You will get direct exposure to recognised brands across industries such as FMCG, automotive, energy, food service, and retail from day one.

VML MAP’s Agentic AI Lab helps some of the world’s largest brands turn the AI shift into something tangible: from backstage tools that change how teams work, to user-facing applications, agents, demos, and prototypes people can actually experience.
We are now looking for a student assistant to work closely with our AI Lead on the design and prototyping of user-facing AI solutions.
This is a hands-on product design role at the intersection of AI, UX, interface craft, and rapid prototyping. You will shape prototypes, apps, demos, and interactive concepts that make AI feel useful, understandable, and exciting for real users and clients. This is not about designing screens that disappear into a folder. It is about imagining new AI-powered experiences, designing them properly, and bringing them to life as functional apps and demos that prove the value of your ideas — using tools such as Figma, Claude Code, Codex, and other AI-assisted development tools.
You will be involved in the full front-stage journey: from idea, to user flow, to interface design, to working prototype, to demo-ready experience.

You will design and prototype user-facing AI experiences for large clients across industries including automotive, retail, financial services, and enterprise tools.
The work may involve digital products, mobile apps, web experiences, service concepts, internal tools, live demos, and physical-digital journeys.
Your role will be to shape the front stage: what users see, understand, click, type, and act on. You will help ask the questions that make an idea more interesting — what role could voice play? How should data show up without feeling overwhelming? How do we make it feel different from yet another AI chat app?
The work is exploratory. Sometimes the question will not be “how do we improve this screen?” but “what should this experience even be now that AI is part of it?”
Becoming a part of the wider Agentic AI Lab, you will work closely with the AI Lead on user-facing AI product concepts, as well as:
We are hiring for a mindset, not a background.
You may be studying product design, interaction design, UX/UI design, service design, philosophy, creative technology, computer science, or something else entirely. Two of our AI leads came from philosophy — so the right profile is not always the obvious one on paper.
What matters is how you think, how fast you learn, what you make, and whether you are excited by the combination of design, AI, prototyping, and product thinking. You should care about beautiful, useful interfaces — but also be curious about what happens behind them.

VML MAP’s Agentic AI Lab helps some of the world’s largest brands turn the AI shift into tangible tools, applications, agents, demos, and prototypes.
We are now on the look out for a student assistant to join the Lab as our front-end profile for AI-powered experiences.
This is a hands-on role at the intersection of product design, AI, rapid prototyping, and interface craft. You will turn ideas, Figma designs, and early concepts into working digital experiences that feel polished, responsive, and demo-ready.
This is not about writing code from a perfectly defined ticket, but about working in a fast, exploratory environment where ideas move quickly from concept to working prototype.
We are looking for someone who enjoys figuring things out, cares about the final experience, and knows how to use AI-assisted development tools without losing control of the craft.
Is this you? Then keep reading!
You will build front-end experiences for user-facing AI solutions across industries including automotive, retail, financial services, and enterprise tools. The work may involve digital products, mobile-like experiences, web apps, internal tools, live demos, and physical-digital journeys.
Your role will be to make ideas work in practice — from how the interface behaves, to how data moves through the experience, to how we connect the front-end to an AI service.
The work is exploratory: sometimes you will receive a clear Figma design, other times a rough idea or half-working prototype that needs to be shaped technically.
You will also:
You will work closely with the AI Lead, and collaborate closely with product designers, AI consultants, AI engineers, and other developers on building the front-end of AI experiences: from prototype, to demo, to product-ready interface
Along the way, you will learn about the back-end side of AI products, how agents are built, and how user-facing experiences connect to the systems behind them.
We are hiring for a mindset, not a background.
You may be studying computer science, software engineering, interaction design, creative technology, philosophy, or something else entirely. Two of our AI leads came from philosophy — so the right profile is not always the obvious one on paper.
You should however be strong in front-end development, but also interested in the product and system side of what you build — someone who asks not only “does it work?” but also “does it feel good?” and “how is it powered behind the scenes?”
