THE ROLE
Everpure Cloud Dedicated (formerly Cloud Block Store) is Pure’s enterprise storage solution running in the public cloud. It brings the same features customers know from FlashArray - like data reduction (deduplication and compression), snapshots, encryption, and replication - directly into AWS and Azure. Because we reduce how much data actually needs to be stored and how many native cloud disks are required, customers can run their workloads in the cloud with lower storage cost and predictable performance instead of over‑provisioning native cloud volumes.
The service has been in production since 2019, serving enterprise, SaaS, and multicloud customers. It also acts as the storage engine for other Everpure Cloud offerings, such as Everpure Cloud Azure Native, where Azure users consume Pure storage as a native Azure service.
Our Prague‑based team owns the project on both AWS and Azure end‑to‑end. We design and build the core storage architecture, handle resiliency and performance work, and drive deployment and upgrade mechanisms. We also work closely with product managers, support, and field teams on customer issues and roadmap priorities. Because we run on top of AWS and Azure, we must deeply understand their building blocks (VMs, disks, networking, databases) and how Purity behaves on top of them.
For this role, we are looking for engineers who are curious about how things really work in the cloud, enjoy solving complex distributed‑systems problems, and are comfortable in a fast‑changing environment. Unlike traditional hardware projects, our work has to keep pace with new cloud services and features. You will help us evaluate new AWS and Azure capabilities and integrate them into our product to improve resiliency, performance, and cost efficiency for customers - while keeping the familiar, “FlashArray‑like” experience that Pure is known for.

The FlashArray team builds the industry’s most innovative, high-performance, and highly available portfolio of products that are designed for the most demanding mission-critical applications. While we deliver a hardware storage array, over 90% of our engineering staff are software engineers. Our customers are the most important part of our business, and they love FlashArray for its simplicity of management, the constant flow of new and exciting upgrades, and the ability to live on the cutting edge of technology while never taking downtime, ever. Most recently, we extended the value of our FlashArray capabilities into the cloud with CloudSnap and Cloud Block Store for AWS. These new innovations enable our customers to leverage the agility of the public cloud for both traditional IT and cloud-native applications.
This particular role is for a security-minded software engineer.

THE ROLE
Everpure Cloud Azure Native is already live and generally available—we’ve shipped the first version of the service, and we’re now focused on making it better every quarter: expanding use cases, entering new markets, and raising the bar on reliability and developer experience.
Our Foundation team owns a Go‑based control‑plane service that orchestrates how customers consume enterprise‑grade block storage natively in Azure. Around it, we work with a modern cloud stack including Temporal and other platform services for workflows, automation, and observability. This is a production cloud service, not an internal tool: the code you write directly shapes how customers deploy, scale, and operate storage in their Azure environments.
This is a rare opportunity to work on a core storage service in a major public cloud, in a joint effort between Everpure and Microsoft. You’ll design and evolve APIs and service behavior that sit in the critical path of real workloads, collaborating closely with engineers across both companies.
We move fast without breaking customers: clear API contracts, long‑lived interfaces, solid test automation, and CI/CD are part of the job, not side projects. If you want to own services end‑to‑end, solve real distributed systems problems in the public cloud, and see your work reflected directly in how Azure customers use storage, this is the place to do it.

We are building an inference platform that makes every kind of foundation model — text, vision, audio, and emerging multimodal architectures — fast, reliable, and effortless to deploy at massive scale. To deliver on that promise, we need an engineer who can make the platform behave flawlessly under extreme load and recover gracefully when the unexpected happens.
In this role you will own the reliability, performance, and observability of the entire inference stack. Your day starts with designing and refining telemetry pipelines — metrics, logs, and traces that turn hundreds of terabytes of signal into clear, actionable insight. From there you might tune Kubernetes autoscalers to squeeze more efficiency out of GPUs, craft Terraform modules that bake resilience into every new cluster, or harden our request-routing and retry logic so even transient failures go unnoticed by users. When incidents do arise, you’ll rely on the automation and runbooks you helped create to detect, isolate, and remediate problems in minutes, then drive the post-mortem culture that prevents recurrence. All of this effort points toward a single goal: scaling the platform smoothly while hitting aggressive cost and reliability targets.
Success in the role calls for deep fluency with Kubernetes, Prometheus, Grafana, Terraform, and the craft of infrastructure-as-code. You script comfortably in Python or Bash, understand the nuances of alert design and SLOs for high-throughput APIs, and have spent enough time in production to know how distributed back-ends fail in the real world. Experience shepherding GPU-heavy workloads — whether with vLLM, Triton, Ray, or another accelerator stack — will serve you well, as will a background in MLOps or model-hosting platforms. Above all, you care about building self-healing systems, thrive on debugging performance from kernel to application layer, and enjoy collaborating with software engineers to turn reliability into a feature users never have to think about.
If the idea of safeguarding the infrastructure that powers tomorrow’s multimodal AI energizes you, we’d love to hear your story.
