About the Team:

The Internal Supply Chain team owns the raw materials supply and its distribution to the chefs/fulfillment. It’s a high-impact role with the ability to communicate constantly between all different areas of CookUnity. Our customers use our digital experience weekly to find their favorite meals from our 300+ menu items, and the Supply Chain team is responsible for making that easy and smooth for the operation.

Responsibilities:

• Own key metrics (e.g., food costs), identify cost gaps, and perform deep dives to maintain accuracy ensuring accurate and timely reporting.

• Manage stock levels to prevent shortages and excess, balancing availability with waste reduction. Follow up on the extra spent due to the purchasing delta, define an action plan to avoid it, but at the same time keep healthy stocks of short-life products to avoid increasing the waste and spoilage.

Why You'll Love This Role: 

We're looking for an experienced ML Ops Engineer to join the ML/AI team at Newsela. This team works on projects ranging from classical Machine Learning to AI / Generative pipelines.  This is a hands-on role. The Mission

This is a senior role for someone who leads from both directions at once — deeply technical on customer engagements, and fully accountable for the growth and performance of a team of ML engineers and architects. You will report to the Director of AI/ML.

You own hiring, development, and team health alongside leading complex customer engagements, shaping architecture, and driving pre-sales. Both parts of this job are real and ongoing. The right candidate will find energy in that combination, not tension.

Your Assignment

Leading Your Team

• Hire and build: Set the technical bar for ML roles on your team, lead or oversee technical assessments, and make hiring decisions you can stand behind. Build a team that raises the practice's overall standard.
• Develop people: Run regular structured 1:1s, provide candid feedback at meaningful milestones, and actively invest in each person's growth — whether they are early in their career or highly experienced.

Strategic Advisory

• Lead ML assessments: Evaluate customer environments end-to-end — infrastructure, data pipelines, model lifecycle, and organizational readiness — and produce recommendations that drive executive decisions and open the door to the next engagement.

Your Qualifications (non-negotiables)

• 10+ years in machine learning or AI, with a proven track record of leading client-facing engagements in a consulting or advisory capacity.

• Deep, current knowledge of the AWS ML and GenAI ecosystem, with the ability to make and defend architectural decisions across the full ML lifecycle — from data and feature engineering through training, deployment, and monitoring.

The Applied AI Engineering team ensures our customers get the optimal experience from DevRev. The Head of Creative Studio will drive the next chapter of CookUnity's performance marketing, harnessing AI to amplify storytelling, accelerate content/creative production, and enable rapid creative testing at scale. This role reports to the Head of Growth and operates at the crossroads of strategy, creative, and technology.

Creative strategy is your core: you understand audiences deeply, know what makes ads convert, you are obsessed with testing and can navigate the nuances of different formats. Working closely with the Growth Marketing team, you'll turn strategic priorities into scalable creative systems, testable concepts, and high-performing assets. You'll also architect the AI-driven workflows and production pipelines that multiply output and compress learning cycles.

Responsibilities:

Creative Strategy for Growth Partner with the Growth Marketing team to shape and execute creative strategies across performance channels—Meta, TV, direct mail, YouTube, email, and landing pages—ensuring every concept resonates with real customers.
