About the Role

iCapital is looking for a Full-Stack Engineer to join the iCapital Identity Platform team. This role will help define and deliver new features for one or more of iCapital's software platforms. You will work closely with Product Management and Design throughout the software development lifecycle—scoping requirements, reviewing work in progress, and addressing issues uncovered during automated and manual testing.

The iCapital Identity frontend uses TypeScript, React, GraphQL, and Relay. The backend is built in Elixir/Phoenix, with some Goand Node.js, backed by PostgreSQL. Our infrastructure runs on AWS and is provisioned using Terraform.

Responsibilities:

• Leverage an Elixir + Phoenixbackend running on Amazon’s latest serverless technologies to power a TypeScript + React frontend
• Support existing products and features while helping design and build new ones
• Design and develop integrations with other iCapital platforms
• Collaborate regularly with stakeholders and partners to gather requirements, seek feedback, and provide updates

Qualifications:

• 10–15+ years of experience in a related field
• Strong understanding of modern browser technologies and web fundamentals (HTTP, cookies, CSP, CORS, etc.)
• Extensive experience developing full-stack web applications
• Experience in collaborative environments where engineers define project vision, influence technical strategy, and continuously learn
• Strong relational database fundamentals
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated proficiency and professional success coding in at least one programming language
• Experience with Linux and strong command-line skills

Preferred/Additional Experience 

• Writing production-ready code in Elixir, TypeScript, JavaScript, Go, or Ruby

• Optimizing queries in PostgreSQL
• Developing with React, Vue, Angular, or LiveView
• Deploying and configuring applications on Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Prior experience in a security or penetration-testing role
• Querying Google BigQuery or other large relational datasets

As a Senior Data Scientist, you will guide the design and delivery of models that operate in real time across our global payment network.
