About the Role
At Veeam, Service Provider Systems Engineers work closely with sales and help to evangelize, inform, educate and influence service providers of our product offerings to drive growth for their businesses. As a trusted customer advocate / advisor the Service Provider Engineer will help our customers understand the best practices around building and operating a profitable Veeam Cloud Service Provider environment.
The work will focus on data management for cloud service provider technologies within a service providers data centre with knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS) & Google Cloud Platform (GCP) being beneficial. A deep understanding of the service provider market is required, including the personas and motivations of key implementors and decision makers in the space. You will regularly take part in deep-dive education and design exercises.
In this role, you will leverage your ability to manage changing priorities in a high growth service provider native business unit environment along with a passion for designing and building solutions. You will be responsible for the overall design and mapping of prospect’s business requirements, including working with these clients to assess current state processes and tools, identify Veeam platform solution options, define solution requirements, define and scope/estimate integration requirements, and develop overall architecture points of view. The ability to connect technology with measurable business value is critical to this role. You should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, products, and technical challenges.

Job Description
Rhombus’ Data Engineers are instrumental in designing and implementing data engineering activities on topical, mission-driven projects that inform our national security agenda. They analyze, build, and maintain our organization’s data infrastructure and processing systems. As a Data Engineer, you’ll perform various code development and query needs for integration with new and existing applications, dashboards and machine learning pipelines. You’ll work cross functionally with other departments and utilize your skills at all stages of the analytics pipeline to create results that drive business values and customer success! You’ll be asked to travel to client sites where you’ll engage and collaborate directly with the client to discuss data pipelines, solutioning, and to ensure a strong client connection.
