Sales Systems Engineer

At Veeam, Sales Systems Engineers work closely with field sales teams and help to evangelize our product offerings to our partners, resellers and end users. What you'll do
- Engage with end users and Veeam partners to establish and translate business objectives into technical requirements.
- Create content and deliver presentation and demonstrations to varying numbers and levels of decision makers, virtually and in person.
- Manage the technical evaluation stage of the sales process as a main technical advisor for Veeam solutions.
- Providing pre-sales assistance to customers as they evaluate Veeam software (i.e. POCs, Hands-on Labs, Bootcamps).
- Record and maintain accurate and up-to-date details of customer and partner engagement activities on the CRM platform (Salesforce)
- Working closely with Veeam’s value-added resellers on training, joint meetings and building relationships.
- Support lead generation activities such as events, webinars, user groups, etc.
- Working closely with Veeam Product Development and Engineering to provide customer feedback.
- Active participation and collaboration with cross functional teams on various strategic initiatives that increases efficiencies and add long term value to the company (i.e. TCO & ROI calculators, hands-on-labs).
What you'll bring
- Demonstrable experience working in a pre-sales role in IT.
- Prior experience using or deploying Veeam solutions.
- VMCE certification would be very advantageous; all SEs can obtain VMCE and VMCA certifications once in the role.
- Have deep experience with virtualization technologies (VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V, Nutanix AHV), and associated technologies (SANs, hyper-converged storage, networking).
- Have a working knowledge of public clouds (Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
- Have a working knowledge of key SaaS platforms such as Microsoft Office 365 and Salesforce.
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Be comfortable presenting to groups, both remotely and in person.
- Be available to travel across the Nordics.
- Be a self-starter with the ability to learn new technologies quickly.
- Be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where roles and responsibilities change quickly.

Role Overview
The Senior Forward Deploy Engineer for ND8 is a hybrid role responsible for hands-on deployment execution and ongoing technical account ownership across the Nordic region. This role combines the execution depth of a Forward Deploy Engineer with the long-term ownership and customer leadership of a Technical Account Manager.
In the early phases of engagement, the Senior FDE leads platform bring-up, deployment execution, and initial workload onboarding. Once customers are live, the same engineer remains the primary technical owner, driving adoption, operational maturity, reliability, and expansion across multiple countries and sites.
This role reports into the Sr. Director of Customer Success & Delivery, EMEA & ANZ and is intentionally designed to avoid fragmented ownership between deployment and post-sale success. Success is measured by deployment quality, speed to production, customer confidence, platform adoption, retention, and expansion.
Key Responsibilities
Deployment execution and platform bring-up
- Lead end-to-end deployment of Armada platforms including Atlas, Galleon with AEP, and Leviathan AI Factory integrated with Bridge GPU-as-a-Service
- Execute deployments across the ND8 region, including multi-country and multi-site environments
- Own infrastructure bring-up, platform configuration, and production readiness validation
- Make real-time technical decisions across hardware, networking, Kubernetes, storage, and GPU layers
Technical account ownership and customer success
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for assigned ND8 customers post go-live
- Own the technical success plan, adoption milestones, and operational maturity roadmap
- Build trusted, long-term relationships with customer engineering, platform, security, and data teams
- Lead technical governance discussions, roadmap planning, and platform optimization conversations
Joint Success Plan ownership
- Build, maintain, and actively drive Joint Success Plans (JSPs) for each assigned customer
- Align deployment milestones, platform adoption, and operational maturity to customer business objectives
- Use the Joint Success Plan as the primary framework for prioritization, execution, risk management, and value tracking
- Regularly review progress against success plans with customer stakeholders and Armada leadership
- Ensure JSPs inform deployment sequencing, adoption strategy, roadmap discussions, and expansion planning
- Surface risks, dependencies, and blockers early and drive resolution with clear ownership
Time-to-value acceleration and adoption
- Reduce time-to-try and time-to-value by unblocking workloads and accelerating early production use cases
- Drive adoption across new workloads, business units, and countries
- Identify expansion opportunities including additional Galleon deployments and Leviathan AI Factory capacity through Bridge GPUaaS
Operational excellence and reliability
- Ensure customer environments remain stable, secure, and production-ready
- Proactively identify scaling risks, architectural gaps, and technical debt
- Coordinate with Product, Engineering, and Support teams to resolve issues efficiently
Data residency, security, and regulatory execution
- Operate confidently within ND8 data residency, privacy, and security expectations including GDPR-aligned requirements
- Support customer security reviews, audits, and governance processes
- Balance global delivery standards with local regulatory nuance and customer expectations
- Maintain disciplined access control, documentation, and operational hygiene
Field leadership and mentorship
- Act as a senior technical presence for ND8 customers, setting the bar for execution and professionalism
- Mentor junior FDEs, TAMs, and delivery engineers as the region scales
- Contribute to deployment standards, runbooks, and repeatable best practices
Cross-functional collaboration
- Partner closely with the Sr. Director of Customer Success & Delivery, EMEA & ANZ on NB8 priorities and escalations
- Work with Sales on expansion planning while maintaining a trusted post-sale posture
- Provide structured feedback to Product and Engineering teams based on real-world ND8 customer usage
Qualifications and Experience
- 8+ years of experience in infrastructure, platform engineering, SRE, forward-deployed engineering, or technical account roles
- Proven ability to own both hands-on delivery and long-term customer technical relationships
- Deep technical expertise across Linux, networking, Kubernetes, storage, and GPU-accelerated compute
- Strong troubleshooting skills in live, production environments
- Experience supporting customers across multiple European countries
- Willingness to travel within the ND8 region as required
- Clear, confident communication style suited for executive and senior engineering audiences
Preferred Experience
- Experience with edge compute, modular data centers, or distributed infrastructure
- Familiarity with AI workloads, GPU clusters, and high-performance computing environments
- Exposure to regulated, sovereign, or government-adjacent environments
- Experience operating in Nordic or EU-regulated markets
- Comfort operating with ambiguity and owning outcomes end to end

We are looking for a Senior Quantum Field Engineer. As a Senior Quantum Field Engineer, you’ll be part of a team whose mission is to lead IonQ on its journey to build the world’s best quantum solutions and solve the world’s most complex problems. Field Engineering sits at the intersection of customers, markets, products and product teams, algorithms, applications, innovation and strategy - this is the team where ideas become applied and have impact.
Join a nimble team of scientists, engineers, salespeople, marketers, business developers, and product managers to drive an entirely new quantum computing business. We’re seeking versatile engineers and architects skilled in technical sales, technical demos and customer interactions who feel energized to deliver IonQ’s quantum computing products and quantum applications.
Responsibilities:
- Inspire prospective clients by explaining IonQ’s strategy, portfolio and answering technical questions about quantum portfolio (compute, network, security, sensing and space) and quantum applications.
- Lead and shepherd client discussions, inspiring them to see how quantum applications can be implemented in their business domain.
- This includes working through business needs and mapping Quantum Algorithms (financial services, bioscience, chemistry and materials, optimization, generative AI, and other domains) into application code and executing Proof-of-Concepts together with the IonQ Application team.
- Share insights from clients with the IonQ Product Management and Engineering teams such that client feedback is incorporated into our products.
- Navigate competitive objection handling
- Translate business needs expressed by our clients into technical work projects in collaboration with other team members.
- Create assets to explain features of our quantum applications and other IonQ quantum products.
- Move dialogs from initial ideation to focused exploration domain through to proof-of-concept and ultimately into production workflows.
- Lead client discovery sessions for business-oriented use cases that uncover potential overlap with development of useful quantum algorithms together with the IonQ Application team
- Partner with marketing, developer relations and business development to grow awareness of IonQ in the world at large.
- Attend industry conferences, as needed, to talk to client and support our booth activities.
- Some travel expected in the US (20%) but opportunities for global travel are available as well for client meeting and IonQ conference activities.
- This is a technical customer-facing role with the appropriate balance of compensation acceleration for success and a base salary to ensure that credibility and technical correctness always come first.
You’d be a good fit with:
- 5 years of experience in technical customer-facing roles or equivalent capacity. The ability to communicate (at the various context-appropriate levels of depth) and persuade clearly, have strong EQ, and other customer facings skills are critical.
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science, or other STEM field, such as Chemistry, Physics or Engineering
- Motivated learner with a strong interest in quantum computing.

Com4 is a leading global service provider in the Internet of Things (IoT), also known as “Machine to Machine” (M2M). We offer mobile data subscriptions tailored to our customers' applications in their connected devices and equipment. A central element of our core network is our IP/MPLS network, which connects network elements across our various data centers and forms the interface toward our customers and partners/providers of peering, IP Transit, and IPX/GRX. We have solutions for several VPN variants adapted for business customers with dedicated APNs and diverse communication needs. We make extensive use of MPLS in both IP and mobile network elements for efficient service production. FW and NAT solutions are important security elements in our design. About the Role
As an IP Network Engineer, you will develop and operate a modern network based on IP/BGP/MPLS/OSPF protocols. You will join our team of highly skilled engineers responsible for both IP and IT operations, where you will be one of three dedicated specialists focusing specifically on the IP domain. We are seeking someone with the competence and commitment to ensure a scalable and flexible IP network with high uptime. The role also involves providing technical customer support and guidance for IPsec implementations, ensuring secure and reliable connectivity for our clients, and implementing automation practices around these technologies.
We will consider both senior candidates with extensive experience and juniors with shorter experience, and can adapt tasks and responsibilities in line with the candidate's profile.
We are looking for someone who is solution-oriented and fearless when facing complicated tasks. We value good cooperation and communication skills, while it is also crucial to work independently and proactively within your own field of expertise.
To further strengthen our technical team, we are looking for an IP Network Engineer who has competence or experience in several of the following areas, as well as an interest in learning more:
- Experience with development and/or operation of networks—preferably from an ISP, MNO/MVNO, or similar consultancy.
- IP/MPLS network protocols (IP, OSPF, IS-IS, MPLS, BGP, VPN, L2TP).
- Technical support and implementation of IPsec VPN solutions for customers.
- Knowledge of or experience with Private Cloud and virtualization platforms, specifically OpenStack and Red Hat OpenShift (Kubernetes).
- Firewall and NAT implementations.
- OSS tools for logging and network monitoring such as NetFlow, Icinga, Splunk, Grafana, Telegraf.
- Network systems and protocols such as DNS, NTP, DHCP, RADIUS, SMTP, SNMP, Streaming Telemetry, BMP, BGP-LS.
- Advantageous with knowledge of APN/VPN application in mobile operations.
- Security architecture and experience with network segregation and micro-segmentation.
- Advantageous with an interest in and knowledge of network automation and the use of Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Ansible and Terraform.
- Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent are a plus.
- Advantageous with general IT competence, such as basic IT system operations, scripting, and simple programming.

Product Assurance Engineer, Launch Operations (m/f/d)
Mission Brief
As a Product Assurance Engineer, Launch Operations, you will join our team on the beautiful arctic island of Andøya to perform test and launch campaigns of our Spectrum launch vehicle. You will act as a control instance for the quality and compliance of ground equipment, processes, and procedures, while also closely working with our Quality department based in Germany to ensure the quality of the flight hardware.
To do so, you will carry out in-process and final inspections, document reviews, and follow-up non-conformance reports. You will be following established processes, but will also have the opportunity to introduce new frameworks tailored to this launch site.
Your Role in Our Space Mission:
- Shape and advance framework for product control at the Andøya launch site
- Carry out in-process and final inspections or hardware and operations – involving ground and flight systems
- Be involved in and follow-up on acceptance testing of flight hardware
- Review processes and procedures, and enforce the applicable document management
- Follow-up on non-conformance reports and risks, including the mitigating actions
- Set-up and maintain calibration plans for tools, equipment and systems
- Ensure proper and continuous documentation
Qualification Checklist
- Relevant engineering qualification or engineering bachelor’s or master’s degree
- Experience in quality inspections and assurance involving hardware (preferably including assemblies)
- Experience with document management
- Experience with non-conformity processes and root cause analysis
- Ability to perform in high-stress environments
