Within an agile team of 5 to 6 analytics professionals (Business Intelligence, Data Analysts, Analytics Engineers) based in Lille and Paris, we drive Decathlon's global pricing strategy. Our challenge? Steering performance during peak commercial seasons ("In-Season") and turning data into growth opportunities. Au sein du domaine Value Chain Engineering Cross, l'équipe SAP DELIVERY agit comme un centre d’expertise en intégrant les best practices et en mobilisant son expertise pour structurer et améliorer continuellement les processus de delivery, notamment lors du développement, du test et du déploiement des solutions SAP. Elle travaille en collaboration étroite avec tous les domaines de la Value Chain de Decathlon afin de garantir une intégration fluide et une optimisation globale des solutions mises en œuvre.

TA FUTURE CONTRIBUTION 

• Analyser les besoins fonctionnels et techniques pour concevoir des solutions SAP adaptées.
• Développer, tester et déployer des applications et extensions SAP (ABAP, ABAP Cloud, RAP, Fiori/UI5, CDS Views, OData, etc.).
• Contribuer à la mise en place de projets sur SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP).
• Participer à la migration et à l’optimisation de systèmes SAP S/4HANA.
• Collaborer avec les équipes fonctionnelles et les architectes pour assurer la qualité et la pérennité des développements.
• Encadrer et accompagner la montée en compétence technique des développeurs juniors.

CE QUE TU APPORTES

Compétences techniques :

• Maîtrise de l’ABAP et ABAP OO.
• Maîtrise des technologies Fiori/UI5, CDS Views, OData Services.
• Bonne expérience avec ABAP Cloud et RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model).
• Connaissance de SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform), notamment les services d’intégration et d’extension.

About the Role
As Senior Thermal and Fluidics Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for the design and engineering of Interstellar Lab’s controlled environment systems for plant growth. Your role focuses on air, water, nutrient, gas, and thermal regulation, translating biological requirements into robust, efficient, and scalable engineered systems. You will work closely with mechanical, electrical, and software teams to deliver integrated environmental control architectures, from early design through commissioning and operational optimization.

Responsibilities

• Design and engineer controlled environment systems for plant growth, covering air, water, nutrients, and thermal regulation
• Engineer irrigation and fertigation systems including dosing, recirculation, filtration, and water treatment
• Design air handling and gas management systems for temperature, relative humidity, CO2, O2, and airflow control
• Engineer thermal management for enclosures, canopy, and root zones
• Perform mass and energy balances for air, water, and nutrients at system level
• Define sensors, actuators, and control strategies for environmental regulation
• Produce P&IDs, sizing calculations, and technical specifications
• Support system integration, commissioning, testing, and performance optimization

Profile / Qualifications

• Degree in mechanical, chemical, process, or environmental engineering
• 6+ years of experience in controlled environment systems, CEA, HVAC, or industrial fluid processes
• Strong expertise in thermal engineering, fluid dynamics, and process control
• Hands-on experience with irrigation, fertigation, hydroponic or aeroponic systems
• Experience with air treatment, humidity control, and gas handling systems
• Ability to carry systems from design to commissioning and operational tuning
• Comfortable working close to hardware and multidisciplinary teams
• Fluent in English, French is a plus
