We are looking for a Back End/Full Stack Engineer who values creativity and user experience as much as great code and curiosity. As an engineer on the Consumer Retention team, you will work with an enthusiastic team of engineers focused on the stages of the customer journey across multiple devices and surfaces, increasing customer loyalty and reducing subscription churn. What You’ll Do:

• Participate in all aspects of agile software development, including design, implementation, and deployment.

About You:

BA/BS in Computer Science, a related degree, or 4+ years of practical experience.

• You have hands-on, production-level experience across significant parts of our technology stack: 
• Backend: Java, Kotlin, SpringBoot, RabbitMQ, MySQL, MongoDB.
• Frontend: ReactJS, Next.js.
• You have experience and enthusiasm for testing, test-driven development, and building reliable systems.

About the Job:

As a Database Administrator/Reliability Engineer, you’ll take ownership of the performance, reliability, and data governance of our cloud-managed database platforms, primarily CloudSQL(MySQL) and MongoDB. A key part of the role is driving data lifecycle management — including pruning, archiving, and retention policies — to ensure our platform remains clean, compliant, and cost-efficient. You'll collaborate with engineering teams to optimize query performance, advance automation efforts, and evolve our database operations toward a modern, cloud-native, infrastructure-as-code model. As part of our broader data platform transformation, you’ll have the opportunity to take on scoped work in support of the Data Engineering team — contributing to the data platform rebuild through your expertise in database performance, structure, and governance. This is a hands-on, cross-functional role that plays a critical part in maintaining a scalable, governed, and low-maintenance data foundation as the business grows.

What You’ll Do:

• Availability & Reliability: Manage and optimise CloudSQL and MongoDB environments for performance, reliability, recovery, and cost.

About You

• You have 6+ years of experience working with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, Postgres) in production, including cloud-managed services like CloudSQL or RDS
• You have 2+ years of hands-on experience with MongoDB, including performance tuning and applying governance or lifecycle practices
• You’ve worked in cloud-native environments (preferably GCP) and are comfortable using Terraform or equivalent infrastructure-as-code tools
• You are proficient in Python (or another general-purpose language) for scripting, automation, or infrastructure workflows
• You have experience implementing CI/CD workflows for database changes and are familiar with Git-based deployment
• You’ve contributed to or enforced data governance policies such as retention, pruning, and access controls
• You’ve made measurable improvements to platform performance, cost, or reliability — including optimizing indexing strategies, query patterns, and database schema design
• You take ownership, communicate clearly, and enjoy collaborating with engineers and data teams

• Familiarity with Snowflake or BigQuery, including query performance and cost optimization

We are hiring an experienced Security Software Engineer (Staff or Senior) for our Infrastructure Security team to design and build scalable security controls and services within MongoDB Atlas multi-cloud infrastructure.

The team sits within the Site Reliability Engineering organization and works with other engineering teams to ensure that our infrastructure adheres to the highest security standards.

This role can be based out of our Dublin office, or work fully remotely in Ireland.

Responsibilities:

• Design and build core security primitives and services that protect MongoDB Atlas compute, networking, and identity across AWS, Azure, and GCP
• Build secure-by-default infrastructure using Linux security mechanisms (AppArmor, SELinux, seccomp, cgroups), Kubernetes, and eBPF to enforce runtime policies and gain deep visibility into systems behaviour
• Develop APIs, automation, and tooling that manage security posture at scale (CSPM, vulnerability management, workload identity) and provide monitoring, logging, and alerting pipelines that integrate with our tooling (Grafana, Splunk, Victoria Metrics.)
• Integrate security into our CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code workflows (Terraform) so that security controls are versioned, reviewed, and deployed just like any other code
• Lead complex projects end‑to‑end, from problem discovery and design docs to implementation, rollout, and long‑term ownership
• Collaborate with SRE, platform and product engineering teams to define secure architectures for new infrastructure and services

Qualifications:

You might be a great fit if you match some of the following:

• 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, or similar roles, preferably with relevant security work
• Proficiency with at least one programming language (Java, Golang, Rust, Python, or C/C++) and experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform) to automate security configurations and processes
• A deep understanding of Linux and networking concepts, including low-level fundamentals, and how they work together in complex systems

You’re an excellent public speaker and are comfortable delivering live enablement sessions to technical audiences of up to 400 or more. Your recent experience includes directly enabling developers and architects with data-related challenges and moving them toward solutions for their real-world performance and scalability problems. As a bonus, your experience also includes exercising soft leadership with decision makers in organizations for defining, adopting, and scaling data-related technologies.

With a combination of software engineering, solutions development, consulting experience, and developer relations, you have a deep understanding of developer ecosystems and how developers best acquire fluency in new technologies. You have a solid working knowledge of databases, database performance, schema design, and optimizing production applications at scale. About the Role

Product Managers on the Atlas team work side-by-side with engineering, design, marketing, and analytics to build scalability capabilities that our users trust and that work for the business. You’ll spend your time deeply understanding how customers grow their workloads, developing hypotheses about where scaling breaks down, and validating them with design solutions across Atlas and the MongoDB server. If you’re doing well, you will continuously be accelerating the rate at which our users can safely scale up, scale down, and horizontally scale their deployments.

Our engineering teams are responsible for ensuring that clusters can scale seamlessly as demand changes — from automatic vertical scaling to horizontal auto-scaling — while keeping customer operations and workloads highly available and performant. • Expert-level proficiency in one or more advanced technical topics. Ideally, previous experience as a developer, operations engineer, or similar
• Demonstrated success in solving problems for a developer audience, and delivering software products to market
• Skills to effectively establish and communicate product strategy & vision to all relevant stakeholders; ability to translate technology features into business benefits. We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager for Python Developer Experience who will champion MongoDB’s relationship with the Python community, ensuring Python developers and data scientists have the best possible experience using MongoDB. You’ll define the strategy and roadmap for our Python driver, integrations (such as with Django, Flask and FastAPI), and tooling, informed by the needs of the ecosystem. You’ll collaborate closely with a world-class, globally distributed engineering team, but your focus is outward: understanding and serving Python developers where they are.

You’re a strong fit if you have hands-on experience building with Python and can translate developer pain points into clear, actionable product direction. As part of onboarding, you will build and document an application using MongoDB and a Python framework of your choice to gain firsthand insight into the developer experience. The ideal candidate for this role should have

• 3-5 years of product management experience with a track record of shipping developer-facing tools, integrations or APIs

• Perform and lead security reviews for Atlas features and platform changes in cloud environments, including architecture review, threat modeling, and targeted testing, with an emphasis on pragmatic, actionable guidance

Forward Deployed Engineering is linking the work of teams engaged on application modernization roles with our Product and Engineering teams.

Many organizations have built up large estates of legacy applications. Lack of scalability and resilience, long development times, operating cost, and inability to run on cloud are common issues with these applications. To address these issues, organizations are engaging in large transformational Application Modernisation programs. Organizations are continuously migrating workloads from these legacy applications to new platforms, often based on microservices, using MongoDB.

As an Associate Recruiter on our client's Talent Discovery team, you will have the unique opportunity to become a hiring subject matter expert across all areas of our business, recruiting for technical to non-technical roles alike. Pivoting to support critical positions as they arise across the company, Associate Recruiters will focus on both passive talent sourcing as well as full-lifecycle recruiting.

In this role, you will be expected to quickly upskill in new role profiles while maintaining a constant focus on cultivating a robust pipeline of aligned talent as an expert in numerous impactful sourcing tactics. What you will do:

• Support critical MongoDB roles through strategic passive talent sourcing, quickly pivoting to support new areas of MongoDB’s business as hiring needs arise.
• Provide full lifecycle recruitment support for a variety of positions across the company, ranging from highly niche technical roles to non-technical functions.
• Work closely with hiring managers to understand business needs and deliver qualified talent accordingly, becoming an expert in the external market and a consultative talent advisor for business stakeholders.
• Partner with coordinators, hiring managers and interviewers to deliver an exceptional candidate experience, maintaining a high-touch and personalized process for all candidates.
• Support an equitable and inclusive hiring process for all candidates by educating stakeholders on hiring best practices and unconscious bias in decision-making.
• Conduct talent mapping, competitive intelligence research, and focused pipelining to support ever-changing business needs.
• Help build and evolve our long-term candidate engagement strategies at MongoDB, maintaining ongoing contact with a broad talent community of prospects for consideration for future rules.

What we need to see:

• Have a passion and excitement for building a career in technical recruiting;  expertise in passive candidate sourcing for either technical or sales-focused roles is preferred but not required. Previous experience in a technology-focused organization is a plus.
• Showcase a strong knowledge of robust sourcing tactics and best practices to identify a broad top-of-funnel pipeline.
• Maintain creative and out-of-the-box sourcing techniques to tap into new pools of talent, while uncovering new tactics through research and knowledge-sharing with peers.
• Have an analytical mindset, with the ability to conduct autonomous research and utilize data to inform strategy and influence stakeholders.
• Exhibit exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with previous experience in high-volume business environments. A proven ability to juggle multiple competing priorities simultaneously while navigating ambiguity is required for role success.
• Maintain exceptional written and verbal communication, with business-level fluency in English.
• Proficiency working in Greenhouse and Gem is preferred, but not required.
