machine learning and deep learning expertise with the ability to architect and implement production-grade agentic systems, working closely with engineering, product, and domain experts to push the boundaries of what autonomous AI can do in supply chain.

Responsibilities:

• Design and build autonomous agentic systems that generate, configure, and execute analytical pipelines to solve supply chain challenges end-to-end
• Architect multi-agent workflows with planning, tool use, memory, and feedback loops — enabling agents to reason, adapt, and improve over time
• Develop and integrate ML and deep learning models (e.g., predictive models, anomaly detection, demand forecasting) as core capabilities within agentic pipelines
• Research and apply state-of-the-art techniques in agentic AI, LLM orchestration, and multi-agent systems to production use cases
• Translate complex logistics and supply chain challenges into agent-based problem formulations, collaborating closely with product and domain experts
• Define and implement rigorous evaluation frameworks for agent performance: correctness, reliability, robustness, and edge-case handling
• Collaborate with software engineers to productionize agentic solutions — including testing, monitoring, versioning, and iterative improvement
• Contribute to team practices: reproducible code, experiment tracking, documentation, and knowledge sharing

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in applied data science or ML in a product environment, with demonstrated experience building agentic systems or autonomous agents
• MSc in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
• Proven track record designing and implementing multi-step agentic pipelines, including LLM-based agents, tool use, planning loops, and memory mechanisms
• Hands-on experience with agentic frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen, or equivalent
• Strong Python coding skills; familiar with Spark for large-scale, distributed data processing
• Experience with LLM APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, Bedrock, open-source models) and prompt engineering for agentic use cases
• Experience performing rigorous model evaluation (baselines, cross-validation, error analysis) and defining evaluation strategies for agent behavior
• Strong communication and collaboration skills; able to work across engineering, product, and supply chain domain experts and iterate fast

Nice to Have (Advantages)

• Experience with multi-agent architectures, agent-to-agent communication protocols, and agent orchestration at scale
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and MLOps practices (CI/CD for ML, model monitoring, drift detection)

About the Role

Pagaya is seeking an experienced data scientist to join our Model Validation team. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of data science knowledge and analytical skills, understanding in Finance and an understanding of the regulatory landscape of credit lending. As a core team member, you will work closely with model developers to assess model performance, data quality, conceptual soundness, and produce thorough, compliant documentation for regulatory review, ensuring our models meet the highest standards. As a Sr. Data Scientist, you will be spearheading the analysis of tens of thousands of patient-therapist conversations, working closely with our leadership, product, and clinical experts team, to derive insights that directly improve therapy sessions for thousands of people. Who are you?

• +5 years of proven industry experience as a data scientist
• +3 years of experience in Python (production grade coding)
• Proven experience in developing and delivering end-to-end AI models, from data cleaning, feature engineering, algorithm development, and implementation in production
• Experience with NLP, LLM applications and Generative AI
• Experience in Speech & Audio domain (e.g., Speech-to-text, Speakers Separation, Diarization, Speaker identification) – advantage

Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) – advantage

We are seeking a Senior Scientist to join the MyHeritage Science Team, an innovative research team that works with one of the largest DNA datasets in the world. In this critical role, you will build new features and algorithms and improve existing ones, including ethnicity estimation, relationship inference, and prediction of phenotypic traits. This work directly impacts millions of users by providing them with accurate information on their ancestry and family connections.

You will apply state-of-the-art science and cutting-edge methods to analyze millions of DNA samples and family trees. Your efforts will help users worldwide discover their heritage and connect with family through science.

What you’ll do

• Work with a huge volume of genetic and genealogical data, which includes the genomes of over 8 million people around the world and billions of genealogical records.
• Develop and expand the company’s DNA analysis toolset, combining bioinformatics, population and statistical genetics, and machine learning, and testing new ideas stemming from both the product perspective and the scientific literature.
• Take ownership of end-to-end development of state-of-the-art DNA products, from conception through research, development and engineering, all the way to mature products released to millions of people worldwide.
• Work closely with engineering, product, and data teams to translate research outcomes into user-facing features and tools.
• Clearly communicate scientific concepts and progress internally and externally.
• Work with bright DNA researchers in a vibrant intellectual environment.

What you bring

• Advanced degree (ideally Ph.D.) in Genetics, Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, or a related quantitative field; and 2+ years of relevant experience in industry or postdoctoral studies.
• Strong background in:
• Population genetics and/or statistical genetics.
• Analysis of genotyping or sequencing data.
• Genomic data pipelines and bioinformatics tools.
• Machine learning or statistical modeling applied to biological data.
• Interrogating and troubleshooting data.
• Strong programming skills in Python/R, using scientific and machine learning toolboxes.
• Hands-on expertise in large-scale parallel computing platforms (cloud computing (AWS), computer clusters, Spark, etc.).
• Proficiency in Python and familiarity with production-scale computational pipelines.
• Familiarity with tools such as Snakemake, Airflow, or other pipeline managers is an advantage.
• Experience with AWS is an advantage.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
